Proclaiming the Gospel of free grace, without works, simply by faith in the 'Good News' of Jesus Christ!
Turning From Sins Is A Work
A Deadly Counterfeit Gospel Is Being Preached From Nearly Every Pulpit Today
Through His death on the cross and resurrection, Jesus provided the way for humanity to be reconciled with God. Salvation is not earned through good works or personal merit but is received by grace through faith. This faith involves trusting in Jesus' sacrificial death for the forgiveness of sins and accepting Him as Lord and Savior....
Repentance, on the other hand, is the sincere turning away from sin and turning towards God. It involves a heartfelt acknowledgment of one's sins, a genuine sorrow for them, and a commitment to change. Acts 3:19 urges, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." Emphasizing that repentance is not just about feeling remorse but also involves a decisive shift in one's life direction.Faith without repentance is incomplete, as true faith naturally leads to a transformed life marked by a desire to follow God's will. Similarly, repentance without faith lacks the foundation needed for true spiritual renewal. Together, they form the core of the Christian response to the Gospel, opening the way to forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and a new life in Christ. [emphasis added] SOURCE
- Do you see anything in this passage about making a commitment to change? No, you don't.
- Do you see anything that requires having a sincere desire to turn away from your sinning? No, you don't.
- Do you see anything about feeling remorse to be saved? No, you don't.
- Do you see anything about repentance involving a decisive shift in one's life direction? No, you don't.
- Do you see anything that requires that your life be transformed to prove you are really saved? No, you don't.
- Do you see anything that says by getting saved you will automatically desire to do God's will? No, you don't.

“We don't affirm easy-believism.” —Dr. Albert Mohler Jr.
SOURCE: 'Have We Really Misunderstood the Gospel for 2000 Years?' (you can read what he said in the transcript article; you can also hear him say it at 23:47 time in YouTube video)Kindly said, what an incompetent religious fool! Only a fool denies easy-believism. Coincidentally, I heard an awesome sermon this morning by Pastor Jack Hyles from 1990 titled, “God's Memorial Day,” in which he makes this beautiful statement...
“You know why good works can't save you, 'cause there's no such thing as good works. ...The Bible says in Isaiah 64:6, even our righteousness is like filthy rags in the sight of God.” —Dr. Jack Hyles, “God's Memorial Day” (1990)
I also made this excellent excerpt today from the same sermon, in which Dr. Hyles defends the biblical truth of how easy it is to be saved. I titled the excerpt, “Easy Believism Defended” (John 3:14-16 says the Jews simply LOOKED to the brass serpent Moses' made to be saved from death, and likewise you get saved simply by LOOKING TO JESUS).
On his website, Dr. Mohler praises Pastor MacArthur's book, 'The Gospel According To Jesus' as one of the top 10 most important books written over the past 25 years. Dr. Mohler chose to quote this excerpt from Dr. MacArthur's toxic demon-spawned book...
The gospel in vogue today holds forth a false hope to sinners. It promises them that they can have eternal life yet continue to live in rebellion against God. Indeed, it encourages people to claim Jesus as Savior yet defer until later the commitment to obey Him as Lord. It promises salvation from hell but not necessarily freedom from iniquity. It offers false security to people who revel in the sins of the flesh and spurn the way of holiness. By separating faith from faithfulness, it teaches that intellectual assent is as valid as a wholehearted obedience to the truth.
The Sin Of Indifference Toward Gospel Accuracy
The inspired Word of God clearly defines “the gospel” for the reader in 1st Corinthians 15:1-6. Yet, you'll hear preachers behind nearly every pulpit today embellishing, changing and perverting God's simple plan of salvation, adding words to the Scripture that God didn't say. Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Case in point...
“REPENTANCE — Now is the time to turn from your sin and embrace God. The act of turning away from sin is called 'repentance.' This word implies an inward decision to follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins. It means changing your mind about sin and seeing it as something that grieves God. The Bible says that God patiently waits for all people to make this decision.” [emphasis added]

