A Christian Believer Can Never Be Lost Again

Romans 8:34-35, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

I read these beautiful words today by one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951):

Can A Believer Ever Be Lost?

It has been announced that I will speak to you on a subject which has occasioned a good deal of controversy among the people of God. I want to take as a starting point—not exactly as a text, because we shall be looking at a good many Scriptures—Romans 8:38-39: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." This is the inspired answer to the question of verse 35: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" That is, once we have been justified by faith, who is there, what power is there, that can separate from the love of Christ? And the answer, how full, how clear, not a shadow, not a doubt, not a question left, when the apostle says that neither death nor life shall separate! Can you think of anything which is neither included in death nor in life? Neither death nor life shall separate!
No unseen powers can separate the believer from Christ, "neither angels, nor principalities, nor powers." These terms are used again and again in the New Testament, particularly in the Epistles, for angelic hosts, good and evil. When our Savior rose from the dead He spoiled principalities and powers, that is, He defeated all the hosts of evil led by Satan; and so we may take it that the angels referred to here are good angels, and the principalities and powers are possible evil angels. But there is nothing that good angels would do and nothing that evil angels can do which will result in the separation of the believer from Christ. And then further he says, "neither things present nor things to come."
Again let me put the question, Can you think of any experience through which a believer might ever go which is neither a thing present nor a thing to come? And the Holy Ghost says that neither things present nor things to come shall be able to separate us from the love of Christ. As though that were not enough, He speaks in a more general way when He says that neither "Height nor depth (nothing in heaven, nothing in hell), nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." It looks to me as though we are safe if we are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I couldn't agree more with Pastor Ironside. The Bible is very clear that once a person is born-again, they are forever a part of God's family. Beware of anyone who teaches that you must “repent of your sins” to be saved, because it is a works-based false gospel. The popular false teaching today is that if someone claims to be a Christians, but is still living in willful open sin, they have never repented of their sins and are not really saved. That is Lordship Salvation! That is the junk theology taught by Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, Bob Jones University, Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Charles Lawson, Sam Horn, Maranatha Baptist University, Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary, Masters University, Moody Bible Institute, Unshackled radio, John MacArthur and other Calvinists. Please avoid these Devil's servants! We are not kept saved by our faithfulness, we are kept saved by God's faithfulness!

Ozzy, “The Prince Of Darkness,” Soon To Meet His Maker

1st Peter 4:17, For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

According to Wikipedia, John Michael “Ozzy Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970's as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname Prince of Darkness.” Although Mr. Osbourne has long been accused of being a Satanist, it was reported by The New York Times in 1992 that he was a practicing member of the Church of England and prayed before each show. What blasphemy against a holy God! We see this a lot today—entertainers mixing heathendom and religion. For example: All the members of the band Black Sabbath wear crosses during concert. It confuses people, which is what the Devil wants to do. That is why Satan has published literally hundreds of English Bible revisions, to confuse everyone and diminish the authoritativeness of God's Word.

The ritualistic Church of England is apostate...

“Being a Christian means responding to Jesus' invitation to enjoy a relationship with God here on earth and for eternity.” —Church Of England - What We Believe

They are Anglicans who practice baptismal regeneration. Judas had a relationship with Jesus, but went to Hell forever. Ozzy is no more a born-again Christian than Elmer Fudd in the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes series. Ozzy Osbourne has faithfully served Satan throughout his rock music career, whether he realizes or wants to admit it or not. You don't have to worship the Devil to be a Satanist. The Australian band AC/DC is infamous for songs like Highway To Hell and Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be,” which they glibly dismiss as a mere marketing strategy. Ozzy says the same thing. I believe them! I don't think Ozzy lights candles in a pentagram in his basement, while bowing down to a statue of Baphomet.

Yet, in his very concerts he is as he calls himself, the 'Prince Of Darkness,' preaching a Satanic message to his audience! Band after band, as worldly as can be, deny worshipping the Devil, while producing music and album art that glorifies the Devil. Don Henley of The Eagles has said a hundred times that Hotel California was just some clever lyrics that he thought up, not intended to be Satanic. Yet he sings: “they stab it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the Beast” and also you can check-in anytime you like, but you can never leave, which strongly suggests an occult secret society. Anyone who has done their research fully knows that Hollywood and the American music industry are controlled by Satanists. I am not saying that Don Henley is a Satanist, but he is clearly a part of an industry controlled by Satanists. They have proven that over the decades by their creative occult artwork on the album covers. We are headed into a demonic New World Order!

When I was 10 years old in 1977, my friend and me used to hang out in his basement, listening to his older brother's 8-track collection. We loved the song “Iron Man by Black Sabbath, but I didn't learn until I was older that the singer was Ozzy Osbourne. We listened to Boston, Foreigner, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy and Journey on 8-tracks. We were just normal kids, not knowing any better, that it was the Devil's music. I got saved at age 13. The indwelling Holy Spirit taught me that even though I still liked rock music, it was indeed the Devil's music.

I didn't smash all my worldly music as Pacific Garden Mission foolishly teaches. I have been listening to junk theology on Unshackled for the past couple years with heightened interest, alarmed by the garbage they are preaching. According to umpteen Unshackled episodes, when you get saved, your desire for sinful addictions immediately vanish. For example

“I got up from my knees and I was free. I was new. That day God delivered me from my addictions! Within minutes of my spiritual salvation, he took away my impulse to use [drugs].”

SOURCE: 'UNSHACKLED' program #3590 (aired in 2019).

Within minutes? Drug addiction gone? Are you serious? This is the health, wealth and prosperity junk taught by the demonic Charismatic movement! PGM bases this errant teaching on a single Bible verse from 2nd Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Folks, all that verse means is that when you get saved, God's Holy Spirit now lives inside you. Your spiritual eyes have been opened (1st Corinthians 2:14-16). God DOES NOT take away your desire to sin when you get saved. PGM is teaching false doctrine. Being a new creature in Christ doesn't mean that your desires have changed, it means ownership has changed. You are no longer a child of the Devil, you are now a redeemed child of God, washed in the blood of the Lamb (1st Peter 1:18-19; 1st John 1:29).

As I have grown older, now 53, I have curiously followed the lives of my childhood musical mentors. In February of 2020 Ozzy announced to the world that he has Parkinson's Disease, and that 2019 was the most painful and miserable year of his life. The self-proclaimed “Prince Of Darkness is now the man ready to die in his sins. It makes me sad, because they are people for whom Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary. This earthly life is so short. It's hard to believe that the strong, vibrant, healthy, Ozzy Osbourne that I remember Barking At The Moon (the name of one of his songs) in the 1980's, is now ready to die with Parkinson's Disease in 2020. Oh how the words of the Holy Bible rings true...

