The Deadly Arrogance Of False Teachers

Proverbs 16:2, “All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.” 

Proverbs 16:5, “Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.”

Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

One of the central themes of the inspired Holy Bible is the reality of deception. Here are a few applicable passages from the Old Testament about LYING WORDS:

Jeremiah 7:4, “Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.”

The Israelites in the Old Testament rebelled against God. Instead of heeding THE TRUTH spoken by the prophets from the Lord, they succumbed to the LYING WORDS of false prophets by choice. The wicked people even claimed to being doing “God's will” while committing the sins of adultery, murder, bearing false witness and idolatry:

Jeremiah 7:8-10, “Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?”

The rotten false prophets spoke LYING WORDS, which God didn't tell them to speak: 

Jeremiah 29:23, “Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.”

Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”

Proverbs 20:6, “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?”

If we put all these precious Scripture passages together, we clearly have a Biblical condemnation of the Devil's LYING WORDS of Calvinism (aka, Lordship Salvation) today. What is “Lordship Salvation?” It is the demonic false teaching that faith alone is not enough to get to Heaven, but in addition, works are required to prove that one's faith is real. Lordship Salvation is a heresy that says more than accepting Christ as one's personal Savior is necessary to be saved. What saith the Scripture? Acts 16:30-31, “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” The man who BELIEVES the Gospel (i.e., the Good News) of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and bodily ressurected the third day is saved (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

According to the LYING WORDS of Lordship Salvation, to get to Heaven a person must surrender all to Christ as absolute Lord (Master) of your life, so that you turn away from your sinful behavior and follow Jesus no matter what the cost for the rest of your life. To see what I mean, please read the Satanic false plan of salvation of Dr. Steve Pettit (incompetent president of Bob Jones University since 2014). This heretic gets paid upwards of $200,000 a year for preaching another gospel, damning the souls of thousands of BJU students, and tens of thousands of more souls from the people they will adversely influence after the graduate from that cesspool of iniquity at Bob Jones University (BJU). Woe unto BJU (Galatians 2:6-9; 3:1-3; 5:4, 6:7).

I have made it my business since 2014, when I discovered how rotten to the core the Bob Jones University camp is, to expose them all as infidels and false prophets! It was at the shameful corrupt Harvest Baptist Church on Guam that I found out how deep the rabbit hole goes! Their shameful senior pastor, Marty Herron, kicked me out of church and banned me from returning because I befriended them with THE TRUTH. I was also going through a crisis in my own personal life, desperate to be loved by a local church family, but that wicked infidel Marty Herron left me for dead, smiling from ear to ear as he cut my throat, hurt me and my family, wickedly influenced church members to ostracize me in the local Guam community, and threw me under the bus to suffer. God will avenge me of that ungodly horrible pastor, Marty Herron (Romans 12:19-21).

I told THE TRUTH that Lordship Salvation is another gospel, which cannot produce the new birth by the Holy Spirit of God. The King James Bible very clearly teaches that you cannot get to Heaven through Lordship Salvation:

Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

One of my favorite Christian books is by Michael P. Bowen, titled: “I NEVER KNEW YOU,” in which the author exposes the heresy of Lordship Salvation:

...Nowhere does the bible state or imply that a person must turn from their sins and follow Christ in obedience “in order to” be saved. People can twist the bible to make it say virtually anything they want it to say, but when you see the words of Christ and understand what He says about salvation, no one can refute or debate what He says. For example, Jesus says “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life” (John 6:47). Who can argue with that statement made by Christ Himself? Who can interpret this verse as anything other than eternal life being a gift from God made available to anyone the instant they “believe” on Christ as their savior? To say otherwise is to call Him a liar. To add man’s efforts, such as turning from sins, making a public profession, forsaking sins, giving tithes and money, joining a church, etc., or any other “thing of self” is to call Christ a liar; after all, according to the bible, heaven is a free gift that is given to the individual who places his or her faith in the finished work of Christ and has nothing to do whatsoever with what we do for God. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

On pages 140-141 we learn that the Christian believer by faith alone in Jesus Christ is “JUSTIFIED FROM ALL THINGS”! Michael Bowen Biblically (and gentlemanly) refutes Evangelist Billy Graham's perverted plan of salvation (I highly recommend that you read chapter 13, which refutes Billy Graham's false gospel message).

I have personally warned the Bob Jones University camp umpteen times. I have written and published over 1,000 articles, blogs and social media posts to identify, rebuke and warn everyone about the deadly rotten cult at BJU today. Galatians 1:6-9 is very clear that there is only ONE GOSPEL, not two or more. Yet, BJU would have us to believe that it doesn't really matter what we preach about how to get to Heaven, just so long as we include faith at some point. Dear reader, faith is not faith if it must include works!!!

Nearly every preacher gets the Epistle of James wrong, misinterpreting what James meant in James 2:17-18, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” The ignoramus preacher foolishly misunderstands this passage to mean that you must perform good works to prove the genuineness of the reality of your faith. Those are the exact words used by the Bob Jones crowd...

“For the real reality of the genuineness of your faith is that you are faithful to run the race!” —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 22:44)

Dr. Pettit errantly says (as you can read for yourself in this article that I wrote to expose him) that we must faithful RUN THE RACE (live the Christian life) until the end of our time on earth to receive THE REWARD, which Pettit errantly says is HEAVEN ITSELF. Those are his very words! So according to Mr. Pettit, no one can write down their name, place and date you got saved, because you won't know for sure if you're going to Heaven until you've proven that your faith is genuine and real, by living the Christian life. That is another gospel of damnation!

Evangelist Michael P. Bowen is absolutely correct, who states in his helpful book: “I Never Knew You” that: “Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again.” That is what Seventh-Day Adventists are horribly doing! SDA's will subtly tell everyone that salvation is “by faith,” which naïve believers then consider SDA's to be true saints. But what most Christians aren't skilled enough in the inspired Word of God to know, is that SDA's have the same corrupt misunderstanding of faith as does the Bob Jones University cult, which is that faith must include works to be genuine real faith. It doesn't!

I absolutely love and appreciate what Pilgrim's Progress author John Bunyan (1628-1688) said, which clarifies this delicate theological matter:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” 

Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1968) effectively said the very same thing, but in these different words:

“There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness.” —Pastor M.R. DeHaan, Hebrews; Zondervan Publishing House, 1959 (p. 117).

Do you see the drastic and clear DIFFERENCE between justification (salvation) wrought without by the man Christ, versus the sanctification (growing in grace) wrought within every born-again believer by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9; 1st John 3:24)? I am confident that you do. God saves a man by faith alone, which is strictly a legal matter (Romans 4:4-7; 1st John 2:2); and then the indwelling Holy Spirit continues to work on that redeemed child of God to change him, but we must yield to the Spirit's leading if we are to grow (1st Peter 2:2; Romans 12:1-2). We see in 1st Corinthians 3:15 a clear example of a saint who DIDN'T grow, and he lived such a wasteful life on earth that all his works of wood, hay and stubble were burned. He was “saved; yet so as by fire.” That is, he just escaped Hell.

This important truth is further confirmed by 1st Corinthians 5:5 (regarding the man living in open sinful fornication), “To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” We later learn in the Epistle of 2nd Corinthians that this Christian man repented of his sinful lifestyle, but if HE HADN'T, the apostle makes very clear that his spirit would still have been saved in the Day of Christ (i.e., Christ's return).

These deadly and arrogant false teachers today; namely, Ray Comfort, Steve Pettit, Marty Herron (now destroying lives as executive vice president of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Iowa), Gary Walton (new pastor of the corrupt Harvest Baptist Church on Guam), Sam Horn (president of John MacArthur's Master's University), John MacArthur, Chuck Phelps (corrupt pastor of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indiana) and thousands more unsaved infidels are of the Devil. Their gospel is not the Apostle Paul's Gospel as defined in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 (i.e., Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection the third day).

Instead, their false gospel is that you must forsake a lifestyle of sinning (which is trying to keep the Mosaic law to be saved - Romans 3:19-20). No one has ever been saved through keeping the Old Testament Mosaic law. The primary purpose of the law is to give mankind THE KNOWLEDGE THAT WE ARE GUILTY SINNERS (Romans 3:19-20). This knowledge is intended by God to BRING US TO CHRIST to be saved by faith alone (Galatians 3:24-26). That is God's simple plan of salvation, not turning away from your sinning, which is a false gospel. All of the wicked aforementioned false teachers will tell you that to get to Heaven you cannot merely accept Christ as Savior and that's it! They all wickedly say that MORE IS REQUIRED OF YOU!

Please remember friend: The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. “YOU” has no place in getting saved! What saith the Scripture? ...

Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

IF you are saved (i.e., have entered into God's rest), then you have CEASED from your own works. That means you are NOT trying to clean up your life, faithfully run the race, endure unto the end, live a lifestyle of repentance, turn away from sins, surrender all to Christ as “Lord,” follow Jesus no matter what, invite Christ into your life, give your life to Christ, nor any other foolish tommyrot that has NOTHING to do with the Gospel of free grace taught in the Gospel of John and 1st Corinthians 15:1-4...

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

There it is: “THE GOSPEL”:

1. Christ DIED on the cross for our sins.
2. He was BURIED.
3. Jesus RESURRECTED three days later from the dead.

Anybody who comes to God as a guilty sinner (you've got to know what you're being saved from and why you need a Savior), receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that Christ was buried but is risen bodily from the dead is saved!!! It's that easy, free and simple to go to Heaven dear friend (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). JUST BELIEVE THE GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!

There is no greater crime in God's sight than to preach a false gospel. As heinous and disgusting as serial killers are to any normal person, those ungodly criminals are not as bad and guilty as those ungodly pastors who preach another gospel which dooms men's souls to Hell for everlasting damnation. What saith the Scripture? Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Wicked men may kill your body, ending your earthly life; but God will cast every unbeliever into everlasting hell, fire and damnation.

No matter who you are dear reader, there are only TWO WAYS you can die...

