The subtle enemies that affect the soul-winning efforts of the local church have too long gone unnoticed as well as unchallenged. Dr. Jack Hyles, Pastor of the church with the "World's Largest Sunday School" and the worlds foremost soul-winning ministries, contests these enemies, one by one.
These enemies must be exposed for what they are: a definite attempt, by Satan, to stop fundamental, soul-winning churches from doing the work God has ordained them to do.
These insights given by Dr. Hyles may seem controversial, but in reality they are logical as well as Biblical.
Enemies of Soul Winning will reveal adversaries you may have thought were your friends!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jack Hyles began preaching at the age of 19 and has pastored for 45 years. These pastorates include churches that varied in membership from 44 to over 100,000. All of these pastorates, other than the present one, where in the state of Texas: First, the Marris Chapel Baptist Church of Bogata, Texas; then the Grange Hall Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas; from there to the Southside Baptist Church of Henderson, Texas; and then to the Miller Road Baptist Church of Garland, Texas. He pastored the Miller Road Baptist Church for approximately 7 years and saw this church, under the Lord, grow from a membership of 44 to over 4,000. It was from the Miller Road Baptist Church that he was called to his present pastorate at the First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana.
Dr. Hyles has been Pastor of the First Baptist Church since August, 1959. This church has a membership of over 100,000 and has averaged over 23,000 conversions and 8,000 baptisms per year for the past 6 years. For many years the church has been acclaimed to have the "World's Largest Sunday School." During Dr. Hyles' ministry the First Baptist Church has increased in property evaluation to over $50,000,000.
Besides his position as Pastor, Dr. Hyles is Founder-Chancellor of Hyles-Anderson Schools, which enrolled approximately 4,000 students last year. The schools are operated by the First Baptist Church and are housed in separate facilities away from the church property. Dr. Hyles has served as President of the Baptist Bible College in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Hyles is the author of 41 books and pamphlets, exceeding over 12 million copies in sales. Many of his sermons are also available on tape.
Dr. Hyles' experience covers numerous evangelistic campaigns, Bible conferences, etc. He has preached in virtually every state of the Union and in many foreign countries. His annual Pastors' School attracts thousands of preachers from every state and many foreign countries.
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
You have just read 'THE GOSPEL' which the inspired Holy Bible plainly defines for us, so there is no need for guesswork. Yet, today we hear and see all kinds of unbiblical embellishments to the Gospel, which confuse and obscure the truth, so that lost sinners cannot be born-again. A false gospel cannot produce the new birth!
For example: The following photo was taken by a friend of a friend of mine, who sent this to me today. In this photo, which was taken at Ken Ham's “ARK ENCOUNTER” in Williamstown, Kentucky, you will see that Ken Ham distorts God's simple plan of salvation, requiring more than faith to be saved.
What you have just read in this photo from Ken Ham's Ark Encounter is damnable heresy! Ken Ham is preaching another gospel accursed by God. ...
Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. Nowhere does the Bible say to “turn from your sins and give your life to Him [Jesus]” to get to Heaven! This is the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation, which has absolutely flooded into the churches today. That sadly includes so-called “Independent Fundamental Baptist” churches as well. Please read, “A Perversion Of The Gospel: Lordship Salvation” (by Dr. Curtis Hutson; the last chapter from his great book titled: “Salvation Crystal Clear”). God's curse is upon anyone who tampers with the Gospel. God's simple plan of salvation is by grace alone without works. Romans 4:4-5, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.
“Christianity is not the sacrifice we make, but the sacrifice we trust. LIVING YOUR life for Jesus won't save you, but BELIEVING Jesus gave HIS LIFE for you will.” —Pastor Thomas Cucuzza, “Important Truths Satan Does Not Want You To Know”
Amen and amen! We don't hear much accurate preaching like that nowadays. Instead, most of what we hear is from infidel fools like Marty Herron, Gary Walton, Steve Pettit, John MacArthur, John Piper, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer and Ken Ham (who all errantly teach that faith is not enough to get to Heaven). Ray comfort and Ken Ham's Answers-In-Genesis both even use the word “second” in explaining their accursed plan of salvation. That is, they teach that there is a “second” thing you must do to be saved, other than trust Christ. That second thing according to both of these ungodly false teachers is to “turn from your sinful way.” I didn't see that in our text passage from 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, did you?
