The Greatest Threat To Christianity Today Is Pastors

Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Ephesians 6:10-13, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

The greatest threat to Christianity in 2021 is not the vile homosexual community. It is not the murderous abortion industry. Our greatest enemy today is not the dirty liquor traffic. Our greatest threat is not filthy Hollywood and their cesspool of iniquity. The greatest threat to Christianity today is arrogant, proud and stubborn pastors, who will not heed THE TRUTH.

There is nothing new under the sun. They had the same problem in the Old Testament. I feel like a modern-day Jeremiah. The prophet Jeremiah wasn't married and neither am I. Jeremiah preached hard, uncompromising and without apology against the wicked pastors of the day, because they didn't care about truth. Jeremiah saw that the PASTORS of his generation (during the time of Babylon) were dropping the ball for God, just as I see it happening today in 2021. Read what the man of God says about the shameful pastors of his day...

Jeremiah 10:21, “For the pastors are become brutish [lacking good sense], and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.”

Jeremiah 12:10, “Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.”

Jeremiah 22:22, “The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.”

Jeremiah 23:1, “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!  saith the LORD.”

Jeremiah 23:2, “Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.”

Ungodly pastors make people not want to go to church anymore. I receive emails all the time from people who don't want to attend church anymore, because they are sick and tired of Lordship Salvation being taught. They are sick and tired of seeing dozens of Bible versions, and corrupt revisions being used in churches. They are sick and tired of pastors running the churches like they personally own it, as a dictatorship instead of the house of God. Something is very wrong with 97% of pastors and churches today, especially in the United States. The biggest problem is that pastors no longer have a PURE HEART. A man with a pure heart is a truth-seeker. He may start off wrong in the ministry, as did Pastor Jack Hyles on the Bible, but because they are pure of heart they are willing to change toward right. Dr. Hyles was pure of heart, and by God's grace so am I.

Dear friend, always be pure of heart! But if you want to belong to a big group of phonies, who superficially claim to love truth but definitely don't, then Bob Jones University is the hellhole for you. They teach Lordship Salvation. Then deny that we have an inspired, infallible or inerrant Bible today. Perhaps you like that kind of Caspar Milquetoast religion. Perhaps you like going along to get along with the crowd. That is why Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, Dr. Marty Herron in Iowa at Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary, and other heretics, refuse to break ties with Bob Jones University—birds of a feather flock together! Proverbs 16:5, “Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.” The Bob Jones crowd are a stiffnecked bunch! 

You cannot help the Bob Jones University crowd, because they are subverted of themselves, filled with pride. Titus 3:10-11, “A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.” I am shocked how many pastors and churches rally behind Pastor John MacArthur. Mr. MacArthur's plan of Lordship Salvation is so complicated, that he says children cannot be saved. Also, MacArthur says Jesus did not have divine blood flowing in His veins. Contrary to the simplicity that is in Christ, MacArthur makes salvation hard. But like the hellbound Mormons, Seventh-Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses, Dr. MacArthur says something really great, intriguing and interesting things from the pulpit. So millions of people are woefully deceived. A man who is wrong on the Bible, repentance and the Gospel cannot be trusted with anything theologically.

The Gospel is under brutal attack today in 2021. We are at war spiritually folks! We are at war over the inspiration, inerrancy and infallibility of the Word of God. We are at war over the clarity, meaning and accuracy of the Gospel. Sadly, the greatest threat to churches today are the apostate Bible colleges (e.g., Bob Jones University, Moody Bible Institute, Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary, Masters University, et cetera), which supply churches with incompetent pastors. I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for the shallow, indifferent, wishy-washy, yuppie-type, graduates coming out of today's disgraceful so-called Bible colleges. What a misnomer! 

One of the Devil's tactics, which he uses to corrupt truth, is to introduce imitations of the truth. So over time people get used to those imitations and embrace them, which eventually replaces the genuine thing. For example: Before the year 1881 nearly everyone used the King James Bible. But then two unsaved Anglican ministers named Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort, produced an allegedly new, older and better Greek text in 1881. The new Bible versions started being published, but sparingly. Albeit, in the 1960's all the stops of Hell were unplugged and Bible revisions by the dozens started appearing year after year. Today, according to the American Bible Society, there are approximately 900 English Bibles.

Hundreds of thousands of young people enroll into Bible college believing that the Bible is inspired by God, and when they graduate don't believe that we have an infallible, inerrant or inspired Bible today. Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) admits that he also was misled by theologians in the early years of his ministry, but he woke up and realized what had happened, and because a champion for the King James Bible for the rest of his life.

The greatest threat to Christianity today is apathetic pastors. I've read that the average pastor only lasts for 5 years before he quits. That is because they got into the ministry for the wrong reasons. You're dealing with people as a pastor. If you don't like the smell of sheep, don't become a shepherd! The pastorate used to be a divine calling, when men felt called of God to preach (which is my testimony); but today you've got these pipsqueak knuckleheads who can't preach their way our of a wet paper bag, to whom the pastorate is merely a profession (a way to make money and keep their hands clean). I wouldn't give you a dime for today's shallow, gutless and incompetent pastors. I could go on all day about today's pathetic pastors and the churches who hire, tolerate and honor them! These yardbirds don't deserve any honor. They ought to be run out of town by their congregations! GET RIGHT WITH GOD AMEICA!!!