YOU CAN:

1. DIE IN THE LORD (Revelation 14:13, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”)
2. DIE IN YOUR SINS (John 8:24, “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”)

I love the following passage of Scripture:

Proverbs 26:4-5, “Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.”

The preceding Bible verses simply mean that we need to season our words with grace, being conscious of the words we speak. Jesus warned that all men will give account in eternity for their words (Matthew 12:36).

Proverbs 26:4 means not to agree with someone's foolish talk. As humans we all tend to want to be agreeable with others. I know that I do. So if someone is speaking lies, telling dirty jokes at work, preaching a false plan of salvation, intending to commit a crime, et cetera, we ought not be complicit, lest we become partaker of their evil deeds. One of the reasons why Bob Jones University and their graduates are so messed up is because of indifferent, shallow and compromised places like Pensacola Christian College (PCC), who refuse to refute BJU's damnable heresy and use of the Devil's Bibles.

Instead they shamefully hire each other's graduates, send students to each other's schools and dip their sails in sinful compromise, refusing to contend for the faith and in so doing make enemies. PCC doesn't want to suffer reproach for the name of Jesus (2nd Timothy 3:12). PCC doesn't want to be like me, outside the gate with Jesus. So they criticize my ministry instead, which is what Pastor Jeff Redlin shamefully did to me in July of 2021. In so doing, Redlin condemned the Lord, because I am his servant. Sadly, Jeff Redlin only serves his BELLY (Romans 16:17-18). I have often hoped that Pastor Redlin would contact me (he has my email) so we could become friends, but he is arrogant and proud, full of his rich man's ego. The guy gets paid well over $100,000 a year as senior pastor of Campus Church. It is sad.

Proverbs 26:5 means to SPEAK UP to disagree and if need be, firmly rebuke them. If I hear someone sharing a false gospel, I am going to kindly tell them that the Bible says they're wrong. If nothing else, I will speak up for the sake of others who may be listening to their false teachings. We should take a stand against falsehoods, evil and corruption. I call it “nipping it in the bud.” We need to expose all false teachers concerning the Gospel, because life is short, Hell is hot and eternity is a long time! ...

I really love the book of Proverbs! Proverbs 27:5, “Open rebuke is better than secret love.” I often rebuke false teachers! I don't enjoy making enemies in the Bob Jones University camp by exposing them, but I do greatly enjoy contending for the Christian faith (Jude 1:3; Titus 1:9-14). I don't have to give account to BJU one day, I have to give account to God (Romans 14:10-12). I am commanded in 2nd Timothy 4:2, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”

The Bible warns that PRIDE goeth before destruction. I have warned Marty Herron, Gary Walton, Steve Pettit and the whole rotten Bob Jones University cult with their headquarters based in Greenville, South Carolina, but they are chock full to the gills with stinking pride!!! I say that with a broken heart, God knows I speak THE TRUTH.

Oh how I wish they would repent and go back to Bethel (Genesis 35:15). Bethel was the sacred place where God first met with Jacob, where Jacob made his vow to God, but later forgat it. So God remembered Jacob's vow and decades later told Jacob to return. 

The Lord’s final visit with Jacob is recorded in Genesis 35.  By that time, Jacob and his household had settled near Shechem (located north of Shiloh, just below Mount Gerizim).  At least thirty years had passed since Jacob made his vow in Bethel; around ten years had passed since he returned to the Promised Land.  Yet Jacob still hadn’t returned to Bethel to fulfill his vow.  Perhaps Jacob had become too comfortable where he settled, or perhaps he had forgotten his promise at Bethel.  In any case, the Lord hadn’t forgotten. ...God came and spoke to Jacob, commanding him to return to Bethel and to make an altar to God who appeared to him when he fled from Esau decades earlier.  Jacob ordered his family and all who were with him to put away their foreign gods and purify themselves, for they were going to Bethel.  They handed over their idols and earrings used in idolatry, and Jacob hid them under the oak (or terebinth) near Shechem.  As Jacob and his party traveled, God brought a great terror upon the nearby cities so that none of the inhabitants would move against the patriarch’s family.  Eventually, Jacob and all who were with him arrived safely in Bethel (vv. 1–6).  Even though Jacob had neglected his vow, the Lord continued to protect him and his family. Go back to Bethel! We need a revival in Christianity across America!!! Today's preachers (whether they be school administrators, Bible professors, missionaries, evangelists, pastors, et cetera) all need to GO BACK TO BETHEL. They need to fulfill their vow as ministers to faithfully serve God--by contending for the faith, exposing false prophets, preaching THE TRUTH and loving people with God's unconditional love. We all need to get right with God!!!

It is tragic that the clergy has been diminished to a mere profession instead of a divine calling from God. Today's preachers have horribly dropped the ball for God, going along with false prophets instead of exposing them! Case in point is Pastor Robert Jeffress (shameful pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas) who promotes and bids Godspeed to that evil Jezebel false prophetess' Joyce Meyer. It is wickedness and apostasy!!!

False knowledge is more dangerous than ignorance! God's men are commanded to REBUKE THEM SHARPLY who subvert families with a false plan of salvation (Titus 1:9-14).
