Why I'm So Happy In My Precious Lord, God And Savior

1st Peter 1:7-9, “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.” Psalms 119:165, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” Hebrews 12:2a, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith...”

I am so happy in the Lord today! I just had to write this article to share my feelings with everyone. It is Saturday, October 24, 2020 and I am abundantly happy in the Lord. God is so awesome, good and precious! Praise ye the Lord O ye saints! Why am I so happy? I am going to share several reason in this blog post why I am so happy in Jesus. Please lend me your heart dear weary traveler.

Why am I so happy in the Lord today? Well, I started off my day listening to the Gospel of Luke. That's a great way to start off each day, by listening to the inspired King James Bible. As I do each day, I began with a prayer before working on my website ministry, asking God to please give me the divine wisdom to help others. Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

I have had many happy moments lately, simply relishing in the promises of God, earnestly pondering how great my dear Savior truly is! Oh how I know that God My Savior dearly loves me! We cannot love others, until we first allow God to love us! Do you know that God loves you my friend? The Lord truly does! If you are close to God, nothing in this world can bring you low! Psalms 119:165, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” We are living in a society of miserable people everywhere we turn these days!

Do you know why people (including professed Christians) are so miserable? Hebrews 12:2a, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith...” It is that simple to be happy dear reader—LOOK UNTO JESUS! I am happy because of where I am looking. I am looking to Jesus! I got saved by looking to Jesus as a 13 year old teenager. I have lived my life by looking to Jesus, and when I have sinned and failed along life's journey, it is only because I took my eyes off of the dear Lord (Proverbs 14:14). I am 53 years old, and the time is going faster and faster as I grow closer to my blessed homecoming! Proverbs 4:18, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

I Am Happy To Have One Inspired King James Bible

Boy that makes me happy! May I truthfully say—You are as close to God as you are to His inspired Word. That is why I make such a big fuss over the infallibility, perfection and inspiration of the Holy Bible. How can a man walk with God, if he has five different Bible versions? Amos 3:3, Can two walk together, except they be agreed? I truly feel sorry for deceived churchgoers, who think that some Bible versions get a certain passage right, but other revisions get it wrong; so they continually consult multiple Bible revisions in an attempt to find the “best” translation (according to their own human wisdom). What a sad way to live the Christian life!

I have heard umpteen Baptist preachers do this very thing—referring to multiple Bible versions at different times in their preaching, citing their favorite Bible version for any particular passage of Scripture they are exegeting. That is confusing to the listener. I thank God, and am bubbling over with happiness today, that I have only one inspired Holy Bible. Thank God for the precious King James Bible!!! I am so happy to know that I have a perfect, infallible, preserved and inspired King James Bible!!! It burns my heart with joy that I have EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.I have an EVERY WORD Bible, and it rejoices my heart 24/7! Whew, hallelujah, amen, praise God, I am so happy to have God's complete and perfect Word!!!

I Am Happy Trusting God To Find Me A Prudent Wife

My web visitors know that I have been infatuated with a young woman across the street from me. I have poured out my heart to her online in numerous articles I have written, especially late last year before Christmas. I cried much in prayer, wanting for God to put it in her heart to love me back, but it didn't happen. She was giving me little signals over the years, when I saw her coming and going across the street, which kept me on the path CHASING RABBITS! My pastor at the Bethel Baptist Church on Guam preached Wednesday night about chasing rabbits.” I needed to hear that truth, because it occurred to me that I've been foolishly chasing rabbits. I've been CHASING RABBITS concerning both wanting to return to Harvest Baptist Church, and wanting to marry this young uninterested woman who attends Harvest. I have been barking up an empty tree, wasting my time. Harvest is a lost cause! I've been chasing rabbits in wonderland.

I am reminded of a song by singer Garth Brooks from 1995: “Thank God for unanswered prayer!” The Lord impressed upon my heart: “Do you really want to marry a woman who only acknowledges you if her pastors give her permission?” Here's some of the song's meaningful lyrics:

She was the one that I'd wanted for all times
And each night I'd spend prayin' that God would make her mine
And if he'd only grant me this wish I wished back then
I'd never ask for anything again

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
And just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

Kris (the former nurse at Harvest) didn't want me. Abby didn't want me. I feel peace in this matter, because it was their decisions, not mine. I believe God's hand is in this (Philippians 2:13). I was so hurt last year when Abby waved like I was her best friend one day, but then abandoned me the next (at the whim of her ungodly pastors). Kindly said, I make my own decisions based upon what God alone thinks. I am thankful that I don't let other people control whom I accept or reject. That is why I have a ministry website like I do—standing alone among deadbeat Neo-evangelicals (like Harvest Baptist Church on Guam) who don't care about God, truth or people. Everyone should be welcome at a church! That's not the case at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam—they're a social club and only select people are welcomed!