James 4:13-14, “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

It won't be long before John Michael Ozzy” Osbourne is gone. I prayed for Ozzy today, that he would come to Jesus Christ before it is too late. Just because he prayed in a church 30 years ago isn't enough to get to Heaven. Only through submitting to God's righteousness, which is through faith alone in Jesus Christ, can anyone be saved. Philippians 3:9, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:I hope Ozzy comes to Jesus Christ before it is too late, when he stands before his Creator and has to give account for going through life as the self-proclaimed: Prince Of Darkness.

Men Want To Buy Salvation

Acts 15:1, “And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.” Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I would like to read a wonderful quote to you from Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) ...

“Men want to buy salvation. That is what is the matter with the world now. It is trying to find the means by which it can earn something that the Lord Jesus Christ wants to give away. The average man has an idea something like this: The angels are keeping the books up in Heaven. If he does a good deed it goes in one column. If he does a bad deed if goes in another column. When he dies the angels will add up the columns. If the good outweighs the bad he will go to Heaven. If the bad outweighs the good, he will go to hell. That is the idea the average man has. But that isn't so. You don't go to Heaven for doing good deeds and you don't go to hell just because you do something bad.

As a matter of fact, if you are a sinner you can't do good deeds. The Bible says that “all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.” The Bible says that though I give my body to be burned and do many other things and have not love, it profiteth me nothing. It may do somebody else some good. You might give this college a million dollars and be a sinner and die and go to hell. It wouldn't do you one bit of good as far as your salvation is concerned to give this college a million dollars. It might do somebody else some good. It profits me nothing to do good deeds if I am not righteous. The verse doesn't say it won't profit anybody else. It profits me nothing, even if I give all I have and then let my body be burned.”

...all this is talk about a man's earning salvation. You can't earn it. You can't pay for it after you get it! You can't buy it. Nobody could buy salvation except Jesus, and He paid for it with His blood. You can't buy it; and it is a cinch you can't steal it! Now, if you ever get it, you must get somebody to give it to you. And I can tell you Who can do it. I found Him when I was eleven years old and He gave me eternal life. There are millions on earth to whom Jesus has given eternal life.

...If you think you can buy it, you don't have it. “In my hand no price I bring,” is the testimony of every saved person. “All my righteousness is as filthy rags,” is the language of a man who knows God. You can't earn it. You can't pay for it. Nobody has it for sale. If you could pay for it you couldn't buy it. God is the only One who has it, and He has never sold it. “The wages of sin is death.” The devil pays the wages. You can buy death. “The soul that sinneth, it shall die,” but “The gift of God is eternal life.” —Dr. Bob Jones Sr., “Things I Have Learned: Chapel Talks,” page 217-220; Bob Jones University Press, ©1945

Amen and amen! I love the simplicity in which Dr. Bob Jones Sr. writes. He doesn't mention anywhere in his entire book that you must “turn from your sins to be saved. This heresy of repent of your sins to be saved is foreign to the Scriptures. I heard the audio sermon of Pastor Marty Herron shamefully preaching this very heresy, at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 17, 2019. Ladies and gentleman, you don't have to repent of your sins” to receive God's free gift of eternal life. That is exactly what the Bible teaches in Ephesians 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. If a person must repent (turn away from) of their sins to be saved, then it cannot be a gift.

I heard Pastor Herron in person, while attending the now spiritually defunct Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for a year in 2014, say from the pulpit to several hundred people on a Sunday morning: “It is not enough to admit that you are a sinner, you must also turn away from a lifestyle of sin to be saved.” Pastor Herron is not saved! You just heard Dr. Bob Jones Sr. say it himself: “...If you think you can buy it, you don't have it.” I love something that Pilgrim's progress author, John Bunyan (1628-1688), said:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” [emphasis added] —Evangelist John Bunyan

The increasingly popular fallacy of Lordship Salvation combines, confuses and confounds sanctification with justification, casting stumbling blocks before the people, so that they cannot be born-again. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life, without ever being born-again. This is what Seventh-Day Adventism is all about. Tragically, Dr. Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University since 2014) teaches the same Lordship Salvation garbage as does Miss Ellen G. White. They are both hellbound heretics!

Folks, Jesus said that He spit the church of Laodicea out of His mouth. The Lord didn't even want to mention their name, because it disgusted Him so much! Revelation 3:15-16, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” I can't think of anything more lukewarm than these neo-evangelical churches today, like the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, who straddle the fence between a free grace Gospel and Lordship Salvation.

On their website Harvest superficial claims to believe in a free grace Gospel, but on their KHMG 88.1 FM radio station they promote Pacific Garden Mission's Unshackled, Bob Jones University's The Daily Platform, and Moody Bible Institute (who publish Dr. John MacArthur's Calvinist books). All of the ministries I just mentioned teach hardcore Lordship Salvation, which is not the Gospel of free grace! The Lord absolutely rejected the lukewarm compromising of the Laodicean church. If the Lord made a big fuss over their lukewarm attitude toward works, how much more then does God make a fuss over the Gospel?

Men want to buy salvation. That is the title of my article. That is what Dr. Bob Jones Sr. rightly said in the intriguing quote I shared with you. Men want to buy salvation! And if they don't outright frontload the Gospel, by requiring some form of payment (works) to obtain salvation; then they'll rearload the Gospel, by requiring some form of payment (works) to prove that you really have it. This is a false plan of salvation, which cannot produce the new birth.

I heard Charles Lawson, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church in Knoxville, criticizing Pastor Jack Hyles, accusing him of leaving off repentance. Kindly said, Pastor Lawson speaks as a fool, and has no idea what he is doing theologically. Charles Lawson is a stinking Calvinist! Here is what Brother Hyles actually believes:

Lordship salvation would make salvation a trade or a deal or maybe even a bribe. It would take away the simple reception of Christ for eternal life and would become God giving us something if we give Him something. God would say to us, “You give Me something; I'll give you something. We will trade, and you will be saved.” Salvation is not my giving God something and God giving me something; salvation is God giving me something and my receiving it. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Lordship Salvation” (chapter 11 from his book: “Salvation Is More Than Being Saved”)

Dr. Jack Hyles 100% correctly and Biblically states concerning repentance:

“Repentance is not some little silly, 'I'm sorry.' Repentance is not simply a fear of God. Repentance is not a monk fasting and afflicting his body in a monastery. Repentance is not remorse because of sin's consequences. Repentance is not penance performed before the pope as you kiss his toe... Repentance is not being sorry for what I've done wrong. It is not confessing one's sins to a priest. It is not just conviction of sin. It is not the signing of a pledge of abstinence. Repentance is that thing when you come before God and see yourself as you are, and see Him as he is, and say with Isaiah 'Woe is me, for I am unclean!'” —Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), a quote from the timeless MP3 sermon, 'THE GOODNESS OF GOD LEADETH TO REPENTANCE!'

Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) offers these excellent helpful words on repentance:

There is no promise in the Bible to those who partially believe on Christ. The promise is to those who believe on Him. We cannot trust Jesus 90% and something else 10%; we must fully trust Him, Him alone and nothing else, for salvation.
Since Jesus did not use the word 'repent' in telling Nicodemus how to be born again, then we must reach one of three conclusions. First, repentance is not necessary to salvation; second, repentance is necessary for salvation and Jesus didn't tell Nicodemus how to be saved; third, repentance is necessary to salvation and is included in the word 'believe' which Jesus did use time and time again in this chapter. The correct conclusion, of course, is that repentance is necessary to salvation and is included in 'believe.' A man cannot trust Christ without repenting. —Pastor Curtis Hutson, 'Repentance: What Does The Bible Teach?'

May that finally lay to rest the debate over repentance and Lordship Salvation. Lordship Salvation is of the Devil, a counterfeit gospel. Repenting of one's sins to be saved is not taught in the Bible. You simply come to God as a needy sinner, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but three days later raised up from the dead! Men want to buy salvation, but you cannot, because Jesus is giving eternal life away for free TO THEM THAT BELIEVE (1st Corinthians 1:21b).

Jews Don't Need A Different Plan Of Salvation

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 1st Corinthians 1:18, For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

One of my web visitors recently said to me:
I think you should do some more articles for Jews. They denied Jesus for 2000 years, so normal evangelizing won't really work. I suggest you use Isaiah 52-53 as proof that Jesus is their Messiah.
Although sincere in his intent, the Gospel is the only way to be saved. The Bible is very clear that Jews don't get their own plan of salvation. As Romans 1:16 says, "the Gospel" is the power of God unto salvation, to them that believe.
Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. There is no other way to be saved.”
The Bible says the Gospel was given to the Jewish people first in time, but then to the Gentiles. If a Jew is too proud to humble them self to come to Jesus Christ, then they will go to Hell, and it will be only their fault.

I just had a man try to promote the Hebrew Roots Movement on my Facebook page, and I had to refute that heresy and remove his comment. I wrote this article in response.

The Hebrew Roots Movement is Satanic! Jews don't need a different method of witnessing to get them saved. The Bible does not say that at all. Nicodemus was a religious ruler of the Jews, and Jesus plainly warned Nicodemus that unless a man is born again, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God (John 1:1-7). So Jews, just like Gentiles, must be born anew from above by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Acts 4:10-12 says that salvation is not found in any other name, than that of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some people are trying to replace Jesus with Yeshua, but that is unbiblical. God has exalted ONLY the name of Jesus, and no other name is to be compared in greatness (Philippians 2:9-11).

Judaism is a false religion, which rejects the New Testament, seeking to re-establish the Old Testament religion of salvation by keeping the deeds of the law. God never intended for anyone to get to Heaven by keeping the law. Romans 3:19-20 teaches that the purpose of God's law is to silence all humanity of their self-righteousness boasting. That is why Jesus used the law to silence the rich young ruler, who boasted that he had kept the law from his youth. Clearly he hadn't, because he was covetous, and a dirty sinner still.

1st Corinthians 1:18, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” So if unsaved Jews refuse to come to the cross to be saved by faith, they have fallen from grace and there is no hope for them. If the Gospel has to be corrupted, to include the works of the law, and replace the name of Jesus, then it is another Jesus, another Spirit, and another gospel, which cannot produce the new birth (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). There is only ONE GOSPEL according to the Word of God. So the people saying, that unbelieving Jews need to be evangelized in a different way, don't know what they are talking about Scripturally...
Galatians 1:6-9, I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Repentance And Faith Are Inseparable

2nd Timothy 3:15, “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

There is a false doctrine, called “Lordship Salvation,” which Satan has crept into many churches today, which errantly teaches that a person must repent of sins first, and then have faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Advocates of the Lordship Salvation heresy errantly teach that “repentance” means to “turn away from sins, to intent to reform, amend one's ways, and to cease from lifelong sinful bad habits. And then second, the person is led to place their faith in Jesus as their Savior. Such a false plan of salvation cannot produce the new birth. Biblically, repentance and faith happen at the same time.

Repentance and faith are two parts of one act of getting saved. You cannot have one without the other! If a man turns from sins, that is merely reformation, not repentance. Sorrow for sins in penitence, not repentance. Making a mend for one's sins is penance, not repentance. Repentance is a change of mind” from wrong thinking to believing the Gospel. To “repent is to acknowledge THE TRUTH that you are a guilty sinner in need of redemption (2nd Timothy 2:25; Romans 3:19-20), and then you are saved by believing THE TRUTH of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16).

Getting saved is solely a matter of embracing and believing THE TRUTH. 2nd Timothy 2:25, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; Colossians 1:5, For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;” Galatians 2:5, “To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.” Paul is saying here that he didn't tolerate heretics for even one hour, to ensure that the truth of the Gospel remained, otherwise people cannot be saved from a false gospel. Bob Jones University (BJU) needs to fire Dr. Steve Pettit, instead of letting him move them away from the hope of the Gospel. BJU is now a cesspool of iniquity, preaching Lordship Salvation instead of the Gospel of free grace.

Look at our text Bible verse above. Isn't it beautiful? In 2nd Timothy 3:15 we see the “SIMPLICITY THAT IS IN CHRIST” (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4), which is “THE GOSPEL”! The Gospel is simply the “GOOD NEWS” of the Lord Jesus Christ Who DIED on the cross to pay our debt of sin, and then He was BURIED, and miraculously Jesus RESURRECTED bodily three days later for our justification (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Simply believe the 'GOOD NEWS' dear reader and you are eternally saved!!! 2nd Timothy 3:15b, “...salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” I marvel that thousands of preachers today ignore such plain, blatant and inspired Scriptures, adding instead a bunch of requirements that God does not, perverting the plan of salvation. If turning away from sins were required to be saved, then the Bible would have mentioned it here in 2nd Timothy 3:15, but it does not! We are simply taught to HAVE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST!

