Kindly said, you cannot show me one verse from the inspired King James Bible that teaches to repent “of your sins,” turn from your sins, be willing to turn from your sins, forsake a sinful lifestyle, or turn from your past sinful ways to be saved. Yet, this is the shameful Satanic garbage we are hearing preached from nearly every pulpit, website, radio station and television channel today.

Beware of Pensacola Christian College (PCC) and their damnable counterfeit gospel. Beware of Bob Jones University (BJU) and their damnable counterfeit gospel. I have seen them literally laugh in my face over my preaching, esteeming my website ministry a joke. We'll see what God has to say about all this in eternity on Judgment Day. The King James Bible crowd is going to come out on top. The free grace Gospel crowd is going to come out on top.

Those infidels who promote the Devil's corruptible seed (such as BJU) have much blood on their hands and will rue the day when they are judged by God almighty. Those who preach another gospel (such as PCC) have much blood on their hands and will rue the day when they are judged by God almighty. I am virtually the only one who is standing for the truth. Show me the preachers today that are exposing PCC and BJU like I am. Good luck finding them!

My ministry friend, Lou Martuneac, from Chicago (my home town) is the only one I know of (besides myself) who is preaching against BJU today. Lou is an alumnus of BJU and understands how apostate the college has become. Dr. Steve Pettit (BJU president from 2014 to 2023) is a devil in the pulpit, who preaches hardcore Calvinist Lordship Salvation.

Matthew 3:1-2, “In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” ...

This word (Repent) is the Greek word metanoeo. Metanoeo is taken from two Greek words: (meta - meaning, “after”) and (noeo - meaning, “mind”). The word literally means, “after thought” (II Cor. 7:8-10). True repentance means, “to change your mind about what you believe and agree with what God says, and then confess it” (I Jn. 1:9a). God tells us that there are two areas in which we must repent, if we are to be saved. We must change our minds as to:

1. Who we are (Lk. 5:31-32 & 13:1-5 and Mt. 27:3) — God tells us that we are sinfully sick and in need of the Savior and that we cannot save ourselves (Rom. 3:10, 23).
2. Who CHRIST is (Mt. 4:13-14 & 11:20-24, Mk. 1:15, Acts 3:12-19 and Acts 2:38a) —Christ is God (Jn. 8:24, 58-59, not a god. Christ is the only Savior (Acts 4:10-12).

Bravo Pastor Strand! I would like to clarify that to “confess it” does not mean with your mouth; but rather, to simply admit to God you are a guilty sinner (Romans 3:19-20). I am against the strange New IFB (New Independent Fundamental Baptist) doctrine today which mandates praying to be saved. The Bible plainly teaches that trusting Jesus Christ as your Savior—believing that He is the only begotten Son of God who died on a cross to pay for your sins and raised from the dead—is enough to be saved (without calling, asking or praying for it). John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

My regular blog readers know that I write about repentance often, but the reason I do is simply because it is such an important topic. Very few preachers get repentance correct these days, so I need to pick up the slack to warn everyone. Wrong repentance means a wrong Gospel and no new birth. Dr. Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) was right, who said that repentance is like buttoning a dress shirt—if you get the first button wrong, then all of the other buttons will be wrong too. Pastor Hutson is so right!

Dear friend, I heard a foolish religious man, Professor Kevin Bauder from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, falsely claim that Lordship Salvation falls within the realm of orthodox theology. No Sir, it does not, not even close. You either have to forsake a lifestyle of sinning to be saved, or you do not, but it simply cannot be both! For example: Take a look and compare the following two plans of salvation...

2. Pastor Stephen Davey's False Gospel
3. The False Gospel Of Hillsong And Pensacola Christian College
4. The One Thing That Determines Salvation (by Dr. Curtis Hutson)

If you took the time to examine and compare the different plans of salvation, then you saw that what Stephen Davey, Hillsong and PCC are preaching today is VERY different than the simple free grace Gospel that David Rutkin and Curtis Hutson are preaching.

These are two completely different plans of salvation!!! One plan requires simple childlike faith in Jesus Christ and what He did through Calvary's cross to pay your debt of sin; but the other demands that in addition you turn from your sinful bad habits, abandon self to submit to obey God's will for your life, and follow Jesus as “Lord” from now on. The latter plan is based upon partial faith in Christ plus works, not God's grace alone.