They have horribly mistreated me at Harvest since 2014, refusing to even speak with me about coming back to church. I humbly went to them three times in 2017, but their pastors literally told me to: “Go elsewhere!” That is what a religious cult does! Our dear Lord ate with publicans and sinners. Jesus didn't turn away the demon-possessed man in Mark 5:1-15, He befriended and helped the man. It was the hypocritical religious crowd whom the Lord sharply rebuked. Luke 7:39, “Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.” That is what Pharisees do—they sinfully judge people, condemning and ostracizing them, like Harvest's pastors have wrongly done to me. The Pharisee in his wicked heart thought Jesus should reject the woman, because she was a sinner. It is hard for me to grasp the fact that the Lord received a demon-possessed broken man, but the local Baptist church won't even allow a broken Bible preacher like me to attend church. Go figure! Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers!

As a preacher, I have seen people go from loving a pastor, to hating him overnight. That is not what happened at Harvest Baptist Church. I have repeatedly begged them to come back, showing a spirit of reconciliation and love, but they have turned me away in their coldness and heresy. So I have preached against them, taking a stand against their apostasy! I love them at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, but I hate every false way. Psalms 119:104, “Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. The Devil's bibles must be exposed. The Devil's heresy of Lordship Salvation must be exposed. The Devil's ministers like Steve Pettit and John MacArthur must be exposed. To God be the glory!!!

Sadly, when their employment contracts eventually expire in the future at Harvest Baptist Academy on Guam, the Bob Jones Graduates whom Abby thinks are her “friends” at Harvest Baptist Church will move back to the United States, and she'll never hear from them again. That's what the serpent did to Eve in Genesis. Bob Jones University is a hellhole in my humble opinion, “snakes” Jesus called them. Matthew 12:34, O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Now you know why ungodly people hated Jesus so much! The Lord called the respected religious leaders in His community “snakes, just like I am calling Harvest's pastors snakes! They are sly like a serpent, tricking their victims. They speak of “truth while promoting umpteen Bible versions. They speak of “grace” while demanding works (i.e., requiring that you turn from your sins) to receive God's free gift of eternal life. That is an exchange, not a gift!

The Lord impressed upon my heart as I drove home from church this past Wednesday night, that I now am blessed to have a Fundamentalist Baptist pastor, who cares about me and my family. The pastor gave my grandson a small bag of candy after church Wednesday. Little things like that says: “I care. You can tell when someone cares. It is the little things that they do. I am like a sponge, noticing everything. That is only because I am starving to be loved. God even knows the number of hairs upon our head (Matthew 10:30). I love this faithful preacher and his family. I love Bible preachers, because I is one!

I sincerely believe that God has thwarted my efforts to go back to Harvest, because they are the equivalent of the apostate lukewarm church of Laodicea (Revelation 3:15-22). Kindly said, their pastors at Harvest are indifferent toward truth. Harvest bids Godspeed to Dr. Steve Pettit, who preaches hardcore Lordship Salvation. Dr. Bob Jones Sr. is ashamed up in Heaven at the cesspool of iniquity his college has become at Bob Jones University. I am so happy to contend for the Christian faith!!! There is nothing wrong in America today that couldn't be remedied by a generation of Bible-preaching PREACHERS!!! Instead, we've got a bunch of pretty-boy, wimpy, yuppie type, ministers, who are more concerned about growing a ministry than preaching THE TRUTH!

I have peace in my soul that Kris and Abby didn't want me, because I did all I could to reach out to them in love and respect as a gentleman. I am so happy that God is working this all out, so I don't have to make the decisions. That means the Lord has a different woman for me! The Lord is guiding me as He so promised. Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” By the way, I'm not making any promises, but my daughter has been encouraging me to make some YouTube videos of me preaching. I was thinking today of giving a Bible study on the entire book of Proverbs. It would be 31 videos, about 45 minutes long. I am thinking of ideas for videos. Also, Pastor Bob Gray Sr. is inspiring me to make some videos, because he just started doing the same. Here's his new YouTube channel.

It is too early to tell, but I have another Christian young lady on my mind. I first met her in 2017 at Lighthouse Baptist Baptist church on Guam, and she caught my eye back then. I remember when she asked my name and I replied: “Humkafiddlehopper”...lol. I still remember the serious face she had. I didn't pursue her then, because our paths didn't cross, but now they do. I tremendously admire her. One day at a time. I maybe be chasing rabbits again, but time will tell, I have to be patient and prayerful, one day at a time. I didn't think I was worthy of her, but the Lord works in mysterious ways! My mother often said: “The Lord works in mysterious ways, and Mom is always right!

