Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
I learned this week about a dangerous false teacher named Isaiah Saldivar, who preachers ANOTHER GOSPEL. Sadly, at present, his YouTube channel has 357,000 subscribers. In the following heretical video, Evangelist Isaiah Saldivar preaches a false plan of salvation, promoting the Devil's deadly lie of Lordship Salvation...
Dangerous False Prophet Isaiah Saldivar!
- Repent of your sins. Stop getting drunk. Stop chasing women. Turn away from everything sinful and wrong. You must forsake the old sinful lifestyle to be saved!
- Let God's power rest on you. You must have a new attitude from now on, that it is all about Jesus and not about you.
- Put your faith in Christ.
Kindly said, what Isaiah is preaching is NOT the Gospel. Paul explains the Gospel in I Corinthians 15:1-4, which is Christ's death, burial and resurrection. The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31. John chapter's 19 and 20 teach of Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection. This is the GOOD NEWS (Gospel), by which all who BELIEVE are saved. Turning away from sinful ways is a false gospel. That is keeping the Old Testament law to be saved, which is heresy (Romans 3:19-20).
We simply cease from our own works, and REST completely in the finished work of the Lamb of God (Hebrews 4:10-11). Lordship Salvation is of the Devil. You get saved by trusting in the name of Jesus as your SAVIOR, with childlike faith, receiving His sacrifice on the cross as full-payment for your sins, believing that He is risen from the dead (I Thessalonians 4:14). Then AFTER you get saved, as His redeemed child God wants you to make a second decision to surrender your life to Jesus as your "Lord." We see this truth evidenced in Romans 12:1-2 and Matthew 19:29.
If Lordship Salvation is the truth, then the carnal men in I Corinthians 3:15 and 5:1-5 could never have been saved at all. In the Gospel of John, we find the word "believe" mentioned 88 times in the King James Bible (the only Bible which you can trust today in the English language). But the words and phrases: "repent" and "confess" and "turn from your sins" and "surrender to Christ as Lord" and "Follow Jesus" aren't mentioned even once! That speaks volumes. To be saved, the Bible simply teaches for guilty sinners to: "BELIEVE ON HIM" (John 6:28-29; 40).
Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!
Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.
Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.
If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?
The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.
FAITH is the only righteous thing that I can do.

I think Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965), said it best: "There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." ~M.R. DeHaan, "Hebrews"; Zondervan Publishing House, 1959 (p. 117)Isaiah is making the fatal error of mixing sanctification with justification. I love what Pilgrim's Progress author, John Bunyan, said:
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)
Isaiah is casting stumbling blocks before the people, corrupting the Word of God. Since he is young and energetic, and produce YouTube videos with captivating topics, tens of thousands of young people are following him. His average viewers per YouTube video is 25,000 to 35,000 visitors. Isaiah is quickly increasing in popularity. What saith the Scripture? ...
2nd Timothy 4:2-4, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
Again, what Evangelist Isaiah Saldivar is preaching is typical hardcore Lordship Salvation, and not even close to the free grace Gospel taught in the inspired King James Bible. Lordship Salvation DOESN'T fall within the realm of orthodox theology, it is damnable heresy, accursed by God. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.
I sincerely hope that Isaiah Saldivar's eyes are opened to the light of the truth of the Gospel of free grace before it is too late. Thank you all for reading.