So does a person need to REPENT to be saved? Yes, of course, absolutely! But repentance does not mean “to turn from sins,” it means “to think differently” (the Greek verb metanoeo). We see this verb form used in Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” A literal interpretation of the verse would be—“THINK DIFFERENTLY AND BELIEVE THE 'GOOD NEWS' THAT CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND BODILY RESURRECTED THREE DAYS LATER!” Repentance is unto the Gospel itself. We don't repent AND believe as false teachers claim, we repent TO believe. We are not saved by repenting from anything, we are saved by BELIEVING THE GOSPEL!!! What saith the Scripture? ...
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
We are saved by BELIEVING “the Gospel,” which is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” It is that simple to be saved. If you admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight, in need of redemption, and you receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, and bodily resurrected three days later, and that is your only hope for eternal life, then YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY, SECURELY AND FOREVER SAVED!!!

The Bible teaches that repentance and faith are inseparable and happen at the SAME time. Repentance is an automatic thing, so that it need not even be mentioned when presenting THE GOSPEL to a lost sinner. If someone desires to be saved because they understand that they are a sinner, they are saved the very second they trust (rely) upon the crucified, buried and risen Savior!!! Being born-again is that simple. God only saves ungodly sinners!
“You know the greatest difficulty and hindrance today, is not that people are not good enough. The great hindrance is they're not bad enough, to be saved!” —Pastor J. Vernon McGee, a truthful quote the MP3 sermon, “Why The Gospel Is Not Preached Today
You don't repent of your sins and then secondarily place your faith in Christ. Salvation doesn't work that way. Biblically, the man who has repented has believed, and the man who believes has repented. This truth is evidenced by the fact that the Gospel of John mentions the words “believe” 85 times, but the word “repent” is never mentioned once. The only requirement to believing the Gospel is to realize that you are a guilty sinner in the sight of a holy God. You've got to know what you are being saved from! ...
“The purpose of the law was never to save; the law has to make us speechless before God, before grace can even begin with us! ...My friend, God is only saving GUILTY SINNERS, those whose mouths are stopped, those who say 'I have nothing to offer God!' I come, just as I AM!” —Pastor J. Vernon McGee, a truthful quote the MP3 sermon, “Why The Gospel Is Not Preached Today
I absolutely love the following passage of Scripture quoted below from Romans. ...
Romans 3:19-24,  “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
Oh, notice my dear friend that “THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST”!!! And don't miss who gets saved... “ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE”!!! What further saith the Scripture? ...“BEING JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE THROUGH THE REDEMPTION THAT IS IN CHRIST!!! Wow, it doesn't get any plainer than that!!! Amen, hallelujah!!!

Now I ask you dear reader, where in the preceding passage of Holy Scripture are we taught to turn away from sinful ways? Where are we instructed to be willing to turn from our sins to be saved? Where are we told to surrender to Christ's Lordship as Master of our life, willing to follow and obey Him? Where are we instructed to forsake the world or have a negative attitude toward the pet sins in our life? You cannot show me any of that! Do you see friend what the Devil is doing nowadays? Satan has corrupted the Gospel, getting people to listen to Tv and internet preachers instead of “SEARCHING THE SCRIPTURES” as Jesus commanded in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” I hear people who are utterly confused about their salvation, citing quotes which they've heard from John MacArthur, Paul Washer, John Goetsch, Chip Ingram, Jon Piper, Stephen Davies, and Ray Comfort, instead of quoting Bible verses. That tells me right away that they are listening to flawed men instead of God's inspired Word.

I challenge you friend to listen only to the Word of God (i.e., the inspired King James Bible) for a few months, and you will see that salvation is by FAITH ALONE WITHOUT WORKS. The biggest lie that I hear in pseudo-Christendom today is that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone, but they say you still have to do works by turning from sin. It is a contradictory false Gospel, a forked tongue plan of salvation, based upon a double-standard of hypocrisy. What saith the Scripture? Romans 11:6, “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” Could the Bible be any plainer? I think not. Salvation is either by works or by grace, but it absolutely cannot be both.

Galatians 3:2, “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” The apostle Paul didn't ark them if they had turned away from their sins. Paul wasn't concerned whether or not they had submitted to Jesus as their Lord and Master. Paul didn't inquire if they had been water baptized. Paul didn't ask them if they forsook the world. Paul only wanted to know one thing—How did you get saved?—“BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW” or “BY THE HEARING OF FAITH.” When the apostle Peter presented the Gospel to Cornelius and others in Acts chapter 10, Peter never instructed them to do anything, he simply told them THE STORY OF JESUS, and when they believed they were immediately and forever saved! Whew that's good stuff!!!

The Gospel Is Not A Journey, It Is A New Birth

1st Peter 1:23, “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

There is a false teaching going around in many neo-evangelical churches today, calling the Gospel “a journey.” The shameful Harvest Baptist Church on Guam promotes this garbage on their website. They advertise: “Join us on a Gospel journey!” You won't find that terminology anywhere in the Word of God. The Gospel is not a journey dear friend, it is a new birth in Christ Jesus. Our text passage from 1st Peter 1:23b says, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. The new birth is instantaneous and does not require continued repentance, nor faithfully running the race, nor enduring to the end, nor turning from your sins, nor anything else! It is a free gift!!! Getting saved is a spiritual birth, not a journey.

Also dear reader, you cannot be born-again from corruptible seed, as you just read. Harvest Baptist Church is saturated with the Devil's modern corrupt Bible versions. They are a house divided, which the Lord said cannot stand (Matthew 12:25). There is not a more shameful institution in America today than Bob Jones University. I am shocked that the owners of the college brought in a damnable heretic like Evangelist Steve Pettit, who is hardcore Lordship Salvation and a big fan of Pastor John MacArthur. The Devil didn't have to creep into BJU, they invited him right through the front door with honors. This is exactly what Dr. Bob Jones Sr. warned would happen in 1944:

“He [Jude] said, well it was 'needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith, which once for all [was] delivered unto the saints.'

