The Gospel Mindset

Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.”

The Devil is a beautiful liar, subtle and shrewd in his methods of deception. The Devil knows that the best way to confuse someone, and thus obscure the truth, is to put forth multiple similar but conflicting stories. This explains why we see hundreds of English Bible versions today. This explains why we see dozens of variations of God's plan of salvation in the churches. This explains why every major news story involving a suspect false flag terror attack revolves around multiple different stories.

Religion wants to fit us with glasses, but the Lord wants to open our eyes! Thank God for the truth of His precious Word, which is a lamp unto our feet. Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” America's churches influence the world, so if Satan can corrupt our churches here at home, then he can corrupt the world. The United States sends out more missionaries than any other nation. Sadly, there is MUCH heresy and false teaching circulating on the radio, television and in our churches nowadays concerning what a person must do to be saved.

What exactly is the Gospel? The word “Gospel” means “Good News” or “Glad Tidings.” There is no need to guess what the “Gospel” is because the Bible plainly tells us. The “Gospel” is the Good News of Christ's DEATH on the cross for our sins, His BURIAL and bodily RESURRECTION three days later:
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
We are saved by BELIEVING “the Gospel,” which is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” It is that simple to be saved. If you admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight, and you receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, and bodily resurrected three days later, and that is your only hope for eternal life, then YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY, SECURELY AND FOREVER SAVED!!! This is the proper Gospel mindset. Anything else is not Bible salvation!

Kindly, the following preachers have ANOTHER GOSPEL: John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron, Paul Washer, Jon Piper, William Lane Craig, Charles Lawson, Beth Moore, Jimmy Swaggart, John Hagee, Joel Osteen, Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Jack Chick, David Cloud, Pat Robertson, Don Blackwell, Dan Corner, Brian Derringer, Charles Stanley. And then there is a corrupt group of preachers who believe that people in the Old Testament were required to do works to be saved; such as, William P. Grady and Peter S. Ruckman. All these men preach ANOTHER GOSPEL that is not the Gospel.

One of my favorite men of God, Pastor Hank Lindstrom (1940-2008), preached a monumental sermon titled, “How Permanent Is Your Salvation?” The basic gist of the sermon is to ask every person who claims to be saved, the following question: Is there anything you could ever do to lose your salvation? If their answer is “yes,” then the person is not saved, because they have the wrong mindset and do not understand the Gospel. A person who is truly saved, fully understands that salvation has absolutely NOTHING to do with them self, and that Jesus paid the full price for our sins with His precious blood. 1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” This is the Gospel mindset.

If a person believes that even the slightest amount of human effort is necessary to merit eternal life, then they are not born-again! Jesus paid it all! I once witnessed to a professed Christian man, a school teacher at the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. I kindly asked him if admitting one's guilt as a sinner and believing the Gospel is enough to be saved. He said, “Ah, I think there needs to be a little bit more.” His reply clearly evidenced to me that he is in fact, not saved.

Upon further interview I discovered that he foolishly thinks a person needs to turn away from deliberate sinful behavior to be saved. Where did he get that false idea? I have no doubt that he heard it from any one of the corrupt preachers that I just named. People have a woeful weakness of going by what they hear. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” I am in agreement with the inspired Word of God on the Gospel.

Kindly, if you think that water baptism is necessary to get to Heaven, you are not going! If you think that a Catholic priest or Lutheran minister can forgive your sins, you are going to Hell when you die. If you think that living a good life impresses God, and that is your hope for eternal life, then you will perish in your sins when you die and spend the rest of eternity tormented in the Lake of Fire. The Roman Catholic Church is a prisonhouse of religion! Hell is filled with sincere Catholics, who bought into the Satanic lie that they could get to Heaven through sacraments. Salvation is not found in any religion, but in a Person—The Lord Jesus Christ!

There is only one proper way of thinking, that produces the new birth by the Holy Spirit of God, and that is faith alone in the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ. Salvation has always been through faith in the Messiah. Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The Gospel is so simple. In fact, it is even called “the simplicity that is in Christ” in 2nd Corinthians 11:3-4. Having to forsake one's sinful ways to be saved is anything but “simple.” If a person must forsake lifelong sinful bad habits to be saved, or even try to cease from sinning, then we're all going to Hell.

Do you have a proper Gospel mindset? If a born-again believer went out and murdered 1,000 people, God forbid, they would still have eternal life. The reason why is because you don't get saved by doing good works, nor can you be lost by doing bad works! How can you lose that which was not yours to give in the first place? “Salvation is of the LORD” (Jonah 2:9b). A Christian falls IN GRACE, never FROM GRACE. Only the Christ-rejecter falls FROM GRACE! When we have sinned as Christians, “grace did much more abound” (Romans 5:20b).

Put another way, the only difference between the holiest saint and the vilest sinner upon the face of the earth, is the precious saving-blood of the Lord Jesus Christ! It is the Gospel (the blessed Good News) of Christ's death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection three days later, that is my only hope for the forgiveness of my sins, eternal life and a family in Heaven.

2nd Peter 2:1, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies...”

Hell Is A Literal Place Of Everlasting Torment, Loneliness And Suffering

Matthew 25:46, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Revelation 14:11, And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Revelation 20:12-15, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

I am amazed and saddened how many people reject the truth of Hell. Even professed Christians, like Miss Renee Roland on YouTube, boldly deny the reality of everlasting punishment. Kindly said, Renee doesn't believe the Holy Bible. Our text passages above very clearly teach that there is a place of everlasting punishment. Matthew 25:46, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

The Seventh-Day Adventist and Jehovah's Witness religious cults deny the reality of eternal punishment. SDA's and JW's teach the false doctrine of annihilation instead. That is, they believe that when an unrighteous person dies, they cease to be conscious or exist. This is unscriptural. Psalms 9:17, The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” The Bible plainly warns that the wicked shall be turned into Hell.

I used to work as a truck mechanic in the late 1980's and early 1990's, working my way through Bible college. I had a shop foreman who was a Mormon, named Chuck. One day Chuck came up to me, as soon as I clocked into work, handing me a piece of paper with some Bible verses written on it. Chuck knew that I was going to Bible college to become a Baptist preacher. He kindly said that if I studied those Bible passages, I would see that “hell” in the Old Testament simply refers to the “grave” (Hebrew: Sheol), not a place of eternal damnation and torment. Mormons also don't believe in eternal torture in a literal place called “Hell.”

But dear reader, consider this truth—if the righteous and the wicked go to the same place, then Psalms 9:17 makes absolutely no sense! Psalms 9:17, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” What would be the point if this Bible verse if the saved (righteous)  and the unsaved (unrighteous) go to the same place? Obviously then, the implication is 100% clear that the unrighteous DO NOT go to the same place that the righteous do. The word “Sheol” refers to THE REALM OF THE DEAD, which means more than merely the grave. Sheol refers to the place where the dead go, but this does not limit the meaning to exclude Heaven or Hell. If I say that someone went to the store, it doesn't mean that everyone went to the same store!

So in the context of Psalms 9:17, we see clearly that the righteous and the wicked go to DIFFERENT places after they die. Matthew 25:46, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Again, we see that the wicked and the righteous do to SEPERATE places in eternity (i.e., Heaven or Hell). There is no such place as Purgatory, which is a fabrication of the Roman Catholic church. The doctrine of Purgatory was first established by Gregory the Great in the year 593 AD.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but no one has a right to their own facts! The Bible is very factual that Hell is a literal place that burns with fire and brimstone (sulfur), where the damned (all Christ rejecters) will suffer in torment in fire and smoke for all eternity without rest day nor night. The way of escape if through faith in the precious Savior Jesus Christ. John 17:3, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

The Bible has more to say about Hell than it does about Heaven. It saddens me that so many people shirk off the inspired Holy Bible, as did the rich man who went to Hell:
Luke 16:28-31, “For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”
As we just read, if a person won't heed the written Holy Bible, then they are doomed. God won't send an angel to convince you further. God won't perform a miracle to satisfy your doubts. God won't provide any further proof of His existence than nature (Psalms 19:1-3; Romans 1:20). The inspired King James Bible is all you need and all you're going to get from God to prepare you for eternity. If you reject God's free offer of forgiveness of sins and eternal life, then you cannot blame God. 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”
Why is Hell so awful? ...
  • Hell is the Opposite of who God is; it is life Without God.
  • Hell is Darkness because God is Light.
  • Hell is Torment because God is Comfort
  • Hell is Distress because God is Peace.
  • Hell is Misery/Depression because God is Joy
  • Hell is No Air because God is the Breath of Life
  • Hell is No Love because God is Love
  • Hell is No rest because God is Rest.
  • Hell is Burning Fire and extreme thirst because God is Living Water
  • Hell is Loneliness because God is Companionship
  • Hell is Eternal Death because God is Eternal Life.
Please don't go to Hell forever! If you want to be saved, simply LOOK TO JESUS. Please read, “

The Greatest Sin Today Is Preachers Who Don't Contend For The Faith

Ephesians 5:10-11, “Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Titus 1:10-14, “For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.” Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

I believe the greatest sin that is destroying the United States today is ungodly, weak, shallow, disobedient and cowardly pastors who refuse to contend for the faith. I'm talking about shallow guys like Jeff Redlin and Timothy Zacharias, pastors at Campus Church on the property of Pensacola Christian College (PCC). I'm talking about Sean Quinlan, former incompetent pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam. I'm talking about the new Hyles-Anderson College crowd today, who no longer expose the Devil's counterfeit Bibles, and have gone the same impotent direction as PCC and other deadbeat institutions.

I am not trying to be unkind, I am making a needful point. Pastors today are no longer preachers. They don't preach with fire and zeal. They don't preach against sin or false prophets. And if they do, they refuse to call any names. I attended Campus Church for the whole summer of 2021 and never heard a word preached against heretical Bible colleges, false churches or any deadly false prophets. None of the shameful names I have mentioned contend for the Christian faith; but in fact, they have all shamefully belittled me as a preacher for having the faithfulness and courage to do what they wont, which is “TO STAND” (Ephesians 6:13). There is something very wrong with the PCC camp and there always has been, because they refuse to get their hands dirty and take a stand against sin, false doctrines and false prophets!!! Well, I am taking a Biblical stand against them, to their utter shame!!!

I did hear the incompetent pastors at PCC endorse false prophet Ken Ham, who is wrong about a young earth and worst of all, wrong on the Gospel. According to Ken Ham, you must repent and turn away from your sinning to get to Heaven, which is a lie of the Devil. Jesus came to save us from our sins, not expect us to try to stop sinning to help save our selves. Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches to repent “of your sin” to be saved. Wicked preachers added those extra requirements. What did Paul and Silas tell the Roman soldier who asked how to be saved. Acts 16:31, “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Dear reader, RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! The biggest problem in the Bible colleges and churches today are that no one wants TO STAND!!! They just want to collect their paychecks, get along with everyone, avoid conflict and controversy, and bury their heads in the sand like an ostrich.

I am not a perfect anything, but I have faithfully STOOD for the past 20 years online. Meanwhile, cowards like Pastor Jeff Redlin shamefully criticize people like me, for doing what he is either too incompetent, lazy or inept to do (or all of the above). Truth matters! I said TRUTH MATTERS!!! Someone needs to expose the Calvinist Bob Jones University crowd. Someone needs to expose Dr. Steve Pettit and his damnable counterfeit plan of salvation. I know assuredly that God is proud of me, for taking a stand against evil, as He commands believers to do in Titus 1:10-14. Shame on Jeff Redlin and Pensacola Christian College for wimping out! They are A.W.O.L. from the battle of the age over the inspiration and purity of the Holy Bible. Sadly, PCC couldn't care less, avoiding the issues. All they care about is making money to pay their mortgages and car payments. It is sickening (Revelation 3:15-17).

