There Will Be A Famine Of God's Word In The Last Days

Amos 8:11-12, “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.”

God is sending a famine of His Word, just as He said He would. Why would God do that? Simply because Americans stopped listening to God a long time ago, so He is removing the truth from our land as judgment upon our nation. ...

WASHINGTON, D.C. —Fewer than one in four Americans (24%) now believe the Bible is "the actual word of God, and is to be taken literally, word for word," similar to the 26% who view it as "a book of fables, legends, history and moral precepts recorded by man." This is the first time in Gallup's four-decade trend that biblical literalism has not surpassed biblical skepticism. Meanwhile, about half of Americans—a proportion largely unchanged over the years—fall in the middle, saying the Bible is the inspired word of God but that not all of it should be taken literally.

As our churches stray further away from belief in an infallible, inspired and perfect Holy Bible, the farther our nation descends down a reckless spiral of sin, despair and destruction! Our text prophetic Scripture passage from Amos 8:11-12 foretells of a coming famine of God's Word.

Isaiah 6:10, “Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”

Here is the full Old Testament passage from which which helps shed some light on the meaning of verse 6:

Isaiah 6:8-12, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.”

Put another way, the same sun that melts the wax hardens the clay! Why is it that two men hear the same exact Bible truth preached, but one man receives it and the other rejects it? I cannot tell you why. I am not a Calvinist! All 5-points of Calvinism are falsehoods. God doesn't choose who gets saved or who doesn't. God simply chose us because we chose Jesus Christ.

Calvinism lie = They believe, because they were chosen.
The truth = We were chosen, because we believe!

In sharp contrast, the inspired King James Bible says to repent toward God, not change our life AS we turn toward God. What frauds! What con artists! What devils!!! Apostate Bible colleges have ruined tens of thousands of youth, robbing them of the infallibility and inspiration of God's Word. Today's horrible Neo-evangelical and Neo-fundamental Bible colleges have robbed the saints of their faith.

Dear friend, I cannot encourage you enough to use only the inspired KING JAMES BIBLE! If it is more difficult for you to understand, get you a good Bible dictionary, lexicon and concordance. You can find these tools for FREE on the internet. We are at war spiritually today more than every before! I encourage the saints to run to the King James Bible like a starving man running to some food!!!