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

John MacArthur's Roots: Bad Bibles

Well-known radio teacher and author, John MacArthur, wrongly believes that it is just Christ's death that saves sinners, not His blood sacrifice for the mercy seat. Could Jesus just have had a heart attack shoveling snow when He was old? What about the Old Testament examples of the blood sacrifice? They extend from Abel, to Noah, and all throughout the entire Old Testament. The Bible says, “Without shedding of blood is no remission” (Heb. 9:22). Heb. 9:12 tell us that “By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us” (See also Rev. 11:19). Does MacArthur get his Scripture-twisters from sources such as Vine and new versions that often substitute the word “death” for the word “blood”? Why does Vine change, “through faith in his blood?” (vol. 4, p. 137). Vine says,

“The ‘blood’ of Christ stands for his death...”
“The blood does not simply denote the physical material, it stands for the death of Christ” (vol. 4, pp. 137,251).

Vine writes heresy about “the blood” in his essay entitled, “The Table of The Lord and The Lord's Supper.” He feels that the ‘blood’ is simply used to “illustrate” his death, just as the term the “table” of The Lord illustrates the communion. The blood was not merely a ‘picture.’ It was God's blood offered for our sins.

Vine and MacArthur share another subtle theological error. Tinges of MacArthur's Lordship Salvation mar Vine's interpretations (based on Vine's rendition of Rom. 10:9). Vine says,

“When he expounds the conditions upon which salvation is to be possessed, he stresses the necessity of acknowledging the Lordship of Christ: If thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord” (bold mine, vol. 4, p. 117; vol. 1, p. 403).

Vine changes the KJV's text from the reading, “confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus...” to “confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord” (Vine and his R.V. contradict themselves by omitting “Lord” many times and also by demoting our “Lord” to a mere ‘Master’ (e.g., vol. 4, p. 130). ...

Vine's Other Corrupt Sources

When you read Vine's you are not reading ‘Greek’; you are really reading Westcott, Hort and Thayer. You are not reading ‘Hebrew’; you are reading Gesenius' and his Old Testament Lexicon. Vine's additional sources are listed here in bold type (vol. 1, p. 34). (All of these men's heresies have merited a chapter in this book or a discussion in the author's other books New Age Bible Versions, The Language of the King James Bible, or In Awe of Thy Word.)

Vine's An Expository Dictionary of Old Testament Words recommends the following materials which were available during Vine's life (Old Tappan, N.J.; Fleming Revell Company, 1978, see the bibliography of David Huttar, pp. 169, 172, 173, 176).

I highly recommend Dr. Gail Riplinger's books uplifting and defending the King James Bible, and which expose the corrupt New Age modern Bible versions. NEW AGE BIBLE VERSIONS (1:23 hour MP3 interview with Dr. Gail Riplinger; you've got to hear this!).

Moses and Aaron in Exodus 12:13b, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” Moses and Aaron were instructed by God to tell all the people that if the blood of a male, innocent, lamb, having no blemish, were applied to the doorposts of the home, then the 10th plague upon Egypt (which is the death of all the first born) would be spared them.

That literal blood represented the liquid blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, applied to the heavenly mercy seat. Hebrews 9:12 says, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Heretics like Vine and MacArthur claim that the word ‘blood’ doesn't mean what it says; but instead, they say it merely means ‘death.’ But notice that God didn't say He'd pass over the home if He saw a dead lamb. No, God was looking for THE BLOOD APPLIED!!!

In the same way, the Old Testament high priest annually took the blood of a slain perfect lamb (representing the sinless Lamb of God, Jesus) into the holy of holies. The high priest sprinkled that liquid blood upon the mercy seat, between the two cherubims, in the presence of God almighty Who was looking down upon it. Again, the death of a lamb in the inner courtyard of the Tabernacle meant nothing unless that lamb's literal blood was sprinkled upon the mercy seat inside the holy of holies (or holy place). The False Gospel Of Hillsong Church And Pensacola Christian College Match

Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

HILLSONG CHURCH, commonly known as “Hillsong,” is a charismatic fake Christian megachurch based in Australia. The original church was established in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, as Hills Christian Life Centre by Brian Houston and his wife, Bobbie Houston, in 1983. Hillsong and its worldly Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) have been highly successful globally, with its presence described as a global corporate brand, but a series of scandals and criticisms have negatively affected its image in recent years.

HILLSONG CHURCH preaches another gospel which cannot produce the new birth in Christ...

“We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.”

The False Gospel of Hillsong Church

Tragically, Pensacola Christian College (PCC) and their pathetic Campus Church in Pensacola, Florida, preach the same exact crap as Hillsong. The following heretical quotes were taken from a “John & Romans” booklet which PCC's Campus Church mailed to my mailbox in November of 2023 (they mailed these toxic booklets to thousands of Pensacola residents):

“follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins.” —“John & Romans,” Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, p. 60

“I repent of my sins. I realize that sin is something that God hates and I no longer want to hold onto sinful bad habits in my life.” —“John & Romans,” Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College, p. 62

Turning from your sinful bad habits, and following and obeying God's will for your life, does NOT match the plan of salvation taught in the inspired Holy Bible. PCC and Hillsong are wickedly giving lost sinners a FALSE HOPE, by misleading them to think they can be saved by a works-based-salvation.