If It Is Not In Writing, It Means Nothing

Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

Our text Bible passage teaches for all men to LET GOD BE TRUE, BUT EVERY MAN A LIAR. That naturally raises the $64,000 question: “How do we know what God says, versus what man says?” The answer is the Holy Bible. Jesus Himself exhorted everyone in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

I was listening to false prophetess' Joyce Meyer earlier today. She is very WRONG on God's simple plan of salvation, instead preaching another gospel:

“When you're born-again, you admit that you're a sinner. You ask God to forgive your sins. And you invite Him to come and live in your heartYou must be willing to turn away from sin. You don't just receive and kind of tack Him on to your mess like a magic charm. You'd have to be willing to turn away from sin. You can't do it on your own. But if you're willing to do it, God will help you and He will teach you how to live the way that He wants you to live.” [emphasis added] —Joyce Meyer, “How Do I Get To Heaven” (13:36 time in video)

Joyce Meyer further heretically teaches:

“If you've never received Christ as your Savior. You've never invited Him to come into your life. You've never come to that point of saying, 'I am a miserable sinner, and God I do need you, I cannot help myself.' Then you need to surrender tonight—and that's really what it's all about—it's about surrender! It's about letting God get into the driver's seat of your life. It's about you discontinuing trying to run the show, and telling God what all your plans are. It's you giving Him the reigns, and saying: 'You lead and I'll follow.'” [emphasis added] —Joyce Meyer, “How Do I Get To Heaven” (22:00 time in video)

Now dear friend, I triple-dog dare you to show me any of the garbage theology which Joyce Meyer preaches from the inspired King James Bible. Remember, if it's not in writing it means absolutely nothing! Where did Miss Meyer get all that junk? She sure didn't find it in the Holy Bible!!! I cannot warn everyone enough to mark and avoid Joyce Meyer and her circus of a pathetic ministry (Romans 16:17-18; Matthew 7:15). She just pulls manmade commandments out of her hate, fully rejecting the Word of God. Mark 7:7 and 8, “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. ...And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” Joyce Meyer is making stuff up!

Show me where the inspired Holy Bible teaches to be saved, we must:

  1. Follow Christ
  2. Invite Jesus to come and life in your heart
  3. Be willing to turn away from your sin
  4. Discontinue trying to run the show
  5. Give God the reigns of control of your life
  6. Surrender
  7. Let God get into the driver's seat of your life
  8. You lead, I'll follow
Ladies and gentlemen, you may do all of those things and never be born-again at all. What saith the Scripture? We don't need to wonder, debate or guess what “the gospel” is, because the Bible plainly defines the GOOD NEWS for us:
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
There we have it, “the Gospel is comprised of three things:
  1. Christ DIED on the cross to pay for our sins.
  2. He was BURIED.
  3. Three days later Jesus bodily RESURRECTED from the dead.
That is the Gospel (i.e., Good News) by which we are saved, if we BELIEVE. Romans 1:16-17, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. I didn't see any mention about surrendering all to God, turning away from your sins, following Christ, getting out of the driver's seat, inviting Jesus to come into our life, nor anything else!!! Joyce Meyer is a bold-faced theological liar!!! ...
Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Please do not take my word for it dear reader. You the reader must decide for yourself who is telling THE TRUTH, and who is lying. I already showed you 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 which clearly defines “the gospel” as Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. One of my favorite Bible verses is 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” Here again we plainly see THE GOSPEL, how that Christ died and raised up the third day.

Let us also consider a Roman soldier who humbly asked Paul and Silas what to do to be saved. Acts 16:30b-31, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Paul and Silas simply told the soldier to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Paul didn't tell the man to turn away from his sinning. Silas didn't tell the soldier to follow Christ, surrender all, get out of the driver's seat, invite Jesus to come into his heart and life, et cetera. No, Paul and Silas just told him to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Again, please consider a group of hungry people who had followed Jesus in boats from Tiberias to Capernaum, seeking a handout of provisions from Jesus:
John 6:26-29, “Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
I love it! They plainly asked Christ what works to do to get into the Kingdom of God. Jesus replied that the only “work” God wanting from them to be saved is to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! Hey, that is the exact same answer that Paul and Silas gave to the Roman soldier in Acts 16:30-31. Dear friend, the Bible couldn't be more plainer that salvation comes to the one who BELIEVES the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen the third day. You get saved by believing the GOOD NEWS, not by forsaking a lifestyle of sin or surrendering control of your life over to God. The Devil is a beautiful liar! Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again. Joyce Meyer has perverted the Gospel into a lifestyle that you must live to get to Heaven.

Remember, if it's not in writing it means nothing! Any attorney worth his stuff knows this. Any competent businessman will tell you that everything must be in writing to be valid. That is why God put His simple plan of salvation into writing. That is why Jesus told us in John 5:39 to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!! John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. Carefully notice that the Apostle John emphasized that he wrote THESE THINGS to convince the reader that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God, so that by BELIEVING you will be saved.

Again, carefully notice that the Apostle Paul emphasizes the written Word of God:

Romans 10:11-13, “For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Paul is citing an Old Testament passage from Isaiah 28:16 in Romans 10:11. This verse is not saying that if you are saved you won't be ashamed of Jesus' name. Peter was ashamed, even denying and cursing the Lord's precious name. In Acts 10:42-43 the Bible says many chief rulers believed on Jesus, but they did not confess Him for fear of the wicked Pharisees. The Bible says that those saved chief rulers loved the praise of men more than God. But they were still redeemed adopted sons of God by faith in Christ (Galatians 3:26).

I have humbly shown you numerous Scripture passages, which plainly teach that we are saved by faith alone in the Good News of Christ crucified, buried and risen. None of these Scripture passages require that someone surrender control of their life over to God, nor that someone turn away from their sins, nor that we invite Jesus to come into our life. Judas became a Christ follower and went to burn in the fires of Hell forever! Matthew 27:3 says that Judas “repented himself of his sins, but that didn't convert him into a Christian. You don't get saved by doing ANY of the things which Joyce Meyer sinfully preaches. The Devil loves Miss Meyer, because the unsaved religious masses are being blinded with a counterfeit plan of salvation, which does not match the Bible's plan of salvation.

Acts 10:43, “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Dear reader, only YOU personally can determine what you believe to be THE TRUTH. I am not asking you to believe me. I am asking you to compare what I have plainly shown you from the inspired Word of God, to what Joyce Meyer is teaching. What is the basis of her fraudulent theological claims? She sure didn't get those ideas from the Bible. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. If what I am preaching agrees with the written Word of God, then my preaching against Joyce Meyer as a false prophet will be vindicated and justified someday in eternity. Any doctrinal opinion that disagrees with God's opinion is heresy!

Here is a great quote from Dr. Curtis Hutson:
“Faith and repentance are the same; they are not two separate decisions. One cannot trust Christ as Savior without repenting or changing his mind. The very fact that he trusts Christ for salvation shows that he has changed his mind regarding sin, salvation, and God.” —Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995); 'Salvation Crystal Clear'
Dear reader, YOU HAVE GOD'S PROMISE IN WRITING in the Bible!!! John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” That is a solemn promise from God. Anyone who puts their faith (trust, confidence, reliance) in the only begotten Son of God, is saved. The garbage which Miss Joyce Meyer is preaching has no authority behind it. She is talking trash!

If you don't know what you are talking about Joyce, keep your mouth shut! And if you do open your mouth, you'd better be able to back up what you are saying. Joyce has no Scriptural basis for her corrupt teachings. I have quoted you Bible verses to support everything I have taught you. I am as narrow-minded as the Holy Bible!!!

The Deadly Counterfeit Gospel Of 'Focus On The Family'

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” Luke 13:23-24, “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”

The inherent human nature is wicked, prone to arrogance and pride, with a tendency to add human effort to the Gospel. It is frightening! As is often the case, I couldn't sleep early in the morning so I got up to do some ministry work. It is now 5 am. I was sickened just now as I read the corrupt plan of salvation of Focus On The Family (FOTF):
The Greek word translated “believe” in the passage is pisteuo, meaning “to believe, put one’s faith in, trust, with an implication that actions based on that trust may follow.” Belief, then, encompasses more than just knowing about Jesus. One must also act on this knowledge, combining faith and trust and acting on it. Salvation also entails repentance – a sincere willingness to radically change our behavior (see, for instance Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Mark 6:12; Luke 13:3-5; Acts 2:38). [emphasis added] SOURCE: 'What Must I Do To Be Saved?'
Unreal! Where did FOTF get all that extra garbage from? Do you see how they sinfully ADD the bizarre claim that believing “implies” further actions are required to get to Heaven? FOTF is of the Devil. GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN! FOTF falsely claims that to be saved you must first agree to RADICALLY CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR. They are theological liars!

Dear reader, anything can be justified. Anything can be justified if you are desperate enough to wrestle the Scriptures to your own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16-17). The inspired Holy Bible plainly lays out the Gospel for us to understand:
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
The Gospel (or GOOD NEWS) is three things:
  1. Jesus died on the cross to pay our debt of sin.
  2. He was buried.
  3. Three days later Jesus physically resurrected from the dead.
This is the Gospel, by which all who BELIEVE are saved. Romans 1:16, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Nothing is taught in the Word of God about submitting to a radical change of behavior. I am so sick and tired of hearing corrupt preachers pervert God's simple plan of salvation, turning something profoundly simple into something utterly complicated. ...

I attended Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) for the summer of 2021. I was horrified as I sat in church and heard Assistant Pastor Timothy Zacharias preach damnable heresy, teaching that “Repentance is a change of mind resulting in a change of behavior.” Pastor Zacharias spoke with authority like he knows what he is talking about, but he hasn't a clue, woefully ignorant of Bible repentance. Here is a heretical screenshot from Campus Church (I added the cancellation symbol to warn others)...

Damnable Heresy Preached on July 14th, 2021
At Pensacola Christian College (PCC)

Dear reader, anytime someone attaches behavior modification to the free gift of God, they have perverted the grace of God, and in so doing have attacked the God of grace. Sadly, when I kindly confronted Senior Pastor Jeff Redlin on July 15, 2021 about this blatant heresy being taught at Campus Church, he shamefully confirmed that this is their official dogma. The above screenshot is an actual picture of their Foundation's Class at PCC's Campus Church. I added the cancellation symbol to warn others. Folks, RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

I am tired of being labeled as THE BAD GUY for telling the simple truth. Then again, the Apostle Paul was also turned into THE BAD GUY for doing the same righteous thing, TELLING THE TRUTH. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.” It gets much worse! The Bob Jones University (BJU) crowd preach hardcore Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation), and PCC sinfully bids them Godspeed (2nd John 1:11). Please say it ain't so! Sadly, I speak THE TRUTH to their utter shame.

Kindly said, Pastor Jeff Redlin has a problem with pride and succumbing to false doctrine. If he had any class whatsoever and honesty as a clergy member, Redlin would apologize to me as a preacher and let me know that Campus Church has corrected their false teaching. Unfortunately, these wicked men are arrogant, stiffnecked, haughty and arrogant. They get paid ridiculously high undeserved 6-digit salaries for being so-called “ministers” (servants). Do you know how much money I've made for my 40,000 hours of website ministry labors since 2002? That's right, NOTHING! I do what I do freely because I love God, people, righteousness and truth! I ain't for sale!!!

Just like Focus On The Family (FOTF), Pensacola Christian College (PCC) sinfully preaches that your behavior must change if you want to get to Heaven. This Satanic salvation by behavior modification heresy has subtly crept into multitudes of Bible colleges and churches today, and it is spiritually lethal. I visited two local Baptist churches in Pensacola, Florida over the past two weeks, and both senior pastors got up behind the pulpit and said that to be saved you've got to BECOME A CHRIST FOLLOWER! Folks, Judas followed Christ, being one of Jesus' very apostles, but he still died in his sins and went straight to Hell forever. You don't get saved by following the Lord, you must BELIEVE ON HIM as your Savior (Matthew 7:21-23). John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

BEWARE of anyone who speaks of “following Christ” to be saved. You don't have to follow Jesus anywhere dear friend to be born-again, you simply just need to BELIEVE that He did it for you. That is, because Jesus paid for your ticket to Heaven, Jesus willingly sacrificed His broken body and shed blood on the cross to pay your debt of sin, and mine. The blessed Savior was taken down from the cross, prepared according to Jewish customs, and buried by Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. Three days later Jesus bodily resurrected from the dead for our justification (i.e., Jesus justified our faith in Him, not letting us down in any way).

Focus On The Family has no right Biblically to require people to radically change our behavior in order to receive God's free gift of eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is shameful what is being errantly taught everywhere today. I can only concur with one of Jesus' inquisitive disciples, who wanted to know if hardly anyone is saved. Luke 13:23-24, Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. The dear Savior confirmed the disciple's suspicion, yes, there are few that be saved.

A Reward Is Not A Gift

Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

We live in a very dishonest, greedy and manipulative culture in the United States. It is sickening how greedy businesses have become, gouging people financially. I rented a car for $210 for three days at the Pensacola airport. I needed the car for just one more day, so I called the phone number on my contract. The unpleasant woman on the phone demanded $192 for just ONE DAY! She said that I had entered into a weekly rate and would have to pay for the entire week, even if I just needed the car for one more day.

Ladies and gentlemen, that is unethical, greedy and downright wicked. You see, ungodly rental car agencies fully know that many people are likely to need the vehicle they rented for another day, so the companies take advantage of people, effectively stealing their money. Yes, rental car agencies are THIEVES!!! When they advertise a rent car for $27, they aren't including all the extra fees, taxes and insurance, which when added will cost you $97 per day! Liars and thieves! This is America today!!!

I'm sure you've also seen the bank advertisements, which try to lure you to open a bank account to get a “FREE” toaster, or something else “FREE.” They are liars! In fact, they are giving you a REWARD (in this case a toaster) in exchange for opening a new bank account at their institution. If you don't open a new account you don't get the toaster, so how is that free?

Another example is Roku, Filmrise and Crackle. They all advertise “FREE” movies, but then you are required to sit there and watch their stupid annoying 1 to 8 commercials (usually about 5 of them) every 10 minutes. I just turn the volume down. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I exit and leave, to go watch one of my Blu-ray movies instead with no commercials. In fact, NONE of those movies are “FREE,” because you had to exchange your time in payment to watch them. Any good businessman will tell you that time is money, and money is time. When you go to work, they are paying you for your time. Sometimes companies will even allow you to sell back your vacation time for cash, especially if they need you to work longer hours and days. So Roku, Filmrise and Crackle are all dirty LIARS!!!

Americans have become so greedy, manipulative and dishonest. In Pensacola where I moved to last summer, there are thug lawyer billboards everywhere, like packs of greedy ravening dogs, just waiting for their next victim, some rich guy who won't know what hit him. Lawyers always go after anybody with deep pockets, because they are thieves who manipulate the law to their greedy advantage. It is shameful.

Dear reader, beware of anyone who ever tells you that faith is not enough to be saved. One of my favorite preachers, Dr. Curtis Hutson made this helpful statement:

“Faith and repentance are the same; they are not two separate decisions. One cannot trust Christ as Savior without repenting or changing his mind. The very fact that he trusts Christ for salvation shows that he has changed his mind regarding sin, salvation, and God.” —Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995)

Oh how I wish that the Bob Jones University (BJU) camp understood this Bible truth. Dr. Hutson further offers these helpful words explaining the correct meaning of Luke 13:5...

In Luke 13:5 Jesus said, “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” The context of this verse shows that they needed to repent or change their mind regarding punishment and sin. In this passage, Christ was talking to good people who believed that people suffered only because of their sins, and they concluded that those in Galilee whose blood Pilate mingled with sacrifices and those on whom the tower of Siloam fell were greater sinners because they died such horrible deaths. Jesus contradicts the thinking of these self-righteous people and tells them that they need to repent or change their mind and see themselves as sinners, too, or they will perish in their own self-righteousness.
One does not have to know the Greek language to see that “repent” in this passage does not mean feeling sorry for or turning from sin. [emphasis added]
SOURCE: Pastor Curtis Hutson, 'Repentance: What Does The Bible Say?'

Many proponents of Lordship Salvation cite Luke 13:5 to support their heresy. There is not one verse in the Bible which teaches to repent of sin or turn away from sin to be saved. We are simply taught to “...BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST... (Acts 16:30-31).

When a group of people asked Jesus how to get to Heaven, the dear Savior simply told them to BELIEVE ON HIM. John 6:28-29, Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” Again and again in the inspired King James Bible we see the simplicity that is in Christ. We see that the only thing that God requires to be saved is to BELIEVE THE GOOD NEWS. The Gospel is not open to embellishment. There is a certain degree of allowable semantics in presenting God's plan of salvation, but the Gospel itself is set in concrete! Here it is:

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

There you have it—Jesus DIED, was BURIED, and miraculously RESURRECTED three days later. There is no mention of turning away from sins, forsaking the old ways for good, following Christ, speaking in tongues, getting water baptized, joining a church, praying, confessing Jesus publicly, running the race, nor of anything else to be saved! The apostle Paul said this is 'THE GOSPEL,' which Jesus personally gave to Him.

Galatians 1:11-12, “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

Moses And The Brass Serpent

John 3:14-16, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Jesus relays to Nicodemus the story of the Brass Serpent in the Old Testament as a picture of His crucifixion, the remedy for sin, and how to have eternal life. Below is an excerpt from an article written many years ago by the late Pastor Hank Lindstrom (1940-2008):

A Serpent was the reminder and emblem of the curse. It was through the Serpent [Satan] that Adam and Eve were seduced, and brought under the curse of God. On the cross, Jesus Christ was made a curse for us. Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.”

A BRASS SERPENT - Why brass? In the symbolism of Scripture brass is the emblem of Divine Judgment. In Revelation 1:5 Christ is seen as a Judge in His second coming. “His feet were like fine brass.” When Israel was disobedient God told them, “And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron (Deuteronomy 28:23).”

The “serpent” spoke of the curse which sin brought. The “brass” speaks of the judgment of God falling on the One [Jesus Christ] made to be sin for us.
II Corinthians 5:21

A POLE - The pole speaks of the cross. As the serpent was lifted up on the pole, so Christ was lifted up on a cross. “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me This he said, signifying what death he should die (John 12:32,33).” God told Moses to make a fiery serpent of brass, fix it on a pole, and invite the bitten Israelites to look on it and they should live. It is obvious that Moses was preaching to them the GOSPEL OF HIS GRACE.

SEVEN THINGS WHICH THE ISRAELITES WERE NOT TOLD TO DO!

Religion vs. Christianity

1. They were not told to make a serum to cure them of the snake's poison. Religion would offer the serum of good works, church membership, keeping the commandments, baptism, etc.

2. They were not told to help others who were bitten in order to get relief for themselves. Religion would tell us to engage in works of charity with the expectation that giving relief to others will counteract the deadly virus of sin which is at work in our own souls. This is the Mother Teresa philosophy. She would point people to good works as the cure and not faith alone in Jesus.

3. They were not told to fight the serpents. Many religious leaders would lead us off to exterminate the Serpents. What use would this have been to those who were already bitten and dying? All these crusades provide an outlet for the energy of the flesh, but often they do not bring those bitten to a saving knowledge of Christ.

4. They were not told to make an offering to the serpent on the pole. God did not ask for any payment from them in return for their healing. Grace ceases to be grace if any price is paid for what it brings. How often the gospel is perverted on this very point. The Christian religion [counterfeit] saying, “Give your life to Christ” is an example!

5. They were not told to pray to the serpent. Religion would have the bitten person pleading with God for mercy and forgiveness, which God has already offered to those that believe. Many have made the fatal mistake of substituting prayer for faith in Christ. Remember “faith alone in Christ alone”. When they prayed for relief, God didn't take away the snakes or snake bites [the penalty for their sin], but He provided a remedy for the penalty.

6. They were not told to look at Moses. They had been looking to Moses, and urging him to cry to God on their behalf; and when God responded, He took their eyes from off Moses, and commanded them to look at the brazen serpent [Numbers 21:7]. Moses was the lawgiver and many today are looking to him for salvation. This is religion! They are trusting in their imperfect obedience to God's commandments to take them to heaven. The Bible states, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us (Titus 3:5).”

7. They were not told to look at their wounds. Some think that they need to be more occupied with the work of examining their own wicked hearts in order to promote a religiousness that they deem necessary to qualify us for heaven. Religion can't save. Only Christ can save! The Israelites were simply told to look at the brazen serpent raised up on a pole. Numbers 21:8 says, “it shall come to pass, that everyone that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.”
Religion by definition is man doing something of himself to bind himself back to God. This is why religion can never save. Only Jesus can save!

A Wonderful Passage Of Scripture

2nd Timothy 2:8-13, “Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

I was reading the blessed inspired King James Bible today, and my heart burned with joy as I gleaned this precious passage from 2nd Timothy 2:8-13. Let me share some observations I see in this passage with you dear friend:

  1. We are saved by faith in the Gospel. Here we see in Verse 8 the “gospel” mentioned. Jesus' bodily resurrection is a part of the Gospel, or “Good News” by which we are saved, all those who believe it (Romans 1:16). Many religious tracts are so poorly written that they don't even contain Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection. Something is not “the Gospel” unless it contains these three elements.
  2. Paul suffered for preaching the Gospel. Paul suffered, as we read in Verse 9 for preaching this Gospel. John Bunyan (1628-1688) was imprisoned for 12 years for preaching the Gospel. The Devil loves empty religion, charitable organizations and lifeless churches, just so long as the true Gospel is not preached (2nd Corinthians 3-4).
  3. Paul was glad to suffer because he knew it meant more people would get saved. Paul was glad to suffer because he knew it was having an eternal impact getting lost sinners saved. I challenge discouraged Christians to start sharing the Gospel everywhere they go, and you will find a new found source of peace and joy in your life. Also, it is important to be connected with a local Bible-believing, soul-winning church. I get so frustrated by local churches nowadays, because less than .002% of churches (1 in 500) actually go door-to-door soulwinning (Acts 20:20). We call acts 20:20 “the believer's 20/20 vision.”
  4. Those who suffer with Christ will also reign with Him in eternity. We're in this together. That is why Jesus said in Matthew 25:40, 45 that whatever someone does (or doesn't do) to a believer, they have done it to Christ Himself. The day we got saved our life became hidden with Jesus' life in God (Colossians 3:1-3). In salvation we are dead with Christ, and raised up in newness of eternal life. We already have eternal life. That is why the Apostle Paul exhorts us to LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE. Grab the bull by the horns dear friend, and ride it for all you can!!! 1st Timothy 6:19, “Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. I feel sorry for all the covetous people being deceived by Dave Ramsey (backup MP3), investing for the riches of this temporary life. Not me buddy, I'm laying up treasures in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-20).
  5. No One who Goes to Hell Someday Can Blame God. 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” Titus 2:11 says that the GRACE OF GOD that brings salvation hath appeared unto ALL men. God never allowed anyone to be cast into Hell except those who chose to go there! We are surrounded by false gospels today everywhere we turn. Tragically, the most dangerous place in the world today spiritually is in a Bible college or church. Go figure! Whether it be Bob Jones University, Liberty University, Master's University, Moody Bible Institute or Pensacola Christian College—they are all corrupt in their understanding of how to be saved. Satan has crept his deadly “repent of your sin” doctrine of devils into churches everywhere! Not one verse in the Bible teaches to forsake our sinning to receive God's free gift of eternal life. God saves a man by faith alone, and then the indwelling Holy Spirit changes him; but we must not pervert the Gospel in an attempt to force people to live right.