Beware Of A Sneaky False Gospel
Be careful about anybody who tries to make you doubt your salvation.
Salvation is not based on your performance, it’s based on what Jesus Christ already finished through Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago.
Religious legalism is the belief that individuals can earn God's approval and achieve salvation through strict adherence to rules and regulations (works), rather than through faith by grace. It emphasizes a change of external behavior as proof of faith, rather than biblical easy-believism which has absolutely nothing to do with one's behavior.
The moment a man starts tying your salvation to your works, he’s undermining your assurance and denying the sealing of the Holy Spirit the moment you were born again.
Lordship Salvation: A Dubious Plan Of Salvation
Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
The word “dubious” means “fraught with uncertainty or doubt, open to doubt or suspicion.” This is a perfect word to describe the counterfeit gospel of Lordship Salvation. I have actually heard some preachers separate the heresy of Lordship Salvation from the heresy of “repent of your sins” to get to Heaven, but in truth they BOTH add works to grace. So, I consider BOTH of these damnable heresies to be 'LORDSHIP SALVATION.'
Evangelist Kent Hovind for example, preaches against the heresy of Lordship Salvation, and yet he is wrong on repentance. I went to Dr. Hovind's official website and clicked on “ARE YOU SAVED?” (which link he has since removed since 2016; I guess he no longer cares if people get saved, he just wants your money). The former link took you to this page (now a dead link) which contained a YouTube video. The video is still on YouTube. Here's what Dr. Hovind says in his perverse video:
“The Bible says you have to repent. The word 'repent' means 'to turn.' It actually means two things: to turn from your sin, and to turn to God. God's looking for a change in your attitude, where you say, 'Lord, I don't want to do wrong anymore. I'm sorry. I've offended you. I want to do right,' and you turn from sin and you turn to God, and you say, 'God will you please forgive me. Would you save me?'” [emphasis added]Kindly, Dr. Kent Hovind is teaching heresy by embellishing the meaning of Bible “repentance” to include a willingness to turn away from sinful behavior. This is the same doctrinal error of the late Jack Chick (1924-2016). Kent foolishly says to be saved you must say to God: “LORD, I WANT TO DO RIGHT” and then “YOU TURN FROM SIN.” It may seem like a little thing, but telling a lost sinner that in order to be saved they must be willing to clean up their life to reform and cease from sinful bad habits, has now made God's simple plan of salvation very complicated and burdensome, when God intended for it to be free, easy and simple.

Repentance Means to Lay Aside Your Wrong Thoughts to Believe the Gospel
Pastor Bob Gray Sr. at the Longview Baptist Temple church in Texas correctly preaches . . .
“Repentance means to change your mind—change your mind—change your mind about how you want to get to Heaven to what God says you've got to do to get to Heaven. If you've got to repent of all your sins, you're still headed for Hell tonight.” —Pastor Bob Gray Sr., 'Why You Should Be A Part Of A Growing Church'In his excellent book, “I NEVER KNEW YOU,” Michael Patrick Bowen states . . .
“You can live for Christ, you can love Christ, you can serve Him with all your might, time, talent and wealth. You can pray to Him, read your Bible, get water-baptized, join a church, witness to people, and do every wonderful work contained within the realm of Christianity, but if you fail to trust Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, He will 'dump' you.”Beware of the false teaching in most churches today, even many Baptist churches, which says that you have to forsake sinful living to get saved, commit your life to Christ and surrender fully to Christ's Lordship. Satan loves to corrupt the Gospel by either adding good works, or by subtracting bad works, to be saved. Whether good or bad works, both are DEAD WORKS! (Hebrews 6:1).

Michael Patrick Bowen correctly explains Biblical repentance...
“Repent, as Christ meant it to be in terms of salvation, means to change your mind from trusting in what you can do for God to trusting only in what He can do for you.”Also, Dr. Hal Lindsey has repentance Biblically correct, who states:
SOURCE: Michael Patrick Bowen, a quote from the awesome book, “I NEVER NEW YOU” (Page 114)
“Repentance, as it relates to Christ, means to change our minds about Him, who He is and what He's done to provide forgiveness, and deliverance from our sins. When we place faith in Jesus as having taken our place personally on the cross and borne the penalty due our sins, then we're automatically repenting, because we couldn't accept Him in this way without having to change or minds in some way concerning Him.” (From the Liberation of the Planet Earth, by Hal Lindsey. (p. 133)
A Dubious Plan Of Salvation
As a fundamentalist Baptist preacher, each year I receive hundreds of ministry emails from confused people. They've been lied to and woefully deceived by lying ungodly fake preachers like Ray Comfort, John MacArthur, Todd Friel, Paul Washer, Jeff Redlin, Bobby and Brad Moffett, Billy and Franklin Graham, Bill Adams, Marty Herron, Jared Baldwin, 'UNSHACKLED' radio, Joel Osteen, Albert Mohler Jr., Pensacola Christian College, Jack Chick and countless more damnable FALSE PROPHETS!
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” [emphasis added] —Evangelist John Bunyan
“There is power in this Gospel message. Most people just don't know how to present it... The clarity of the Gospel is what makes it easy for them to believe.” —Pastor Yankee Arnold, “WHY GRACE CAN SAVE THE WORST MAN!”
"We show our love for God by our obedience. If we do not obey, we do not truly love Him (see vv. 23,24). There are many who call Him 'Lord, Lord,' but do not do what He says. Matthew 7:21-23 tells us their fearful state."