Now wait a minute, you've got something worth contending for! Isn't it strange that something so valuable and so wonderful as saving faith is something we that have to be exhorted to contend for? Why, if you had a diamond worth $5,000 you wouldn't leave it just lying around anywhere. If you had $1,000,000 in gold, you'd go put it in a vault. [If] Anybody tried to get it, you'd fight to keep them from gettin' it. And we just sit down and just let people steal the faith that Christians have, and never bother about it. Some of us pay 'em to do that! Some of us pay preachers to stand in the pulpit and steal the faith of the saints of God, and send our children to Hell. The most crooked crook on God Almighty's earth is a preacher who stands in a Trinitarian pulpit, and steals the faith of people!

You know I've said it many a time; if I was up in Heaven, fifty years from now (and the Lord tarried), and any religious liberal ever sat in a classroom in this institution, and tried to disseminate his infidelity, I'd ask God Almighty to excuse me for a little while, and I'd come back down to this school and get a stick of dynamite, and I'd blow it into smithereens! I'd rather see this school a heap of rubbish, just a little rubbish here and a little rubbish yonder, than see the time ever come we could be such softies, we'll sit down and let the Devil put his modernists and religious liberals in here to rob them of the faith. And yet that things going on in America, from one end of this country to the other!” [emphasis added] —Dr. Bob Jones Sr.; YouTube | MP4 | MP3

BJU is paying a 6-digit lucrative salary to Steve Pettit, so he can promote the heresy that the Gospel is a journey. Dr. Pettit does not understand the new birth. He is naive of the Gospel. Any man who preaches that childlike faith in Jesus Christ is insufficient to save someone is a liar!!! Steve Pettit doesn't believe in an instantaneous new birth! Read what he said:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” [emphasis added[ —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

Dr. Bob Jones Sr. would have shown Steve Pettit the door! Get out you infidel and don't come back! We are at war ladies and gentleman with neo-evangelicals today. We are at war over the inspiration of the Bible. We are at war over the meaning of the Gospel. We are at war over the meaning of repentance. We are at war over Biblical separation. I don't claim to be a good Christian, but God knows I am 100% sincere in my ministry. I am a loving, generous and kind person, despite my lack of patience. I thank God that I know THE TRUTH! Dr. Bob Jones Sr. said he would rather see his college reduced to a pile of rubbish, than to see some infidel get paid to stand behind the pulpit and steal the faith of the saints of God, sending people to Hell.

The Satanic English Standard Version (ESV) that Bob Jones University promotes (and Harvest Baptist Church on Guam as well) is corruptible seed. For example: The ESV teaches in 1st John 3:9 that you cannot be saved and continue living in sin. Only a fool believes such nonsense. What Christian is there who does not continue in sin? That's right, all of us (1st John 1:10). If you are saved, you still sin! The only difference is that now you have God's Holy Spirit living inside your body and soul, and He chastises you when you sin (Hebrews 12:6-8). There are Christians in prison serving life sentences for horrible crimes they've committed. Obviously they didn't turn from their sins as neo-evangelicals say you must if you're saved.

The Harvest Baptist Church on Guam are wrong to teach that the Gospel is a journey! Receiving God's free gift of eternal life is a new birth, not “a Gospel journey” (which implies that you have to run the race, which is exactly the garbage that Dr. Steve Pettit teaches at BJU, and Harvest promotes on their KHMG 88.1 FM radio station on Guam). This is not what the Bible teaches! The Gospel is not a journey which you must begin by faith, and then continue faithfully running in order to get the reward of Heaven. That is exactly verbatim what Steve Pettit teaches! Harvest Baptist Church is Bob Jones University on Guam. Dr. Jack Hyles is so right:

“The pastors have destroyed the churches, and they've been trained by people that have never built churches, and they have no compassion.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Many Pastors Have Destroyed My Vineyard

When I heard Brother Hyles make that statement last night, while listening to him preach, I immediately thought about the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam (HBC) and their woeful lack of compassion toward me since 2014. Oh how I needed their love and acceptance as a human being between 2014-2018, but Pastor Marty Herron was cold-hearted and couldn't have cared less about me or my family. Pastor Herron literally shunned me away, telling me to “Go elsewhere.” What saith the Scripture? Romans 14:10, “But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Then he quit as pastor and moved to greener pastures at the Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Iowa, sucking a 6-digit salary as Executive Vice President, taking his secretary and assistant pastor with him, abandoning a sinking ship that he crashed into an iceberg of Lordship Salvation, on the treacherous sea of the Devil's corrupt Bible revisions. All I ever pleaded was to please let me attend the church services. Where dwelleth the love of God?

Ironically, Harvest's website today has a bunch of Bible verses about hating one's brother. Well, they sure hated me during 2014-2018, and evidently still do, because I am still not welcomed at their church. If anybody hates their brother, it is the pastors of Harvest. 1st John 2:11, “But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. For the record, I love everyone with God's unconditional love. I have NEVER one time failed to wave with love at all my Harvest neighbours. I love everyone. THEY (not me) are the one's who have refused to reconcile all these years. I have poured out my heart time and time again to them, and they have read my articles, but they won't have anything to do with me. I don't think they hate me, but I think they HATE THE TRUTH! The truth is only HATE to them that HATE THE TRUTH!!!

And now their new pastor Gary Walton is steering the church in the same neo-evangelical direction, just with different scenery, church decor, new ugly removable seats and an unimpressive website. They still use and bid Godspeed to corruptible seed. They still bid Godspeed to Devil preachers like Dr. John MacArthur and Dr. Steve Pettit. They still support the Lordship Salvation preached by Unshackled, Moody Bible Institute and Bob Jones University. I didn't choose this fight with Harvest Baptist Church and the Bob Jones' crowd, they chose this fight with me, by driving me out of HBC in 2014 and ostracizing me since (and that includes Pastor Gary Walton, who is no better).

When a female student said she was raped at BJU, she was expelled to silence her. That is what HBC has done to me. I am not being hateful against them for exposing their wickedness, I hate every false way (Psalm 119:104). There's a very big difference. That raped girl wasn't being hateful to complain afterwards about what BJU did to her, the college was being hateful to blame her instead. If there is any hatred, Harvest needs to look in the mirror.

Pastor Hyles was attacked maliciously in 1989 by neo-evangelicals. They have been relentless to destroy his name and legacy since. Here are Brother Hyles' own words:

“This isn't over Jack Hyles, this is over fundamentalism! These are evangelicals fighting fundamentalists—that's what it's all about; and their effort is to destroy Hyles-Anderson College. Over my dead body they'll destroy Hyles-Anderson College; and their effort is to destroy the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana; and I'll go to the finish before I'll let it happen! That's what's going on!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, a truthful quote from the needful sermon, “Weathering The Storm!”

