The Satanic Hebrew Roots Movement

Acts 4:10-12, “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Christians should NOT say Yeshua instead of Jesus! There are some false prophets today who claim that since Jews will never accept the name of “Jesus,” we should use the Hebrew name of “Yeshua.” They claim Yeshua is Jesus' real name. This is a false religion. Jesus' real name is JESUS!!! The Hebrews Roots Movement reject the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ! If a Jewish person is too proud to humble them self, to believe upon the precious name above all other names, JESUS, then they will go to Hell when they die. Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” It will be no one's fault but their own! The Bible doesn't say at the name of Yeshua, every knee shall bow, it says at the precious name of “Jesus”! ...

Philippians 2:9-11, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Amen and amen! The Hebrew Roots Movement (HRM) is of the Devil, teaching the need to revive Old Testament Judaism. The Hebrew Roots Movement teach that Jews and Gentiles alike should keep the law to be saved. The Bible plainly warns against trying to get to Heaven by keeping the deeds of the law. It is impossible, because no human being except Jesus Christ has ever perfectly kept the law (Hebrews 4:15). What saith the Scripture? Please read this Scripture passage carefully:

Romans 3:19-26, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”

The purpose of the law is to show humanity our guilty condition as sinners, so that we will see our need for redemption in Jesus Christ. The Bible plainly teaches in Acts 4:10-12, that salvation is obtained only through the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Messianic Judaism is a modern demonic religious movement that combines Christianity, most importantly, the belief that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, with elements of Judaism and Jewish tradition. By combining the law with grace, they pervert God's grace, preaching another gospel! The Apostle Paul sternly warns in Galatians 1:6-9 that God's curse is upon anyone who preaches another gospel, as does the Hebrew Roots Movement.

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, the angel told Joseph to name the child “Jesus.” The angel didn't say to name Him “Yeshua.” Matthew 1:20-21, “But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” By the way, please notice that last sentence, “he shall save his people from their sins.” Jesus doesn't demand that we turn from our sins as a requirement to be saved, which is impossible! If we could turn from our sins, then Christ didn't need to come. The Bible says that Jesus came to save us from our sins. Redemption is a matter of coming to God as a needy sinner, and resting entirely in Jesus Christ for salvation (Hebrews 4:10-11).

It's bad enough that the Devil has removed Jesus, the name above every other name, from Christmas. Now it's “x-mas” in most businesses during the holidays. That is very ungodly, please don't ever say “x-mas.” And then instead of saying “Merry Christmas,” it is now politically correct to say, “Happy Holidays” instead. That is so ungrateful to the Lord! Then they remove Jesus and replace Him with Santa Claus (who has Christ's power to see all, be everywhere and deliver presents to every home in just one night). Now the Devil is trying to remove the precious name of Jesus from our churches with Yeshua! You tell those Hebrew Roots Movement heretics to go back to Hell where they came from, and take Yeshua with them!!! If God wanted us to call His only begotten Son something else, then He would have said so, but God called Him, “Jesus”!

Beware of the Hebrews Roots Movement! Jesus is the only name by which a person can be saved! If a Jew is too arrogant and proud to humble himself to trust in the name of Jesus, then he is going to Hell forever. This is not about anti-Semitism, God forbid. I love Jewish people, which is why I wrote this blog article. Jesus witnessed to a Jewish Rabbi named Nicodemus, and said these critically important words in John 3:3-7, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” The Satanic Hebrew Roots Movement does not teach that a person must be born-again, so they are pulling on the same rope as the Devil.

Kindly said, the Hebrew Roots Movement is nothing more than a Satanic substitute for Bible Christianity! It is an attempt to coddle and appease unbelieving Jews, perverting Christianity in a sinful attempt to reach stiffnecked Jews who reject the New Testament. The Bible plainly says that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, not a mixture of Christianity and Judaism! Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The Gospel is the only power of God to save, to them that BELIEVE it!

Some proponents of the Hebrew Roots Movement will try to downplay their heresy, claiming that they aren't trying to promote keeping the law to be saved. However, upon closer examination, it becomes clear that the intent of the Hebrew Roots Movement is to merge New Testament Christianity with the Old Testament system of law, which corrupts God's grace. Jews today refuse to accept the Gospel, which Jesus personally delivered to the Apostle Paul. Galatians 1:11-12, “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” Lordship Salvation is a gospel fabricated by men. The idea of reaching Christ-rejecting Jews, by combining the Gospel of Paul with Old Testament religion is a gospel fabricated by men!

The Gospel means “Good News.” It is the Good News that even though we failed to perfectly keep the law, Jesus DID perfectly keep the law. Jesus is the sinless Lamb of God, slain for the sins of the world (John 1:29). The Lord paid our debt of sin when He was crucified to the cross. He was taken down and buried, and three days later Christ bodily resurrected from the dead. All you need to do to be saved is to believe what I just shared with you about Jesus. Anyone who believes the Good News about Jesus Christ, making it your only hope for forgiveness of sins and eternal life, is saved. Please do not buy into this junk theology called the Hebrew Roots Movement!
