Romans 8:33-37, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
The Bible says we are not just a “conqueror,” but “MORE THAN CONQUERORS.” It is impossible to lose that which Christ has forever conquered! Jesus' work of redemption was so profound, so magnificent, and so permanent, that it cannot be undone! That is why we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS, because Christ's work of redemption is forever settled! What Jesus did FOR US is how we conquer! We conquer THROUGH JESUS!!! We are more than conquerors THROUGH JESUS CHRIST!!! Jesus didn't almost die for us, HE DID DIE FOR US!!! Jesus could have dropped that cross and called twelve legions of angels to rescue Him (Matthew 26:53). But Jesus “for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2b). Jesus gladly paid the price for our sins with His precious blood. THANK YOU JESUS!!!
We are secure in God's salvation, because we are secure in Christ's work, not our work! 1st John 5:4, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” Faith in Jesus Christ is the way to have eternal life! John 10:9, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” We are safe and secure in the Father's hands.
What saith the Scripture? John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Jesus overcame the world by His sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross to pay for our sins, and His victorious bodily resurrection from the dead. Hallelujah! God is more than amazing!!! When Christ died for our sins, He did it perfect the first time, He doesn't need to do it again. When Jesus resurrected, He did it perfectly. Everything that God does is right! When Jesus saved us, He got it right the first time, so that we can NEVER lose God's salvation!!!
If you don't believe right, you cannot live right! You've got to think right. Psalms 92:4-5, “For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.” If you want to study the DEEP THINGS of God, then simply study the Word of God. When you study the Bible, you are studying the wisdom of God that no man can duplicate or imitate.
Psalms 92:12-14, “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.” I love very 14, which says we shall still bear fruit (souls saved) in our old age! Amen and amen! I am reminded of Anna, an 84 year old woman in Luke who witnessed the Gospel to truth-seekers coming to Jerusalem, who inquired about Jesus. I love this faithful lady...
Luke 2:36-38, “And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.”Notice that Anna served God night and day through fastings and prayers. Oh how she puts 99% of believers to shame. How's your War Room doing? If you haven't seen the 2015 religious film: 'WAR ROOM,' it is definitely worth watching, to encourage you to pray. If the preceding YouTube link goes dead, just search for 'WAR ROOM' on YouTube for another link (you might get lucky). I wrote an article about this movie. Luke 18:1, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” I prayed for you today, did you pray for me? Well, what are you waiting for, I NEED YOUR PRAYERS! All we have is each other as Christians. We ought to pray incessantly about everything (Philippians 4:6), throughout the day, always seeking the Lord.
We are more than conquerors THROUGH JESUS CHRIST who loves us!!! What a blessed Savior!!! Jesus is mine!!! He can be yours too if you don't have Him, just simply receive Him. John 1:12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