Harvest Baptist Church on Guam is following the same garbage theology of Dr. Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University). As is typical with neo-evangelicals, they have redefined Christianity to mean something different than what the Bible teaches. The new birth is not a journey. The Christian life is a journey, but we mustn't call the Gospel a journey, lest we confuse people to think they must live the Christian life to be saved.

“Soulwinning” Is A Biblical Term, And We Ought To Do It!

Proverbs 11:30, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

I have been in numerous Baptist churches where the word “soulwinning” is shunned as a bad word. In one church on Guam, an older lady scolded a younger woman in the church for saying: “I'd like to go soulwinning with the church.” The older woman rebuked her, saying: “Only God can save souls. We don't go soulwinning, we just go witnessing.” That woman is wrong! Although it is true that only God can save souls (1st Corinthians 3:8), when we go witnessing we are winning souls. There is nothing wrong with the term “soulwinning,” nothing at all. Proverbs 11:30, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”

I get frustrated when critical people micro-analyze everything. They split hairs to the point that it causes confusion. It is good to be objective in our thinking, testing everything against the Word of God (1st John 4:1). I encourage believers to think objectively. However, you can become a nuisance in the Body of Christ, if you attempt to micro-analyze everything, and you don't know what you are doing. We calls them “trolls on the internet. For example: A woman emailed me a few years ago, rebuking me for teaching that we should receive Jesus as our personal Savior. She said that the Bible doesn't teach this. She is very wrong. What saith the Scripture? John 1:12, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: I have learned to always make sure that I have a Scripture passage to back up what I teach. Let them argue with God.

Kindly, when I attended the now spiritually defunct Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, for a year in 2014, I learned quickly that the term “soulwinning is not used in their church. There was no soulwinning program. For that reason it didn't surprise me that a church of 500 members only water baptized four people every 6 months. What a shame! There's nothing worse than a lifeless church. Jeremiah 12:10, “Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.” It is sad when pastors, who are supposed to preserve the vineyard, destroy it! You'd think that that abortionists, drunkards and homosexuals would be the one's destroying the vineyard, but the Bible says the pastors were the vineyard killers!

A godly soulwinning pastor ought to make a church a vineyard. John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” Woe unto destructive neo-evangelical pastors! Extremely few pastors nowadays are soulwinners. Pastor Jack Hyles preaches a wonderful sermon titled: MANY PASTORS HAVE DESTROYED MY VINEYARD” (MP3). I encourage you to listen to Dr. Hyles. A soulwinning church is a vineyard that brings forth fruit, but to neo-evangelicals it is a forest preserve or flower garden.

The church's job is to bring forth fruit, not be a place where saints gather to worship God on Sunday morning. Not one verse in the Bible speaks of a public worship service. I triple-dog dare you to show it to me. Worship is supposed to be between you and your God on a personal basis. The church is a vineyard. If anybody ought to be making a church into a vineyard, it is the pastor. The average church has deteriorated because the pulpit let it do so, because today's Bible colleges are apostate! I'm talking about Bob Jones University, Moody Bible Institute and Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary (cemetery)! We've got a bunch of lifeless flower garden churches today, instead of soulwinning vineyards, because of lifeless Bible colleges who train the pastors. Is anybody listening? Does anybody care? The Bible teaches SOULWINNING!!! Proverbs 11:30, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”

All around the world people are dying for soulwinning churches. The biggest enemy of soulwinning is formalism! I am not against expository type preaching, but sometimes a pastor needs to PREACH a topical sermon!!! The average Baptist church pastor today doesn't preach on the topic of Hell once in a year!!! Brother Lester Roloff (1914-1982) rightly said that the great need of the hour is preaching preachers!!! Someone needs to destroy worship services all across America! The pastors, not the deacons or members, destroyed the vineyards! Woe unto the pastors!!!

Search The Scriptures For Assurance Of Salvation

John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Our assurance of salvation is not based upon feelings, appearances or what men say; our assurance that we have eternal life comes solely from the written Word of God. Eternal security is the believer's eternal life! They are one and the same. Assurance of Salvation is having the confidence that you have eternal life. So they are not the same thing. Many believers have eternal security (eternal life), but they wallow in fear, uncertainty and fear, not knowing that they are saved. I got saved at age 13. I had eternal security. Yet, I worried for the next seven years. I couldn't find the assurance that I was saved.

I later wrote this book about it to help others, titled: “SALVATION.” Something that bothers me is web visitors who continually ask me questions about assurance of salvation, but they won't read my book. I run into this problem all the time with people, and it frustrates me. I recently sent Pastor Jack Hyles' awesome book, “Salvation Is More Than Being Saved,” to a man with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), but he refused to read it for some reason. I think it is because some people refuse to take God at His Word. What they want is for me, a man, to give them the assurance that they are saved. So every time they have a doubt and worry, they look to me with their questions.

When I realized that some people were doing that to me, I started confronting them about it, simply because I had been enabling them. I am not God. I cannot save anyone. My words are only that of a mere mortal man, a sinner saved by God's grace. I tell them that they need to do as the Lord commanded in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” I am always willing to answer people's questions, but for their sake I try to encourage them to get into the Word of God, and to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES when they have fears, doubts and worries. That is the only way anyone will ever obtain the assurance of God's salvation.

Praise God, I know that I am saved at age 53, and I haven't doubted in over 30 years, because I SOLELY LOOK TO THE SCRIPTURES!!! So many people today are utterly confused about salvation, because they listen to these false prophets like Dr. John MacArthur and Joel Osteen, who lead them astray with Lordship Salvation. It is okay to listen to preachers and read books authored by men, but when it comes down to the final and only authority, you must base your assurance of eternal life upon God's inspired Words. I cannot assure you that you are going to Heaven someday. I can teach you what the inspired Word of God says, but you have to take God at His Word. SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!!

