God Will Not Forget Any Of Our Labors For Him

Hebrews 6:10, For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

What a beautiful Bible verse! I am so thankful to God that He put these little encouraging verses in the Bible. I cannot think of a more precious promise from God to encourage me in my relentless labors for Him. God knows that I work night and day on my website ministry to reach others for Christ, to preach the truth, and feed the saints of God. Pastor Jack Hyles said when you find some work that you are passionate about, you know you have found God's ministry for you! Since 2002 I have been passionate about preaching on the internet for Christ! It is my life and passion to feed God's sheep (John 21:17), to preach the Gospel to the lost and dying world (Mark 16:15), and to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3). I am not worthy (Genesis 32:10), but Jesus is worthy (Revelation 5:12).

God is an ethical God! Jesus said that even the smallest, most seemingly insignificant works done for Him, will not go unrewarded. Mark 9:41, “For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. This wonderful promise only applies to God's redeemed children. The unsaved person has no expectation, except that of spending eternity in the fires of Hell (Revelation 20:15). Please do not be a fool dear reader. Hebrews 12:31, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” If you are not sure that Hell is real, why take the risk? Please make sure that you have been born-again. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do! The Bible teaches ALL or NOTHING! Either God won't give you even one drop of water in Hell (Luke 16:24-31), or else as His child God will give you all things (Romans 8:32).

Here is a lengthy quote from 1st Corinthians, concerning earning rewards in Heaven:

1st Corinthians 3:4-17, “For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

I love that passage of Scripture. People tend to think that preachers behind the pulpit will receive most of the rewards, but that is not what we just read. The Apostle Paul said the Christian who labors to sow the seed of the Gospel, and the other Christian who waters that sown seed, and the other Christian who reaps the harvest (leading that soul to the Lord), all receive the SAME reward from God. It is God that giveth the increase the Bible teaches! My goal has never been to earn rewards in Heaven; but rather, to help other people get saved and live for God, to the best of my ability in the Lord's strength (John 15:5). I just want to help people for Jesus. God knows my heart. I don't want any money. I just want to be a blessing to as many people I can, wherever I can, as much as I can, in any way that I can, for as long as I can, by the grace of God.

As we just read in 1st Corinthians 3:11, Jesus Christ is the only foundation. As believers we build upon faith in Jesus Christ, the Rock of our salvation! 1st Peter 2:5, “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” Many foolish churchgoers nowadays are building upon a foundation of sand, called Lordship Salvation. This is a false gospel, which is also what the hellbound Mormon cult teach.

If you are saved, you should be a soulwinner. Granted, you cannot save anybody. You might share the Gospel for years and not lead anyone to Christ. It all depends on how receptive the people are in that geographical area. If you witness in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is predominantly Mormon, it will be more difficult to win people to Christ, than if you carried the Gospel to poorer places throughout Africa. I have heard missionaries to staunch Roman Catholic areas, testify that they had few converts. Our duty is not to seek results, but to be obedient to go soulwinning (which is a Biblical term). Proverb 11:30, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”

Pastor Jack Hyles is right, who said that we're supposed to go soulwinning as believers, whether our churches grow in attendance or shrink. Soulwinning is not an option, it is a command from God. The church that does not go soulwinning is a blind, poor, naked and wretched church (Revelation 3:15-16). 'The Great Commission' in Matthew 28:19-20 has sadly become 'The Great Omission' in most so-called “churches” today. Soulwinning is the primary work of the local New Testament church! All across America we've got lifeless churches who gather around the Word, but never lift a finger for God to win the local community to Jesus Christ with the Gospel. They are Sitting On The Premises instead of Standing On The Promises. The Christian's greatest duty is preaching the Gospel.

Everything that we do to help the local soulwinning pastor and church will be rewarded by God. If you volunteer to mow the church lawn, God will reward you, if you do it to help further the preaching of the Gospel. All of these shameful Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) artists today, who impress millions of music fans with their talent, but never preach the Gospel, will one day be reckoned with God. 1st Corinthians 9:16, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! I think most CCM performers are not really saved. Many of them are hellbound Roman Catholics. Others merely say they “follow Jesus,” but have never been born-again (John 3:3-7).

CCM diva Amy Grant is a member of the hellbound Church of Christ (COC), who believe in the heresy of Baptismal Regeneration (i.e., they say you must be water baptized to go to Heaven). COC also require that you turn away from your sins, and make public confession of Jesus to be saved. None of these three things are required by God to be saved. Jesus simply said in John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.God only requires one step between you and eternal life dear friend, which is simply to BELIEVE on the only begotten Son of God (John 20:31).