What a tremendous passage of Scripture!!!

Are There “Distinguishing Marks” For A True Believer?

1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” Hebrews 12:14-16, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.”

One of the most dangerous false prophets of our generation is Evangelist Ray Comfort. In this video exposing Ray Comfort's false plan of salvation, there is a brief clip of him errantly teaching that Hebrews 12:14 means if you don't live in holiness, you cannot go to Heaven. Dear reader, that absolutely is NOT what the Bible is saying in Hebrews 12:14. If we interpret verse 14 within the context of the passage, it is made abundantly clear that without holiness many people shall be defiled. That is, they won't get saved because of our poor testimony. Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” This is what the author of Hebrews 12:14 means. We don't know who penned the book of Hebrews, but I humbly think it was the Apostle Paul, because Paul was always heavy in his doctrine (as we see in Hebrews). Regardless, God is the divine Author of the entire Holy Bible (2nd Timothy 3:16-17).

Hebrews 12:1, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” Here in Verse 1 we see that the topic at hand is WITNESSES to the faith. This is a continuation of Hebrews chapter 11, which is often called: “The Hall of Faith.” The writer of Hebrews mentions a handful of faithful patriarchs of the faith in chapter 11 (Abraham, Noah, Rahab, David, et cetera), and then continues in chapter 12 by telling us that we, likewise, are expected by God to live in holiness; otherwise the lost won't see Jesus and won't get saved, and it will be our fault.

My good friend, Curtis Smale, turned 57 on January 13, 2022 and then went to Heaven just a few days later. He suffered a stroke in early January and died a couple weeks later. My friend left a wealth of wisdom on his blog. I have downloaded Curtis' entire blog, using a wonderful free program called: "HTTrack." The program is freeware and simple to use. There are YouTube videos which can show you how to use it if you have any questions. I highly suggest that all my blog readers download your favorite websites to save them on your hardrive.

I have seen website after website disappear suddenly and forever! GONE!!! I was thankful that I downloaded Pastor Wally Beebe's Bus Ministry website before he went to Heaven and it vanished forever. I also archived the complete ministry website of Dr. James Sightler (son of famous preacher Harold Sightler). Here is one of the wonderful articles that I preserved by Dr. Sightler, had I not archived with HTTrack the world would have lost forever!!! When I am dead and gone dear friend, so will my ministry work. That is why I started my blog ministry last year, and by God's grace intend to keep writing like a zealous groundhog on groundhog day!!!

Here is some helpful information from my now in Heaven good friend, Curtis...
Are There “Distinguishing Marks” For A True Believer?
Below, I give the link to a False Gospel teacher’s very Christian-sounding teaching.

You may want to read that first and see if you can detect what is wrong with it. There are a couple of sentences that scream False Gospel.

Here is what I responded to what Senior Pastor Colin Smith wrote:

A saved person is one who believes in Jesus. There are no “distinguishing marks of a Christian.” There are traits that are found in one living by the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, et al.. And there are good works that saved believers are commanded to do.

But there are many unbelievers who do good works and have love, joy, and peace (although not of the same kind and source as a believer in Jesus (which is God)).

According to the Bible, a person knows he is a saved believer by the inner witness of the Holy Spirit–because he believes in Jesus.

Salvation is a FREE GIFT through faith in Jesus.

The reason that the article linked to below is False Gospel teaching is that it makes the doing of good works the bottom line for defining who is and who is not a saved believer in Jesus.

That is salvation by works, unavoidably.

Our works are not our assurance of salvation–faith in Jesus, ONLY, is the source of our assurance of salvation.

All believers in Jesus ~still sin~.

Notice the spiritually deadly teaching written by Colin Smith: “All of us have heard stories about people who have professed Christian faith while quietly indulging their sins of choice. Such a person is not a Christian but a hypocrite. What a person believes is a necessary mark, but it is not sufficient to identify a genuine Christian.”

What this article is saying is that a person cannot believe in Jesus and be saved while he still sins.

This is deadly false doctrine.

When Jesus tells saved believers to pray, “Forgive us our trespasses” in the Lord’s Prayer, are they not true Christians? Obviously they are.

When Paul tells saved believers in Jesus to confess their sins to one other, are these people not true Christians? Yes, they are.

When 1st John says that if we say we have no sin, that the truth is not in us, is he not saying that all saved believers still sin? Of course.

Those who have believed in Jesus are saved eternally.

Jesus said, in John 6:47: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who BELIEVES IN ME ~HAS~ EVERLASTING LIFE.”

Galatians chapter one condemns Senior Pastor Colin Smith to Hell, twice, for preaching a false Gospel of works.

The Beatitudes DO NOT tell us what a saved believer in Jesus looks like, as Smith says in the last part of this article.

The Beatitudes tell us what God’s will is and how we should live, and how far our inner attitudes fall from perfection.

But there are people who do not even believe in Jesus who live by the Beatitudes.

Smith says at the end that salvation is not by works, but then he contradicts himself by saying that it is only by works that we can know if someone is saved.

This is how all the false teachers operate. They say they believe in salvation by faith alone, without good works; and then they make good works a requirement to know if you are really saved.

The truth is, those who believe in Jesus as Savior are saved eternally. (John 6:47)

It is God’s will that those who are saved eternally should live by His Word and Spirit in love and righteousness.

But even if a believer in Jesus does not live God’s way, and even if a believer in Jesus has his life dominated by sin, this does not erase his salvation, because salvation is by faith in Jesus, not by good works we do, either before or after salvation.