It is a matter of faith. Jesus said in Mark 11:22b, “Have faith in God.” That is why the Roman Catholic church is so popular, because it doesn't require any faith, everything is touch, taste and visible to the human eye. Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

I Feel Like I'll Never Be Right With God

Romans 4:3-7, For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Many people feel like living right as a Christian is hopeless. They struggle with condemning thoughts. They feel that no matter how hard they try, they cannot please God enough, because they fail again and again to live above sin. The truth is that every Christian feels that way sometimes. I feel like I'm a horrible Christian all the time. That is how we should feel. Since God is perfectly holy, it is normal that we (who are sinners by nature and by choice) should feel unholy in His presence. The Apostle Paul felt like a bad Christian, calling himself "wretched" (Romans 7:14-25). We are all wretched sinners. The difference is that we're all either saved or unsaved. Pastor Jack Hyles preached a helpful sermon called: "HOW TO BE RIGHT WITH GOD."

When we got saved, we were made right with God by the blood of Jesus. That is being right with God POSITIONALLY. Our position in God's family as His redeemed child was forever settled the day we got saved. That is very important to understand. So no matter how bad of a Christian we may be, or feel, we KNOW that in God's sight we are just as holy, perfect and sinless as Jesus Himself, because our sins were forgiven and cleansed away judicially at the moment of salvation. I love the Word “imputed,” which means that God credits Jesus' righteousness to us by faith the second we are saved.

Romans 4:3-7 (our text passage above) is one of my favorite Scripture passages, which you should mark in your Bible and commit to memory, so it will always be with you everywhere you go. This is the truth that the Lordship Salvation crowd do not understand, for if they did they'd never teach that someone must “repent of their sins to be saved. The Bible says that a person's FAITH is counted (imputed) for righteousness, so that we don't need to perform any righteous acts, nor to turn away from sins, to be saved. These are self-righteous works, which cancel grace. We are saved by God's grace and mercy through faith in Jesus' death on the cross, burial, and bodily resurrection three days later. That is the Gospel, or the Good News, by which we are saved if we simply believe it with childlike faith (1st Corinthians 15:1-6; Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 1:21).

Another one of my favorite passages of Scripture is:
Philippians 3:7-9, "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:"
That is so beautiful of a truth. We are not saved by our own righteousness, but by God's righteousness. The Bible says to BE FOUND IN HIM, CHRIST! This proves that repenting (turning away) from sins is not part of God's plan of salvation. Repentance is simple "a change of mind," realizing that we are guilty for breaking God's commandments in the Bible, and in need of redemption (Romans 3:19-20). Galatians 3:24-26 teaches that the LAW in the Old Testament is our teacher, showing us our sinnership. And then the law brings us to CHRIST in the New Testament, to be saved by God's free grace, which Jesus made possible through His shed blood on the cross.

Colossians 1:20, "And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven." God divided His Word into two parts: LAW and CHRIST, or respectively, LAW and GRACE. That is God's plan of salvation. Dr. Law shows us that we have terminal cancer, called sin; but then sends us to Dr. Grace (Jesus) to be healed, cleansed of all our sins by faith in His blood that He shed on the cross (1st John 1:7). Some people wrangle over whether we should trust the name of Jesus, or actually trust in His death, burial and resurrection, or should we trust in His blood. They are all one and the same. We trust the name of Jesus because of what He did on the cross to pay for our sins. We trust in the Good News of Christ's death, burial and resurrection, because Jesus did these things for us. So there is no way to separate all these things, they all go together.

No matter how much of a failure you may feel like as a Christian, remember that God's imputed righteousness to you (salvation), has absolutely NOTHING to do with how you choose to live here on earth (service). Our righteousness is based upon God's imputed righteousness, which is by faith alone, which we saw in Philippians 3:9. Also, Romans 10:3-4 teaches this great truth! So that is your POSITION in Christ, not your CONDITION.

Jesus said except a man receives the Kingdom of God, as a little child, he shall in no wise enter in. Children are humble, trusting and innocent. Adults are all messed up. Luke 18:17, “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Getting saved is a matter of humility, humbling ourselves at Jesus' feet to rely only upon Him to save us. Kindly said, many Jews and rich people are sinfully proud, so they refuse to humble themselves to trust Jesus. I have received some emails from people, saying that Jews will never accept the name of Jesus, so we have to use Yeshua instead to get them saved (which is an Old Testament term). That is a Devil's lie. Acts 4:10-12 says that salvation is NOT found in any other name, than the precious name of Jesus of Nazareth. I will never call the blessed Savior Yeshua,” because the angel announced to Joseph in a dream that the only begotten Son of God's name is “JESUS” (Matthew 1:21). If Jews are too proud to trust in the name of a humble carpenter from Nazareth, then they don't get God's grace! 1st Peter 2:5-7 says to those who believe, the name of “Jesus is precious! That's why I made my website called: JESUS IS PRECIOUS.ORG!!! I like that name.

I have battled depression for the past 14 years, since my wife divorced me in 2006. I have lived alone, not by choice, but simply because I've not been able to find a woman to date and hopefully marry. Guam is a small island, with few activities, and it's difficult to meet people here, especially for a fundamentalist Bible-believing Christian. I tried to move away in 2013, but it turned into a big disaster, and I came back broken and worn out in body and soul. It is a big burden for me to live each day alone, getting older each year, and seeing my life feeling so empty. My website ministry is the silver lining that keeps me going. We each suffer in different ways, and this is my burden.

The Harvest Baptist Church has cruelly turned me away, in 2014, 2017 and since, ostracizing and rejecting me because as a true friend I tried to help them, showing them THE TRUTH. They are using Devil's Bibles! Harvest is of the Devil. Bob Jones University is of the Devil. They are preaching the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation. I tried to help them, but they are pulling on the same rope as the Devil. God will punish them in Hell, as He did the religious phonies in Matthew 7:21-23, who said, “LORD, LORD” (there's your Lordship Salvation right there, which the Bible condemns). And those wicked people include ungodly ministers' Marty Herron, Jared Baldwin, Joe Hanson and Gary Walton, who are wolves in sheep's clothing in the pulpit today. I am preaching THE TRUTH! If you don't have a King James Bible, you don't have an inspired Holy Bible! If you think that anything more is required to be saved than simple childlike faith, then you are not a child of God.

Plus I suffer with constant chronic neck pain, which I've had since 2004 and get disability. The disability is a blessing, God willing. One day at a time. I am now 53. If I live to see it, I'll be 70 in a skip and a heartbeat. I have so much pain in my past, and in my soul, but if God can use all that to help others in Christ, then I am glad to suffer and be of use to my great Savior. I am so unworthy. I feel like Jacob who said in Genesis 32:10, "I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands." God is always good.

