The False Gospel Of 'Patch The Pirate'

Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”

The Holy Bible warns about ADDING unto God's Words. Anyone who ADDS to what the Bible teaches is a liar. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” I love that last portion of the preceding verse, “That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” That means we all have to give account to God someday for the words we speak. Matthew 12:36, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” As you clearly see, our words are being monitored and recorded by God. Psalms 139:4, “For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.”

Nowhere in the King James Bible are we taught that someone must “TURN FROM YOUR SIN” to be saved, yet these are the lying words that 'Patch The Pirate' have ungodly ADDED to the Scriptures:

“If by faith you'll turn from your sin and trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, He becomes your refuge from the wrath to come.” [emphasis added]

Dear reader, God's curse is upon the Bob Jones University crowd, of which Singer Ron Hamilton (born 1950) is a 1973 graduate. Galatians 1:8, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” It is a horrible sin to ADD what God did not say in His inspired Word. The Seventh-Day Adventists also require that you “turn from sin” to be saved. So also do the Mormons require that you “turn from sin” to be saved. This is NOT the Gospel of free grace. These wicked devils have ADDED to God's Word, perverting the Gospel with ADDED words. May I remind you that Church of Church, Seventh-Day Adventist, Roman Catholic, Jehovah's Witness and most other pseudo-Christian cults, have added the same ungodly words, requiring people to “turn from sin” to be saved. In so doing that have corrupted the Gospel.

It is sad and tragic that all across America Bible colleges and churches, don't think twice about ADDING to the Gospel what God does not require! The word “repent” in the Bible simply means “a change of mind,” not to turn away from your sins. It is a Satanic deception that has infiltrated tens of thousands of churches and mission fields worldwide. I don't recommend 'Patch The Pirate' to anyone, because if they are wrong on repentance, you cannot trust anything that they produce. The strange thing is that Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) himself didn't agree with the Lordship Salvation garbage being taught by the college today. Dr. Bob Jones Sr. said he would blow his college to smithereens, if infidels like Dr. Steve Pettit ever infiltrated the school. Right doctrine matters! Not one verse in the King James Bible teaches to turn from sin to be saved. Only in the Devil's modern Bibles will you find such perversion!