I Am Happy About The Free Grace Gospel

Pastor Bob Gray Sr. is 100% correct that most independent Baptist churches today are PATHETIC! God's curse is upon any church that perverts God's grace, adhering to a counterfeit gospel of Lordship SalvationHarvest is the biggest independent Baptist church on Guam in name only. In reality, the small church I am attending is the biggest independent Baptist church on Guam, because the pastor is 100% correct on the free grace Gospel, door-to-door soulwinning, and the infallible inspired King James Bible. That is why I love the pastor most of all, because he is preaching correctly! My favorite sermon by Pastor Barnes is titled: Why Is Paul So Upset In The Epistle Of Galatians?” There was no video for that sermon, but I sat on the edge of my seat taking notes. My favorite statement from that sermon is: “Anyone who attacks the grace of God, is attacking the God of grace!”

I fully agree with what one of my favorite preachers, Pastor Bob Gray Sr. said:

“Pathetic comes to mind when considering the condition of so many of our independent Baptist churches across this nation. I don’t know, maybe that seems a little strong. Nope, I am sticking with it. PATHETIC!” —Pastor Bob Gray Sr., “Why Isn't It Working For You?

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. Remember this, if you're depending upon your own good works to get you to Heaven, you're lost! Your salvation had to be purchased with something that was incorruptible, with the precious blood of Jesus Christ!

I Am Happy That I Will Be Given A New Body In Eternity

I am thankful that I can walk and take care of myself. I like walking. Some days I can go walking, but on other days my radiating pain (stenosis and radiculitis) is bad in my arms and legs and I stay home. It all relates to a severe neck injury from 1992 when I was rear-ended by a church bus, and a steep fall at work in 2004 down a mailslide. Albeit, I am thankful that I can still walk, but I have constant pain 24/7 in the bony area of the back of my neck. The prescription pain medications help tremendously. As you can imagine, one of my favorite Bible passages is:

Philippians 3:20-21, “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

I am happy knowing that the Lord will give me a new, perfect and immortal body at the Rapture (1st Corinthians 15:51-58). What a glorious day that will be!

By God's grace I recorded a dozen pedal steel guitar songs earlier this year. The steel guitar is my life's passion, as a hobby. I love music and thank God for it. God put seven notes in a musical scale. There are seven colors in a rainbow. There are seven days in a week. The number seven is God's favorite number. I indent all of my articles beginning with seven spaces. I love the number seven!

I Am Happy Being Outside The Gate With Jesus

Since 2017, I have been begging like a starving dog for Harvest Baptist Church on Guam to please let me come back to church services. They have consistently refused. I have pleaded for their compassion and love, but they have kicked me in the head, leaving me for dead. Psalms 109:4-5, “For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.”

I have been casting my pearl before the swine, begging to be loved back, from Harvest and the young women that I mentioned earlier. Love is getting harder and harder to come by nowadays! I mean, if churches won't love unloved people, then who's going to do it? Matthew 7:6, “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.I have been chasing rabbits at Harvest Baptist Church in more ways than one.

Ironically, the great need of our generation is for churches to repent! 2nd Timothy 2:25-26, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truthAnd that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” I love this Bible verse, which clearly shows what repentance is, and is not. Repentance is NOT turning from one's sins. This is the popular heresy of Lordship Salvation. No where does the Bible teach to “turn away from your sins” to receive God's free gift of eternal life.

2nd Timothy 2:25 teaches that repentance is unto THE TRUTH. Repentance is acknowledging THE TRUTH! Repentance is a man admitting that he is a guilty sinner (Romans 3:19), which facilitates (makes possible) believing to be saved. We are saved by believing, not by repenting, but repentance is necessary to be saved. Repentance is automatic, included in believing. The man who believes the Gospel has also repented. Salvation is very simple.

Most Christians, Bible professors and pastors today are shallow, who refuse to suffer reproach for the name of Jesus. They don't want to be put outside the gate with Jesus! Bless God, if I perish, I perish!!! Count me in with Esther and the persecuted Jews! Count me in with Elijah being a troublemaker in Israel! Count me in with Jesus being rejected and despised by the phony religious crowd!

I Am So Happy To Be God's Redeemed Child

Oh it is wonderful to be a Christian! It is wonderful to be God's child. ...

Psalms 33:1, “Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

Psalms 58:1, “Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation?  do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

Psalms 96:7, “Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.“”

Psalms 105:6, “O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

Psalms 113:1, “Praise ye the LORD.  Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

Psalms 135:1, “Praise ye the LORD.  Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.

I am so happy to be a part of God's family (Ephesians 3:14-15). My name is written in Heaven (Luke 10:20). Jesus is preparing for me a home up in Heaven (John 14:1-3). When Jesus returns, He promises that no man will ever take away my joy again (John 16:22). God is going to give me all things (Romans 8:32). What a beautiful Savior! What an awesome God!!!

Hebrews 12:2a, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith...”