Here's another sermon by Pastor Jack Hyles, which is helpful, called: “GETTING HALF RIGHT WITH GOD.” Falling down is a part of the Christian life. Proverbs 24:16, "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief." The unsaved person wilfully lives in sins and doesn't even try to please God, but the child of God struggles, desiring to please God, but we get our priorities wrong and serve the flesh instead. Proverbs 14:14 says that "the backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways." We all try and fail, try and fail, and try and fail, as born-again Christians. There is no such thing as a Christian who has achieved sinlessness. We may attain living above reproach (so that others do not see our sins), but NO ONE has ever attained living above sin, except the sinless Lamb of God, Jesus (John 1:29; Hebrews 4:15). This is our CONDITION in Christ. Our POSITION was forever settled the moment we got saved, and nothing can change that, thankfully.

No one can condemn a believer, even if they are rotting in prison behind bars the rest of their life for a crime (Romans 8:34). The believer's sins are gone. The Bible says God separates our sins from us as far as the east is from the west. Psalms 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." That is because you can get on an airplane and fly east forever, but there will never come a time when you find west. Likewise, you can go east forever, and you'll never find west. But you can only go to the north pole, and then you'll be going south again. That is eternal security!!! These false teachers, like Pastor Phil Kidd, who say that if you're still living in sin you're not saved, are grace corrupters! Once saved, always saved, our POSITION in Christ is settled permanently. Now we need to focus on our CONDITION in Christ, which is up to us to submit to the Word of God and the indwelling Holy Spirit. This is discipleship.

Salvation is 100% dependent on God's faithfulness to keep His promise to save them that believe (Titus 1:2; 1st Corinthians 1:21; John 6:47); but discipleship is based 100% upon our faithfulness to obey God (Romans 12:1-2). Titus 2:12 says we "SHOULD" live godly in Christ Jesus, not must or will. God wants us to live right, but we will fail, fall and sin wilfully at times. All God expects of us is what Jesus told the adulterous woman in John chapter 8... "Go and sin no more!" He didn't mean that she would never sin again, but that she should try not to. This has nothing to do with salvation, which is solely of God.

One of my favorite Bible passages is found in Hebrews 4:10-11, which teaches that we get saved by RESTING in Jesus. Just as God ceased from His creative works on the seventh day, so also must we cease from our own self-righteousness, and rest completely in what Jesus did on the cross to pay for our sins. Salvation is so free, easy and simple when we accept these precious passages of Scripture at face value, not reading into them what the Bible does not teach. People who teach Lordship Salvation are guilty of reading into the Scriptures when God did not say.

There Is No Condemnation For Any Christian

Romans 8:33-37, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

This is one of my favorite passages of Scripture! There is no condemnation for any Christian believer. Romans 8:34 is a powerful Scripture, which is packed full of doctrine. In this one verse we see Christ's death, burial and resurrection, and His ascension into Heaven, where He is seated on the Father's right hand, interceding on behalf of every saint as our High Priest. Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.Amen, Jesus is our High Priest, Who ever liveth to make intercession for the saints.

Hebrews 7:25, “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” We come to Christ for salvation, and we follow after Christ for service. When you're talking about salvation, you're talking about receiving, not giving. Eternal life is a free gift!
“Can a child of God be disobedient? The answer has to be 'Yes' otherwise it is not faith alone in Christ alone.” —Pastor Ralph 'Yankee' Arnold
I hear corrupt preachers saying that if a professed Christian is still living in sin, that they didn't get the same grace they got. Such horrible preachers pervert grace, requiring people to live above reproach to prove they are really saved. The truth is that even the best Christians still commit sin every day. You may succeed at living above reproach, but no one can succeed at living above sin (Romans 7:14-25). Romans 8:34, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” This is a rhetorical question? The implied answer is clearly, “No,” because Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross, paying the price with His precious blood. 2nd Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt of sin we could not pay.

Jesus is the Author of eternal salvation. It could not be eternal if it was not perfect. Only that which is perfect is eternal!!! Hebrews 5:8-9, “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;” You can be justified because Jesus paid for your sins on the cross. When you make the Jesus Lord of your life to be saved, you are attempting to pay for your own sins. You cannot get to Heaven that way, because it is a counterfeit gospel. Either Jesus paid it all, or you don't go!

Salvation is a matter of you completely RESTING in Christ's finished work of redemption, and not you exerting effort to clean up your life of sin. What saith the Scripture? Hebrews 4:10-11, “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.I am astonished when I hear deceived preachers saying that adding turning away from sins to be saved is not considered works.” Are you kidding me? I heard Pastor Charles Lawson say that garbage. I heard Dr. Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University since 2014) say that garbage. These are unsaved reprobates in the pulpit, who sow tares among the wheat, preaching a false gospel of Lordship Salvation.

Turning away from sinful behavior is absolutely a WORK! God offers His free gift of eternal life only to those who cease from all their works, as God ceased from His labors on the seventh day of creation. That is exactly what is meant in Hebrews 6:1-2, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” A man repents from his DEAD WORKS, placing his faith in God to do His will to be saved. John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Dead works include both good and bad works alike. We are not saved by works! Salvation is not me meaning business, it is God meaning business. God promises to save them that believe (1st Corinthians 1:21b).

The entire purpose of the Old Testament Sabbath Day was to picture salvation in Christ alone by faith. That is so simple! On the seventh day God completely rested. God did no work at all on the Sabbath. His work was DONE! Yet these wicked preachers today—like Rick Warren, Steve Pettit, Sam Horn, R.C. Sproul, Charles Lawson, Chip Ingram, William Lane Craig, Beth Moore, Paul Washer, John Piper, Marty Herron, Ray Comfort and John MacArthur, to name but a few—errantly teach that to be saved you MUST “repent of your sin,” meaning that you MUST “turn from your sinful behavior.” How is that resting in Christ? Jesus died on the cross to pay our debt, so that we wouldn't have to in Hell burning forever.

For these corrupters of grace to say that turning from sin is not a work, would be equally as ridiculous if I told you that the birthday gift I just gave you is indeed free, but to keep it you must make an effort to keep your room clean from now on. Would that genuinely be a gift? No, it would then become a reward for keeping your room clean. Using their faulty reasoning, we could contend that a person who is blessed to receive a free gift, if they are truly sincere, will show their gratitude by making an effort to please you, the giver. Likewise, these corrupters of grace say that if a person is really saved, then we will see a change in their life and behavior. Somewhere along the way these dear folks lost sight of the truth that eternal life is a gift. In fact, the Bible even uses the phrase free gift multiple times in Romans 5:15-18.