The Deadly Counterfeit Gospel Of Evangelist William Lane Craig
Is any of that Biblical? Let's break it down...God, I really need You. I recognize that I am sinful and wretched and in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sins. And right now, in the best way I know how, I open the door of my life and invite you to come in and be my Savior and Lord. Forgive my sins, take the throne of my life, and make me into the kind of person you want me to be. I give myself to you.
- Nowhere does the Word of God require for a lost sinner to pray at all to be saved. Jesus said in John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” We are saved by BELIEVING, not by praying. I wish that preachers would stop adding an unnecessary requirement to pray to get to Heaven, when all the Bible teaches to do is to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31). It is okay to accompany one's faith in Christ with a prayer, but it is very important that soulwinner's always explain to a lost person that praying cannot save them, faith does.
- Nowhere does the Bible require a lost sinner to tell God that they need Him to get to Heaven. I mean, if it is not required to be saved, why add it to what a sinner needs to do to be saved? It confuses the person.
- Nowhere does the Bible require a lost person to open the door of their life and invite Jesus to come in. - That is false doctrine. A person simply needs to place a childlike trust in the crucified, buried and risen Savior (1st Thessalonians 4:14).
- Nowhere does the Bible require a lost sinner to make Jesus their “Lord.” Jesus is the Lord, you don't make Him your Lord. The moment that you accept Jesus as your personal Savior, He automatically is your Lord. Whether or not you acknowledge Him and serve Him as your Lord has nothing to do with receiving God's free gift of eternal life, which is through faith alone in Jesus (Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 4:5-6).
- Nowhere does the Bible require a lost sinner to “ASK” to have one's sins forgiven. Jesus doesn't forgive sins. You read right. Jesus has already paid for everyone's sins with His precious blood through Calvary's cross. All that God requires for you to be saved, is to to realize that you are a needy sinner and receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that Christ is risen.
- Nowhere does the Bible require that a lost sinner ask God to take the throne of their life. I am so sick and tired of lying preachers who embellish and add to the Gospel of free grace. If you follow the counterfeit plan of salvation of William Lane Craig, you CANNOT be born-again. God has very plainly laid out the Gospel in His inspired Word, which we read in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. All of this extra garbage that William is adding is damnable heresy. For a man with an allegedly extremely high IQ of 170, William is a very poor theologian. In fact, William is a hellbound infidel, sad to say. What he is preaching is far from what the inspired King James Bible teaches.
- Nowhere in the Bible is a lost sinner required to ask God to make them into the person God wants them to be to get to Heaven. Again, this is more junk theology from William Lane Craig, wickedly adding to God's simple plan of salvation. Since this is a suggested sinner's prayer to be saved, William is clearly implying that some sort of changed life is required at some point to be saved. SHAME on Craig!!!
- Nowhere does the Bible require a lost sinner to give them self to God to get to Heaven. Jesus gave Himself as the sacrificial Lamb of God on the cross, to pay our massive debt of sin that we simply could never pay. Eternal life is received, not achieved. Salvation is a TAKE proposition, not a GIVE proposition. God is freely offering you eternal life, and all you need to do if you want it is to TAKE it by faith. Simply take God at His Word as recorded in the Scriptures concerning Jesus Christ, who died on a cross for your sins, was buried and three days later He miraculously resurrected from the dead. BELIEVE IT, oh sinner, and you are now and forever saved (John 3:16; Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 15:1-6).
1st Corinthians 15:1-6, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

God Won't Let You Slide If You're Wrong On The Gospel
I was talking with a professed Baptist Christian recently. She has a family member who is a member of the Church of Christ. Her family member has been pressuring her for years, trying to convert her over to the Church of Christ heresy that says you must be water baptized to get to Heaven. Thankfully, the woman I was speaking with kindly told her family member to stop trying to convert her, or she was going to hang up the phone. The Church of Christ woman ended up hanging up the phone instead, in frustration. Cult members can be pushy!
But what concerned me was what the Christian woman said to me concerning her family member, when I said that we need to pray for her salvation. My friend said that her family member is saved, she is just confused. I kindly corrected her wrong thinking with the Bible, explaining that no one is saved who thinks you must be water baptized to get to Heaven, which is a counterfeit Gospel. My friend replied that God sees her family member's heart and knows that she believes the Gospel. I again needed to correct her with the Bible, explaining that there is only one Gospel, not two or three or more.
Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
1st Corinthians 15:1-6, “ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- Jesus DIED for our sins on the cross
- Jesus was BURIED.
- Jesus RESURRECTED three days later from the dead.
- WHO Jesus is - He is the only begotten Son of God, the Christ (John 20:31).
- WHAT Jesus died for you - He died on a cross for our sins, was buried and raised up the third day (John chapters 19-20).
- WHY Jesus did it - He did it because we are all guilty sinners, and the penalty of sin is death (Romans 6:23), including the second death in Hell fire and brimstone (Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8).