Pastor Smith needs to get saved through faith in Jesus, and to ever have Jesus alone as his foundation for salvation and true Christianity.

John 6:47

15 Reasons Why You Cannot Lose Salvation

Ephesians 1:12-14, “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”

Dear reader, from the very moment that you decided to trust Jesus as the Christ, the only begotten Son of God, you were SEALED by God with His Holy Spirit. That was God's way of proving to you that He will make good on His promise of eternal life, by putting a down payment down,
“Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” That downpayment is the blessed Holy Spirit. The Bible promises in Hebrews 13:5 that God will NEVER leave nor forsake us. In order to keep that solemn promise, God can NEVER remove the Holy Spirit from our body, soul and spirit. God can NEVER remove the free gift of salvation which He has given to us by faith alone.

Dear friend, if you didn't get saved by good works, then how could you ever be lost by bad works? You cannot. Once Saved, Always Saved. Or as I like to better say it: If Saved, Always Saved. No one since the beginning of time has ever LOST God's free gift of salvation, which is by faith alone. This includes all of the Old Testament saints as well. We read in no uncertain terms in Acts 10:43, “To him [Jesus] give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Here are 15 REASONS WHY YOU CANNOT LOSE GOD'S SALVATION:
  1. ETERNAL LIFE IS ETERNAL. It is NOT “life until you sin again.” Jesus promised us “eternal life” and it is ridiculous to think that He didn’t mean that He gives us life that would never end. Eternal life begins THE MOMENT when we believe. The believer “is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24)

  2. SALVATION IS A “BY BIRTH” SITUATION. A birth cannot be undone or reversed. “Once born, always born." Jesus did not teach that a man must be born again and again, and perhaps even yet again. We don’t have a second opportunity to be born again physically, nor do we have or even need a second opportunity to be born again spiritually once we have received our new spiritual birth. If you are born once, you die twice; if you are born twice, you die once. That is, if you are never born again you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3-7).

  3. SALVATION (ETERNAL LIFE) IS A FREE GIFT. It is not something that is earned or can be deserved. Works earn “rewards,” not salvation. Romans 5:15-18, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1st Corinthians 3:11-15. Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty! Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

  4. SALVATION IS BASED UPON HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, NOT OURS. Philippians 3:9 and 2nd Corinthians 5:21 teach that it is Christ’s righteousness that is imputed to our account. If our salvation is based upon Christ righteousness and not our own, how could our own unrighteousness ever make His righteousness insufficient? When God declares us righteous, it is settled (Romans 8:33-34). Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

  5. WE ARE KEPT BY THE POWER OF GOD. 1 Peter 1:4-5 teaches this. If it is God’s power that keeps us, who is stronger or more powerful than God?

  6. JESUS IS HOLDING US IN HIS HAND. John 10:28. We are not holding onto God; He is holding onto us! Even if we could let go, He cannot and will not. 1st Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, (5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

  7. WE SHALL NEVER COME INTO CONDEMNATION OR JUDGMENT. John 5:24 teaches us this. As in John 3:16 and John 10:28 wherein we are told we will NEVER PERISH. In John 11:25 wherein Jesus said the believer will “NEVER DIE,” here we are told the believer will “NEVER COME INTO CONDEMNATION.” If a person could lose salvation, this would not be true

  8. WE HAVE ALREADY PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE. Now get this. According to John 5:24, the believer has already passed (past tense) from death into life. This cannot be speaking of physical life, but must be speaking of spiritual death and life. We have never yet been dead physically, but we were dead spiritually before we got saved (Ephesians 2:1-2).

  9. THE BELIEVER SHALL NEVER DIE. In John 11:25 Jesus said to Martha that “whoever lives and believes in me shall NEVER die.” He surely was not speaking of physical death, because we all die eventually, so He must have been speaking of eternal life.

  10. JESUS SAID HE WOULD NOT CAST US OUT. As in Hebrews 13:5 wherein Jesus said He would never leave us nor forsake us. He tells us in John 6:37 that He will never cast us out, if we come to Him. In John 5:40 Jesus said, "Ye will not come." He didn't say, "Ye cannot come." We have no one to blame but our self if we reject God's free gift of forgiveness of sins which includes eternal life (Romans 6:23).

  11. JESUS WILL LOSE NOTHING (THAT INCLUDES US). John 6:39 tells us that Jesus will lose nothing but “will raise it up again at the last day." Whatever we are, we are something! This answers those who say He will not cast us out but we could choose to walk out on our own.

  12. WE ARE “JUSTIFIED” (DECLARED RIGHTEOUS) BY FAITH. When it is God who does the justifying, that is all we need. Romans 5:1 teaches us that it is because we are justified by faith in Jesus that we have “peace with God.”

  13. WE ARE SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. When it is God who does the sealing, man cannot break the seal. The Holy Spirit is given to every believer to be with him and in him forever. 1st Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches us that we are “bought with a price,” the blood of Christ. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR “EARNEST. (GUARANTEE) OF OUR INHERITANCE. Titus 1:2 teaches us that God cannot lie and He has promised us eternal life. God said it; that settles it!

  14. GOD SAYS WE CAN KNOW WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. We are taught in 1st John 5:13 that the believer can “KNOW” that he has eternal life. How could he possibly know it if he could still wind up in hell?

  15. WE CANNOT “REJOICE” AS JESUS COMMANDED IF WE ARE INSECURE. In Luke 10:20 our dear Savior tells every believer: “rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Now how could we obey the Lord's command to REJOICE, if we cannot know 100% for certain that our name is written in Heaven? Every believer's name is recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life. If it were possible to lose, regain, lose, regain and lose our salvation, and go through this horrible cycle of uncertainty, then we couldn't rejoice; but rather, live in constant fear if we slack off and lose eternal life. What a horrible way to live! Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. In salvation, you are coming to Christ, ceasing from all your own labors, and resting entirely in His finished redemptive work (Hebrews 4:10-11; John 6:28-29)