Notice that on page 63 that PCC teaches FOUR STEPS to be saved:

1. Repent
2. Believe
3. Ask
4. Receive

The Bible only teaches one thing to do to be saved, just BELIEVE. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” Nowhere does the Bible teach a lost sinner to “ask” to be saved. God is already freely offering eternal life to whosoever takes it by faith. Repentance is not a separate step from believing. Receiving is not a separate step from believing. RUN from deadly religious cults like PCC and Hillsong!!!

Remember, Satan is a beautiful liar! Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. That is what PCC is doing! That is what Hillsong is doing! They are wickedly giving lost sinners false hope, by telling them to put their faith in Christ PLUS live the Christian life (works) to get to Heaven.

Catholics are NOT Christians! By “Christian” I mean born-again. Jesus warned in John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Dear reader, if there has never been a time and place in your life when you came to God as a guilty sinner, and by faith received Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, trusting the Bible record that Jesus was buried but then resurrected from the dead after three days, you need to get saved before it is too late. Being religious won't get you into Heaven. Most people have churchianity without Christianity, because they've never been born again. In the Catholic religion some errantly teach that you must keep Seven Sacraments to get to Heaven. Some of these sacraments include water baptism, Holy Eucharist (communion), confession, et cetera. Interestingly, if you read different Catholic ministry websites you will find varying methods of how to get to Heaven. Oh boy! Let's examine a couple shall we.

Catholic Answers magazine says this is how you can go to Heaven...

The two sentences are these: To come to God and be saved, you need to repent, have faith, and be baptized. If you commit mortal sin, you need to repent, have faith, and go to confession.

That’s it. That’s all there is to it. And we can show each of these things from the Bible.

What you just read is another gospel which doesn't match the Bible's plan of salvation. Catholic.com is wrong to make repentance a separate step from faith to be saved. Biblically, repentance (Greek verb: metanoeo) is simply a change of mind unto the Gospel itself. That is, a man who believes the Gospel has repented. That is, he has changed his mind. Anybody who tells you that more than faith is required to get to Heaven is a liar! Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

'The Dark Knight' Catholic Website Gets The Gospel Wrong

Here is another Catholic ministry website at The Dark Knight. They errantly teach that you must keep the Seven Sacraments to get to Heaven...

Thus, if we want to get to Heaven and knowing that only the holy are allowed into Heaven, and then knowing that the Sacraments make us holy, then it is by the Sacraments that this is accomplished. Namely, our salvation and sanctification.

The Sacraments make us Holy! That is why they are important!

Dear friend, what you just read is self-righteousness reformation, not God's free grace. They are trying to make sinners holy through manmade tradition, in this case “sacraments.” The Dark Knight website are very wrong, you don't get made holy and sanctified by keeping some stupid religious sacraments. What saith the Scripture? John 17:17, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” It is the inspired Word of God that sanctifies the believer. But you need to get saved first. So, here we learn that “the gospel” is the power of God which saves, if someone simply believes it. That raises the next question of, what is “the gospel”? ...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

The Bible plainly teaches us how to get to Heaven—by putting our trust in the Gospel, which is the “Good News” that Jesus died on a cross to pay for our sins, was buried and three days later He bodily resurrected from the dead. This is the GOOD NEWS!!! Believe it, Oh guilty sinner, and you are saved!

Now, how does what Catholic.com and KinghtsRepublic.com compare with what we just read from the inspired King James Bible? Nowhere does the Bible teach to repent of your sins to be saved. Nowhere does the Bible teach to keep sacraments to be saved. In fact, the word “sacraments” is not even found in the Bible. Nowhere does the Bible teach to be water baptized to be saved.

Catholic.com Perverts 1st Peter 3:21 To Teach Baptismal Regeneration

On the Catholic.com webpage that I linked to earlier, they cite the following Scripture passage from 1st Peter 3:21 as a proof text that you must be water baptized to get to Heaven. This popular false doctrine is called Baptismal Regeneration. ...

1st Peter 3:20-22, “Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”

But please take careful notice of the words following “whereunto even baptism doth also now save us”—it reads, “(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,).” Water baptism cannot cleanse us from our sins, only the precious blood of Jesus can do that! Revelation 1:5-6, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

My ministry friend Pastor Max Younce (1935-2023) graduated to Heaven on August 11, 2023. I appreciate and miss him. Dr. Younce was a true scholar. I often referred to him as “the Dr. John R. Rice of our generation.” Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980) founded the Sword Of The Lord in 1934 and was a brilliant Bible scholar, having authored hundreds of books and helpful resources for people who wanted to learn the Holy Bible.

