Following Jesus Is Not The Way Of Salvation

Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

All across the world today, countless millions of people are following Jesus, as did Ravi Zacharias, devoutly so. But when you examine What Ravi Zacharias taught, it is very disturbing and unbiblical. In a YouTube video titled: “How Can Someone Receive Jesus' Gift Of Salvation?,” Ravi says the following to have a relationship with Jesus:

“In fact when Jesus comes into your life, he helps you cross the greatest bridge, from the head to the heart. I experienced that at the age 17. The fact that I could pray and invite Jesus Christ into my life—a simple prayer—asking Him to become my Savior, and the transformation He brought; how He changed not only my life, but years later my father's life. And I would like you, to bow your head and with me repeat a simple prayer, if you want this to happen in your life. Just pray with me one sentence at a time:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. I need your forgiveness. I need your salvation. Lord Jesus, enter into my heart. Change me. Give me with your presence. Help me to follow you. I receive you, this moment, and commit my life to you. Thank you Father. In Jesus' name, Amen!”—'How Can Someone Receive Jesus' Gift Of Salvation?'

Folks, that is not THE GOSPEL! Let's break down Ravi's unbiblical plan of salvation and list his requirements to be saved:

Repeat a prayer
Invite Christ into your life
Ask Jesus to become your Savior
Thank God for loving you
Tell God you need forgiveness
Tell God you need His salvation
Ask Jesus to enter into your heart
Ask Jesus to change you
Ask Jesus to give you His presence
Ask Jesus to help you follow Him
Receive Jesus
Commit your life to Jesus

Wow! Ravi Zacharias gives 12 THINGS to do in his suggested prayer to be saved. Did you notice the BIGGEST MISTAKE Ravi made? He left out “THE GOSPEL” entirely! Ravi doesn't even mention Jesus dying on the cross to pay for our sins. Ravi doesn't mention Christ's DEATH, BURIAL nor RESURRECTION. I mean, that is “THE GOSPEL” after all, but he leaves it off completely!!! That is why I justly call Ravi “a devil dog preacher!” Look at the type of shallow garbage that Ravi's ministry promotes! You don't get to Heaven by starting “a relationship” with Jesus. Judas had a relationship with Jesus, but went to Hell. The Bible says in John 3:7, “YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN”!!!

I am saddened that in June of 2017, the shameful pastors of the apostate Harvest Baptist Church on Guam invited, promoted, honored, and BID GODSPEED to this wicked man who teaches doctrines of devils!!! 1st Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” I understand that there is something called “semantics,” where different preachers each word the plan of salvation a little differently, but Ravi MISSES THE BALLPARK COMPLETELY!!!

The way of salvation is through faith alone in the person of Jesus Christ. To be saved you need to know the WHO, WHAT and WHY...

WHO - Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God
WHAT - Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried and resurrected three days later for our justification.
WHY - We are all hell-deserving sinners, but Christ paid our debt of sin with His blood.

If you believe these things, trusting the name of Jesus alone, you have eternal life. 1st John 5:20 says that JESUS IS GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE. So if you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, then you have eternal life abiding in you! Eternal security and assurance of salvation are not different doctrines than eternal life, they are all one and the same truth! It would be very easy to simply follow Jesus your entire life, having a false assurance that you are on your way to Heaven, like being in the calm eye of a hurricane.

A demon's favorite activity is to make lost religious people feel comfortable. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life, without ever being born-again. No one, regardless of how religious or how much they love God, can enter into the Kingdom Of God, unless they are born-again (John 3:1-7). The new birth is not optional, it is a commandment to all humanity. That is what is meant in Acts 17:30b by saying that God “commandeth all men every where to repent:”

Harvest Baptist Church on Guam sinfully drove me out of their church in 2014, and has since banned and ostracized me from returning, because I loved them enough to TELL THE TRUTH!!! They are my neighbours across the street! I love them unconditionally with God's love, but they are pulling on the same rope as the Devil. If they don't want to accept me as a part of their family for the sake of love at Harvest, then I will expose them for the sake of truth! People just want to be loved. I sure do! When churchgoers are more loyal to ungodly ministers and tradition, than to God and truth, apostasy has overtaken that church! Christianity in America has sadly deteriorated into a mere stinking money-making business nowadays! The Bob Jones University crowd wreak with the stench of falsehoods, heresy, favoritism, prejudice and carnality. Christian author Michael P. Bowen said it best:
