Calvinism And Grace Are Not Compatible

Romans 3:24-26, “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” Titus 3:7, “That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

One of my Facebook visitors recently got upset with me for teaching the doctrine of “ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED (OSAS). Well, like it or not friend OSAS is exactly what the inspired King James Bible teaches!!! Here is what this unsaved religious man believes:

“I don’t believe in once saved always saved. I do believe in once saved always saved if one continues in repentance enduring to the end, or another way to say it is deny yourself pick up tour cross daily mortifying the deeds of the body.” (source)

Dear reader, that is a 100% works-based counterfeit plan of salvation! The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. We do not get saved by repenting, we get saved by BELIEVING! The guy who posted the preceding heresy has been deceived by Satan, errantly thinking that “repentance means “to turn away from sin” to be saved. This is the Devil's lie that Evangelist Ray Comfort preaches! John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” No where in the Holy Bible are we taught that eternal life will come in the future; but rather, Jesus promised that whosoever BELIEVES on Him HATH (now and forever) ETERNAL LIFE!!!

Eternal life once given by God, cannot be lost for any reason, because it is a gift. John 10:28-29, And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.” Calvinists and other heretics, who claim that you must continue repenting to be saved (aka, the perseverance of the saints), are pulling on the same rope as the Devil. The Word of God is very clear, as I just showed you, that once a person receives eternal life by faith, it is a DONE DEAL LUCILLE!

Galatians 3:1-3, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Kindly said, the guy who posted the earlier quote on Facebook, about having to continue repenting to know that you're saved, is a child of Satan. There is no way that he is confused but still saved. If you have the wrong mindset friend, then you are NOT saved. In the preceding Scripture passage, the Apostle Paul is upset with the churches of Galatia, because they had been infiltrated by a works-based cult. Paul had previously started these churches in Galatia, then moved on in his missionary journey to start more churches. But he received word that heresy had crept into these churches, corrupting them, turning them away from the hope of the Gospel of free grace. Calvinism is of the Devil.

Anybody who says that you cannot KNOW right now, 100% that you are saved securely and forever, is a liar! Forgiveness of sin and eternal life are the solemn promise of almighty God (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). 1st Corinthians 1:21b promises salvation “TO THEM THAT BELIEVE. No mention is made of living a LIFESTYLE to get to Heaven. Dr. Steve Pettit (the ecumenical and theologically corrupt president of Bob Jones University since 2014) is a child of the Devil, who preaches the Calvinist lie that you must live a lifestyle to be saved. The Apostle Paul plainly declares THE GOSPEL in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 as Christ's DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION. This is the GOOD NEWS by which we are saved, if we BELIEVE it! (cf. Romans 1:16).

So Paul writes his Epistle, calling them “fools” for starting out in faith, but then adding works. This clearly shows that they were never saved at all, but misunderstood from the beginning. A genuine believer CANNOT be moved away from the truth of the Gospel. I got saved at age 13 and I have never been led astray by a false gospel. You DON'T have to continue anything to be saved. Once you put your trust in Christ, God seals you with His blessed Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). You are now and forever a redeemed child of God.

Beware of the Satanic lie that says you are saved by grace, but then when you get saved you must live a certain way—do this, stop that, continue doing this, forsake that, et cetera. That is a false plan of salvation, which is another gospel that cannot produce the new birth in Christ.

Either God does the saving, all of it, or else you don't get grace!!! ...

Why Lordship Salvation Is Wrong (Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold)

I'm Sick Of This Lordship Salvation Mess (Pastor Jack Hyles)

Is Lordship Salvation a Counterfeit form of the Gospel Message? (Dr. Lindstrom)

Here is one of my very favorite sermons by Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold called: “Calvinism And Grace Are Not Compatible!” ...

“Calvinism And Grace Are Not Compatible!
(by Pastor Ralph "Yankee" Arnold)

Another one of my favorite preachers is Dr. Hank Lindstrom (1940-2008), who was the longtime faithful founding pastor of Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida for 42 years. Pastor Lindstrom is best known for this tremendous sermon called: "HOW PERMANENT IS YOUR SALVATION"...

HOW PERMANENT IS YOUR SALVATION
(by Pastor Hank Lindstrom)

You CANNOT backslide out of your salvation! IT IS GOD'S SALVATION according to Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” To go to Heaven, you need GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! You get His righteousness by faith. That is what Jesus means in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” We need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, the imputed righteousness of God by faith (Romans 4:4-7).

Getting saved is a matter of JUSTIFICATION by God, through faith alone (Romans 4:4-7). The life we live after we get saved is a matter of SANCTIFICATION, as we grow in God's grace (John 17:17; 1st Peter 2:2). Grace was not "cheap," it cost God His only begotten Son (John 3:16), and it cost Jesus His own life (John 10:17). It is important to understand that the unsaved man is still under the curse of Old Testament LAW. Galatians 3:13, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

But the believer is now and forever under God's GRACE, so that when we sin as saints, God's "GRACE DID MUCH MORE ABOUND" (Romans 5:20b). Acts 13:39b says that every believer is freely "JUSTIFIED FROM ALL THINGS." Yes, a believer CAN live like the Devil and still go to Heaven, because eternal life is a gift (Romans 6:23). If we were obligated in any way to give up sins, surrender to serve and follow Christ, or do good works, then salvation could not be by grace (Romans 11:6). Now, this does not give any believer God's permission nor blessing to willfully sin. Romans 3:31, "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."

Jesus didn't come to do away with the law, He came to fulfil the law (Matthew 5:17). Jesus did what no man in history has ever done, He perfectly fulfilled the law. That is why Christ was acceptable as the sacrificial Lamb of God for the sins of the whole world (John 1:29; 1st John 2:2). God is not an absent Father, He scourges and chastises His disobedient children (Hebrews 12:6-8). I think "Pilgrim's Progress" author John Bunyan (1628-1688) said it best:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without, and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —Evangelist John Bunyan
So we MUST keep justification without by faith, completely separate from sanctification within by the Holy Spirit. To combine and confuse these two things is a counterfeit plan of salvation, because then the focus becomes YOU instead of JESUS. I am not accepted by God for what I do. I am accepted by faith for what Jesus has already done through the cross of Calvary. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.
“You are not going to be lost when you get to Hell. If you are without Christ, you are lost right now. Your trial is already over. You’ve already been sentenced. You’re just waiting for execution morning to roll around.” —Brother Lester Roloff
A genuine born-again believer has the mindset that CHRIST PAID IT ALL, and my only part in salvation is to cease from my own efforts (works) and REST completely in Christ (Hebrews 4:10-11). Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.
“More people will die and burn in Hell, because they're trusting too much!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Yea, Yea, And Nay, Nay!

“Everything that's hard and complicated about salvation is God's side of it!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Yea, Yea, And Nay, Nay!