Dr. Younce wrote the following helpful information to explain 1st Peter 3:21...

1 Peter 3:20,21 "...When once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by (through) water. (20) The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh [i.e. our sins], but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." (21) 

Several years ago, my wife and I were listening to the car radio, having just tuned into a religious broadcast. After a few minutes, the minister quoted one sentence from Verse 21, that being "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save 31 us"—period! He did not finish the verse; but, went on to explain, at great length, the necessity of baptism for salvation. 

Again, I cannot emphasize strongly enough the importance of reading all of a verse, including the surrounding text, to receive the correct interpretation and meaning. In 2 Timothy 2:15 we are instructed to "rightly" divide the Word of Truth;" NOT "rightly chop up the Word of Truth!" 

Since Verse 21 begins with "the like figure," it is referring to that which is set forth in Verse 20. It should be noticed that in Verse 20, the "eight souls that were saved by water" should be translated "saved through water"; NOT, "by water." The eight were saved from the flood waters by being in the ark—a type of Christ. They were not saved by the water for it was that which destroyed! Therefore, "the like figure" is figurative of the ark of Christ which provided absolute safety from the flood waters of death. The flood waters testify of death; and the ark, of resurrection. Notice Genesis 8:4, 

"And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat." 

It is not by chance that the ark (A type of Christ) rested on the mountain on the 7th month, on the 17th day. Centuries later, God changed the calendar. Noah's calendar was in effect until the emancipation of Israel from Egypt; and, God then instituted their religious calendar. The first month of Israel's religious calendar was the same as the 7th month of Noah's secular calendar, or our April. The Jewish Passover, representing Christ's death, was on the 14th day (Leviticus 23:4,5); therefore, Christ was resurrected three days later on the 17th, the same day the ark rested on the mountains of Ararat, showing resurrection. 

Conclusion: Baptism does not save us; but, identifies us publicly, showing our faith is in the death, and Resurrection of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus. 

Returning to 1 Peter 3:21 where the phrase "baptism doth also now save us" is explained within the verse, itself. Here we have the "negative" and the "positive." The "negative" tells us what baptism does not save us from. Here is the record...

"...not the putting away of the filth of the flesh,... (i.e. our sins)." 

Now the "positive" telling us what baptism does save us from, that being a GUILTY CONSCIENCE before God. Again, the record... 

"...but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." 

How simple the Scriptures are when we are willing to accept God's Word as our Authority. A child of God is saved by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8,9); but, will be void of a good, clear conscience; until they are willing to be identified with Christ by their public baptism. 

"Go ye therefore, and teach (i.e. make disciples of) all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (19) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." - Matthew 28:19,20

I want to repeat something that Dr. Younce said, because it is so very important when studying the Word of God. ...

Again, I cannot emphasize strongly enough the importance of reading all of a verse, including the surrounding text, to receive the correct interpretation and meaning. In 2 Timothy 2:15 we are instructed to "rightly" divide the Word of Truth;" NOT "rightly chop up the Word of Truth!"

The false teachers at Catholic.com are guilty of violating the principle that Pastor Younce just taught. They “chop up” the Word of Truth by only quoting the first portion of 1st Peter 3:21, totally ignoring the last part of the verse.

Here is an exact quote from the heretical Catholic.com website...

And the need for baptism is shown when St. Peter flatly tells us: “Baptism now saves you” (1 Peter 3:21).

So that’s what you need to do if you want to come to God and be saved: Repent, have faith, and be baptized.

Do you see how dishonest they are? They are merely cherry-picking the Bible, lifting text out of context to create a new pretext. By manipulating the Bible the way that Catholic.com does, you could literally teach ANYTHING! 1st Peter 3:21 says that water baptism does not put away the filth of our flesh. That is, water baptism cannot wash away our sins, only the precious blood of Jesus can do that! 1st John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Getting water baptized is the first step of obedience for a new believer. If we want to have a good conscience toward God, then we need to get baptized right away (which is the public profession of our Christian faith).

Roman Catholicism butchers the Holy Bible:

1. Whereas the Bible commands us not to call men “Father” or “Rabbi,” that is exactly what Catholics wickedly do! Matthew 23:9, “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”
2. 1st Timothy 4:1-3 warns that false prophets will come, “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats...” That is exactly what Catholics do, flagrantly violating God's Word!
3. There is nothing in the Bible about The Assumption of Mary.
4. There is nothing in the Bible about The Immaculate Conception of Mary.
5. There is nothing in the Bible about The Perpetual Virginity of Mary.
6. There is nothing in the Bible about about praying The Rosary to Mary.
7. There is nothing in the Bible about confessing your sins to a priest.
8. There is nothing in the Bible about sacraments.
9. There is nothing in the Bible about eating Jesus' body and drinking His blood.
10. There is nothing in the Bible about priests having power to forgive men's sins.

