Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.”
I love clams. We don't have New York style baked clams on Guam, as they do in the states in many places. I sure love them, but haven't had any since I visited West Hollywood in 2009 for my first neck surgery. I found an Italian restaurant that served them, and they were so good. I love the breading that they put over the clams, and squeezing lemon onto them.
So I was shopping in the grocery store the other day and saw a can of clam chowder soup. The photo on the can looked so appetizing, showing clam in every bite. The soup in the photo looked thick and creamy. In the photo there was at least a full cup of fresh cooked diced clams in the bowl, but when I opened the can at home there was at most about a single teaspoon of clams, and the broth was watery. It was a big disappointment. The company lied. The folks at Bumblebee are liars! Their product is fraudulently advertised.
I know this is a strange title for an article, but I thought it appropriate to use an an illustration of today's fake Bible versions, which fall way short of what they advertise. Counterfeit versions, like the English Standard Version (ESV), falsely claim to be a literal translation. A literal translation of what? The ESV literally translates the perverse Greek of Westcott and Hort! Just like the crooked and dishonest Bumblebee company, who tricked me with false advertising to purchase their inferior product, so also do the publishers of the ESV trick people so that they'll buy their inferior Bible version.
The serpent (i.e., the Devil according to Revelation 20:2) did the very same thing to Eve in the Garden of Eden. The serpent told Eve that God lied to her. The serpent assured her that if she ate the forbidden fruit, her eyes (singular, “eye,” in the Hebrew) would be opened. Satan assured Eve that God didn't want her to know this inside information, lest she become as God herself, knowing good from evil. When Eve got what the serpent promised, it wasn't what she expected. Not at all. The serpent was the world's first con artist, and Eve the first sucker!
That reminds me of something horrible that a shady seller did to someone on e-bay years ago. The seller showed a photo of a Nintendo 64 video game system with the controllers and power adapter. Someone bought it. When the buyer received what he paid hundreds of dollars to receive, it was merely a photo of what he had bid on and purchased. Thankfully e-bay returned his money and terminated the shady seller. But that is what the serpent did to Eve. She was horrified when she realized that her new reality didn't match her prior fantasy! In her sinful discontentment, in an effort to have more than she already had (Paradise), she lost everything! From that day forward both Adam and Eve would experience pain, toil, sweat, loss, suffering, regret and ultimately death. Oh how Satan is a beautiful liar!
Whether it be the liars at Bumblebee foods, or the liars who publish the corrupt modern Bible revisions, a liar is a liar! John 8:44, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” We live in a society of liars in America! Lawyers are notorious liars. Realtors are shady. Software companies horribly lie to people all the time, advertising a free download of their program, but then after you install it they won't let you use it unless you pay money for it!
I am perplexed that there are still ignorant Bible professors out there who defend the modern Bible revisions. One such man is Daniel B. Wallace, a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. Daniel wrote this off base article, defending the corrupt modern versions. Wallace completely ignores the fact that Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort were occultists, total heathen reprobates concerning the faith. Just like drug addicts, occultists cannot be trusted!
Wallace also downplays the homosexual influence on the New International Version (NIV), whitewashing Virginia Mollenkott, a lesbian literary critic on the translating committee. But Wallace totally fails to mention Marten Woudstra, the openly homosexual chairman of the Old Testament committee!!! Unbelievably, in his misleading article, Wallace denies that there is a social agenda driving the gender-inclusive translations today. Daniel is very wrong! We are entering into a dark new age! Only a person in total denial, would claim that today's new perverse Bible revisions (that are gender-inclusive) are not following an ungodly social agenda. Is Wallace serious? Even a blind man can see that Satan's fingerprints are all over the modern Bible revisions!
Wallace doesn't think that the King James Bible is perfect. Yet God promised in Psalms 12:6-7 to preserve His very pure Words forever (Psalms 119:140). If we don't have God's perfect Words somewhere in this world today, then God is also a liar! I don't think God lied. Most Christians believe that God can do anything, except give us a perfect Bible! To no surprise, all of the Devil's Bible revisions change and corrupt God's promise in Psalms 12:6-7 to give us a preserved perfect Bible, which evidences that they know they're corrupting God's Word.
I am sick of liars—whether it be the dishonest executives at Bumblebee, the ungodly people behind the Devil's Bibles, the shady crooks who sell allegedly “free” software, or the leaders at Bob Jones University today who pervert the Gospel to say that you must “turn from your sins” to be saved. A liar is a liar is a liar!