13. There is nothing in the Bible about Mortal versus Venial Sins.

I could literally list hundreds of manmade Catholic traditions that are not found in the Bible.

Sadly and tragically, there are over one billion Catholics in the world. Roman Catholicism is the biggest religious cult on planet earth! The Russian Orthodox Catholicism comes in second as the largest cult. Catholicism is a prisonhouse of religion!!!

Do you know what Catholicism really is friend? It is a religion for unregenerate men! That is, it is the religion of choice for unsaved religious people, for those who want an elaborate religious package from the cradle to the casket! But be forewarned dear reader—religion is a sure road to Hell. Religion never saved anybody! Salvation is not found in any religion; but rather, in the person and redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ! John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

It saddens me that billions of people have been given false hope by the Vatican, falsely told that they can find salvation through the sacraments of the Catholic Church. As I should you earlier from The Dark Knight website, they teach that holiness gets you to Heaven. But what does the Bible says? Isaiah 64:6, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Your best effort to achieve holiness is filth to God! The reason why is because you cannot compensate for the sins you've already committed by cleaning up your act. This is why we are told in James 2:10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” Even committing just one sin is enough to prevent someone from entering into Heaven (1st Corinthians 6:9-11). That is why we all need a Savior!

Until Catholics repent of their DEAD WORKS (Hebrews 6:1), and instead BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31), they cannot be saved.

The Rolling Stones' Sir Mick Jagger Is Headed For Hell

1st John 4:1-5, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.”

Sir Mick Jagger (born 1943) is infamous as a rock star the world over. By age 22 he owned his own house, and a private jet to travel between concert performances. Jagger's net worth in 2023 is a staggering $500,000,000. There's not a celebrity on planet earth who is more famous than Mick Jagger. But what about his soul? Jagger has had immoral sex with more beautiful women than he can count. What the heathen world casually calls Jagger's “romance history,” the Bible calls it being a whoremonger. Hebrews 13:4, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” In 2023, Jagger is shacking up with another girlfriend.

We know that all sins can be forgiven through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, which He shed on Calvary's cross for all humanity. Tragically, Mick Jagger has made it clear to the world that He rejects Jesus Christ as his Savior. Sadly for him, Jagger refuses to take God's free gift of eternal life, which is obtained only through faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:10-12; John 14:6; Galatians 3:26-29; Philippians 3:9).

In an interview with The Independent in 2007, Jagger foolishly said at age 64:

John 1:1-3, 14 and Revelation 19:13 identify Jesus as The Word Of God. Dr. John R. Rice rightly called Jesus and the Bible “twins.” That is, there is the Living Word and the Written Word. John 1:1-3 and verse 14 teach that the inspired Word of God became incarnate in the flesh of the God-man, Jesus. Those who met and saw Jesus, met God almighty in the flesh (1st Timothy 3:16 - note this this passage has been corrupted in ALL modern Bible revisions).

According to the Jewish magazine, FORWARD, Jagger is a secretly Jewish. It is abundantly clear that Mick Jagger has no real religious beliefs, he is all over the road.

Dear reader, Jesus warned Nicodemus in John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Mick Jagger foolishly admits that he doesn't have any “belief in the Holy Book.” Woe unto Mick Jagger! The Bible has some frightening warnings for Christ rejecters...

Psalms 50:22, “Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.”

Hebrews 10:31, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

Isaiah 14:9, “Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.” 

Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

When Mick Jagger speaks, the world listens! They revere him (and all who like Jagger) sinfully blaspheme their Creator, living immoral lives and rejecting the dear Savior. The Rolling Stones have performed their worldly music in front of hundreds of millions of fans throughout their illustrious careers, since 1962 when they began.

The Rolling Stones are infamous for their horrible 1968 song titled, “Sympathy For The Devil.” This song is sung in first person form, with Mick Jagger playing none other than Satan himself. Jagger documents events through history that could be seen as “works of the devil.” The Rolling Stones took some serious public heat for singing a song from the Devil’s perspective. Although the band claims that it was never intended as Devil worship, that's like saying that the Columbine shooters never meant to kill anybody. Remember, the Devil is a beautiful liar. The serpent (Satan - Revelation 20:2) in the Garden of Eden was so adept at deception that he had Eve eager to disobey God by eating the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:6).

What saith the Scripture? ...

1st Peter 2:7-8, “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.”

It is abundantly clear that The Rolling Stones have nothing but contempt for the only begotten Son of God. If you are a born-again believer, then Jesus is precious to you. You may be living a shameful life of gross immorality as a saint, but Jesus is still precious to you because He paid for your debt of sin. The Bible considers loving Jesus synonymous with believing on Him. This is why the Apostle Paul said in 1st Corinthians 16:22, “If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.” That is, if any man doesn't want to receive Jesus as His personal Savior, let him be cursed because Jesus is coming anyway. If you have been redeemed friend by the blood of Christ, then Jesus is precious to you. Oh, the blessed Savior is precious to me! Sir Mick Jagger's Time On Earth Is Almost Over

I watched a YouTube documentary today about Jagger's healthy diet and exercise routine. The guy is remarkably healthy for being 80 years old. He turned 80 on July 26th this year. I have read umpteen internet articles about how Jagger is defying old age, and has reversed aging. Don't you believe it friend! Mick Jagger was said to be weak and frail while leaving his 80th birthday party in July. No one can stop the aging process! We are all going to die, it is just a matter of when. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Dear friend, I feel sorry for Mick Jagger, because he has been blinded by Satan (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4). The wages of sin is death, yes, but the Bible also says that THE GIFT OF GOD is eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. You don't make Jesus Lord, HE IS LORD! But unless you receive Jesus as your personal Savior, you will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, without rest or hope day and night forever (Revelation 14:11, 21:8).

I heard Jagger say this about religion...

“Like most English people I’m not a great believer,” Jagger said in a 2007 interview with The Independent. “I’ve read Richard Dawkins’ book and it’s very persuasive. I’m more in awe of the universe and that’s not really a belief in God.” Jagger has also spoken out about the harm of religion. “Killing for ideas is the most dangerous form of killing at all. Being willing to die for your ideas rather than your country is another concept, but dying for an idea, like in religion, is absurd,” Jagger said in an interview with High Times in 2003. Some sources say that Jagger practices Buddhism.

Like Mick Jagger, famous singer Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) despised organized religion, and for that matter so do I. My father used to wisely say that religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world. Dad was right! Religion is man trying to reach God through human performance and sacrifice; whereas Christianity is God trying to reach man through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son on the cross. Faith in religion never saved anybody!

Having said that, it is unfortunate that both Jagger and Sinatra obviously used the shortcomings of religion to take it a step too far, also rejecting Christianity. Throughout my life I have heard countless hellbound unbelievers blast religion, as they remind me of all the needless bloodshed and murder done in God's name. Ironically, God has the same problem with humanity, as we read in Jeremiah 7:8-10, “Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?” God is asking them why they are doing these wicked things and saying that they were doing “God's will.” Sound familiar? If Jagger and Sinatra knew God, then they would know that the Lord Himself disapproves of the killing done in His name. John 16:2, “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.”

Psalms 7:11 and John 3:36 warn that God's anger and wrath rests upon the head of every Christ-rejecter! Mick Jagger is truly living dangerously, playing Russian Roulette with his very eternal soul's fate. Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Jagger didn't make the following terrible statement in the foolishness of his youth, he made it as a 64 year old man...

It is obvious to me that Jagger thinks he already has heaven on earth, so he is not thinking ahead. Dear reader, you will die someday! We will all day eventually. The Bible warns in Proverbs 27:1, “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Let's say for the sake of argument that the Holy Book is not true. What would you have to lose by receiving Jesus as your Savior anyway? Nothing, but you'd sure have a lot to gain (Heaven, eternal bliss and happiness with the saints and angels, an immortal body, et cetera). But what if you are wrong and the Holy Book is true? You'll lose everything! God will take out His vengeance upon your soul and body in the literal fires of Hell forever! Are you willing to take that great risk?

You know, it is so ironic and tragic that a guy like Mick Jagger will eat carefully to maintain good health, and he exercises daily (and I read oftentimes runs miles a day), but then he has done nothing at all to prepare to meet God in eternity. If you are stupid enough to believe ungrateful idiots like Richard Dawkins who deny God's existence, then you are truly a fool.

The Fear of Man Ensnared King Zedekiah

Proverbs 29:25, “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.” It is in our sinful human nature to compromise and lie when danger threatens, or when any unpleasant prospect faces us. Thus, the fear of what people may think or say can, cause a person to shrink from doing what he knows is right. This was sadly the case with King Zedekiah. The king worried about what the princes under him thought.

In Jeremiah 38:24-27, we read that Zedekiah told Jeremiah to lie to the princes, when they asked what the king and Jeremiah had talked about. Zedekiah was continually worried about what his peers were thinking, but tragically he didn't care about obeying God. Likewise, Mick Jagger is concerned about what the world thinks about him, carefully choosing his words to appease his millions of fans by distancing himself from Jesus Christ.

In time, as did Zedekiah and the rich man in Hell (Luke 16:19-31), Mick Jagger will also deeply regret his foolish decision. This is what Jesus meant when He said:

Matthew 10:32-33, “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.”

This verse doesn't mean you must publicly confess Christ to be saved (as the Church of Christ cult errantly teaches), because that would contradict other plain Scripture passages (John 12:42-43; John 19:38); but it does mean that you must trust Christ to be saved.

I have known people who were rejected by their own family because they got saved. Roman Catholic families in particular are very hard on loved ones who get born-again. The Catholic religion is in direct opposition to the inspired Word of God. This is what Jesus is speaking about in the preceding passage. When you put your trust in Jesus, you won't be able to keep that a secret from loved ones, and they may reject you for it. Some people refuse to get saved because of fear of rejection from their own family, culture or tradition. I humbly think this is what “the fearful” refers to in Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Just as King Zedekiah allowed his fear of man to destroy him, his family and his entire kingdom in Jerusalem; so also are many famous people in the world today headed for everlasting damnation in the Lake of Fire because they are afraid to come to Jesus Christ, lest the world reject them. John 15:19, “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” The hellbound world absolutely loves Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones because they are of the world.

My heart goes out to Mick Jagger, because his time on earth is very short. He turned 80 in July of 2023. He cannot have much more time remaining. Unless Mick repents of his unbelief and believes the Gospel (Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection on the third day), he will split Hell wide open the moment he breathes his last breath on earth. I just prayed for Mick Jagger, that God will convict his heart to get saved before it is too late. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

No One “Believes” With Their Mind But Not Their Heart

Acts 8:35-38, “Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.”

Kindly, I am careful not to distinguish between the words "faith," "believe" and "mental assent," because they are the same thing.

There is a religious tract that I absolutely hate. It is titled, "Missing Heaven By 18 Inches" (the distance between the brain and the heart muscle). The very idea makes no sense, because our heart muscle has nothing to do with the new birth. There is no such thing as believing with the mind but not the heart. The heart is in the brain!

Having said that, it is possible to know the facts of the Gospel, but not believe (personally trust) the facts of the Gospel. But knowing some facts is not the same as "mental assent." The word "assent" means to agree. If someone agrees with the facts of the Gospel, they are saved. We need to be very careful in our choice of words in this matter of discerning between head knowledge and heart's faith.

We read in Hebrews 4:2 that Moses preached the Gospel unto the Jews wandering in the Wilderness for 40 years, but it was not mixed with faith in them that heard it, and they sadly perished and went to Hell. Those Jews were very familiar with the facts of the Gospel, since they heard it year after year from Moses. But they did not mentally assent (agree) with the Gospel, or else they would have been saved.

So, I discourage believers from trying to discern between believing with the mind versus the heart, because that is impossible. "Believing" is the wrong word to use to describe an unbeliever who is merely familiar with the facts of the Gospel. In fact, they DO NOT "believe" in their mind. To believe in one's mind is to believe in one's heart, there is no difference.

Jesus Is Our Sabbath Today, There Is No Sabbath Day Anymore

We read in Hebrews 4:10-11 that just as God ceased from His work of creation and rested on the 7th day, so also must we cease from our works and REST wholly in Jesus Christ for eternal life. Jesus is our Sabbath today, there is no Sabbath Day to observe. As we just plainly read, the Sabbath was a shadow of good things to come. One of the hottest debates on social media nowadays is the Bible truth of: ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED!

False prophets like Ray Comfort deny eternal security. Ray is a theological liar who talks out of both sides of his mouth. On his Living Waters ministry website, Ray teaches that you cannot lose eternal life once received. However, Ray totally contradicts himself when he says stupid things like the following...

What you just read is false doctrine! Ray Comfort is perverting the Gospel. How can Ray Comfort say that he believes in eternal security, while at the same time warning people that you cannot continue living in sin and know you are saved? Which is it Ray? If we must turn from sin perpetually to have assurance of salvation, then we are doomed to live a life of fear, uncertainty and worry. That is NOT eternal security!!!

First, Hebrews 10:26 is not talking about Christians living in sin; but rather, it's about the unsaved person who refuses to get saved. By not believing on Jesus Christ, a lost sinner is crucifying Jesus afresh, and there remains no other sacrifice for their sins. This is exactly what the Apostle Paul meant in 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟱:𝟰, “𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄; 𝘆𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲.” That is, if you try to earn your way to Heaven by turning from your sins (aka, keeping the law), then Christ's sacrifice on the cross is worthless to you. There is no other name than "Jesus," by which you can be saved (Acts 4:10-12).

If you can be saved by turning from your sins, then you don't need the Savior. Jesus saves sinners who rely upon His sacrifice on the cross to save them. God saves those who are 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 in His only begotten Son, He doesn't save anyone who is 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 to be saved by forsaking a lifestyle of sinning.

Second, Ray Comfort foolishly teaches the Devil's lie that, “𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗻.” What Ray fails to realize is that we all do just that—we all live in deliberate sin continually. Even when we fail to pray for others as we should, we are sinning (1st Samuel 12:23). We are all far more sinful in God's sight than we realize. That is why David prayed in 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝟭𝟵:𝟭𝟮, “𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝘀? 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀.” If there is no assurance of eternal security for those saints who indulge in a lifestyle of willful sin, then no one is saved.

Ray Comfort is caught between grace and works, preaching another gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works, which cannot produce the new birth by the Holy Spirit of God. Only wholly trusting in Jesus' name produces the new birth (John 6:40; Galatians 3:26). Only believing the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection on the third day produces the new birth (1st Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:16). Nowhere does the inspired King James Bible tell us to turn from our sinful ways, or repent “of your sins” to be saved.

When the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas in Acts 16:30b, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?,” their simply answer in Verse 31b was, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...” There is no mention of Paul and Silas telling the man to repent of his sins, or to turn from his sins. To be saved, you repent of the one thing that hinders a man from being saved, and that is the sin of UNBELIEF. That is the only sin you must repent (change your mind) about to be saved—UNBELIEF.

Please notice in Matthew 21:32, “For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.” Notice that Jesus said they didn't repent to BELIEVE the Gospel truth preached by John the Baptist. Jesus didn't say that they failed to repent from their sinning. Wicked unlearned preachers have added words to the Bible which God did not author (Proverbs 30:5-6).

Tragically, less than 1% of believers today care about what I have just shared with you. This is why I incessantly preach on this important topic. I don't just write here in Facebook to teach a couple dozen Christian people, I copy and paste these posts into my blog articles for thousands to read. I learned as a boy from my father that you catch more fish if you put multiple fishing lines into the water. My Dad used to use 5 fishing poles at once (and he caught more fish). I stayed busy taking the fish off the lines and rebaiting the hooks for my Dad. Those were the good ole days.

Dear reader, we all need to make a fuss today about unlearned and incompetent preachers who are telling lost sinners to turn from their sinning to be saved, because that is one of the biggest lies ever told by the Devil. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. Michael P. Bowen makes that true statement in his helpful book titled, "I NEVER KNEW YOU."

The inspired Word of God teaches: “ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED,” which means you can go out and live like the Devil and still know 100% that you are saved.

“'You can't tell me you can trust Christ as Savior, and then go out here and live like the Devil, and still go to Heaven!' Yes, I can tell you that! That's what the Bible says. If you don't come to the conclusion, that—Yes, you can trust Christ as your Savior and live like the Devil, and still go to Heaven when you die—you don't get grace, because that is the exact truth! That is the truth! I do not have to change my life! I don't have to stop one sin! You say, 'I've never heard a preacher say that.' You just heard one! And you listen to me—I want to live as holy and as godly as I possibly can. I am now 70 years old. What saith the Scripture? Romans 6:1-2, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” The Lord doesn't want us to flagrantly continue living a lifestyle of sin, but if we do God's grace will much more abound, so that we can NEVER lose God's free gift of eternal life. Romans 5:20-21, “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

At the moment you are saved, God seals you permanently with His Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). No amount of sinfulness in your character and life in any way dismisses your salvation. Remember, it is really God's salvation. That is why dozens of times in the Psalms we read King David speak of “Thy salvation” or “Thy righteousness.” David understood that salvation is of the Lord. Psalms 13:5, “But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.”

Dear friend, if you have to look at your life to prove you are saved, it just proves that you're not! I am saved because as a 13 year old teenager in 1980, I trusted Jesus as my personal Savior. It was a Sunday summer morning in an old-fashioned Baptist church. The pastor gave an invitation at the end of his sermon. By faith I received Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for my sins, believing that after He was buried, Jesus physically resurrected three days later from the dead. I trusted Christ to save me and He did.

The way that I choose to live has absolutely NOTHING to do with my eternal security, nor do I have to live a certain way to prove to God or myself that I am saved. The Apostle James teaches in his Epistle that we need to show our faith by our works (James 2:17-21). But the Apostle Paul in Romans teaches that we are justified in the sight of God only by faith (Romans 4:1-7). Many Bible students get these two books confused, mixing grace with works. Ray Comfort is bad news! He is unlearned in the Scriptures, wresting the inspired Word of God to his own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16-17). Thank you for reading my blog.