Ken Ham is a hellbound imposter, a self-righteous false teacher who has taken it upon himself to corrupt God's simple plan of salvation. Here is another photo that my ministry friend sent to me today, showing Ken Ham's counterfeit plan of salvation.
Damnable Heresy On Display At Ken Ham's 'ARK ENCOUNTER'
Again, where does the inspired King James Bible teach that you must “repent of your sins” to be saved? It doesn't, not anywhere! In Acts 20:21 we read about “repentance toward God.” In 2nd Timothy 2:25 we read about “repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.”In Hebrews 6:1 we read about “repentance from dead works.” But nowhere in the inspired Holy Bible will you find the phrase “repent of your sins.” Ungodly men added those words to corrupt God's simple plan of salvation.
Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!
Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.
Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.
If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?
The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.
A Young Earth Creation Contradicts Legitimate Science
I like how Michael Pearl explains the debate. ...
Two Views On The Age Of The Earth
A Young Earth Creation (YEC) contradicts the scientific evidence that the earth and universe are billions of years old in appearance. Even the unsaved world recognizes that a YEC theory is pseudoscience. It is false science! Dear reader, dinosaurs didn't roam the earth 5,000 years ago, as YEC advocates bizarrely claim.
Ark Encounter is operated by Answers in Genesis (AiG), a YEC organization that also operates the Creation Museum 45 miles (70 km) away in Petersburg, Kentucky. Australian Ken Ham, creationist and CEO of AiG, founded the park. The theme park promotes pseudoscientific young Earth creationist beliefs about the age of the universe, age of the Earth, and co-existence of humans and non-avian dinosaurs. —SOURCE: Wikipedia: Arc Encounter
To embrace the lame theories of the YEC camp, you must turn a blind eye to science. I read these great preacher quotes today. ...
"Let's quit fiddling with religion and do something to bring the world to Christ." —Billy Sunday
"When you get saved, you get saved not because you deserve it, but because you simply let God save you and because you confess your own poor sinful state and your inability to save yourself." —John R. Rice
"I believe that if there is one thing which pierces the Master's heart with unutterable grief, it is not the world's iniquity, but the Church's indifferences." —F.B. Meyer
Evangelist Ken Ham is not only wrong on the age of the earth, and wrong on when the dinosaurs lived, but he is also wrong on God's simple plan of salvation. I cannot warn you enough to steer clear of this theological madman in the pulpit today. If you like being lied to and deceived by the Devil, then go ahead and continue listening to Ken Ham's ramblings, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).
Shame On Pastors Who Support Ken Ham's Damnable Heresy
Here is Ken Ham's Answer-In-Genesis, which he owns and controls, raking in roughly $35,000,000 per year conning people with his YEC scam. In the following video you will see and hear for yourself what his ministry is preaching. ...
The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM
Birds of a feather flock together! Pensacola Christian College (PCC) wickedly bids Godspeed to infidel Ken Ham. PCC invited Ken Ham to speak at their Campus in 2022, honoring that wicked false prophet. In so doing, the Bible warns that PCC are partakers of Ken Ham's evil deeds. 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” PCC has much blood on their hands. So also does Pastor Clarence Sexton and his Crown College in Powell, Tennessee for promoting and honoring Ken Ham, supporting his false plan of salvation. Is it no thing to you either that the Gospel is being changed?
Dear reader, there are not two different versions of God's plan of salvation. Either you must turn away from your sinful behavior to get to Heaven, or else you do not, but it cannot be both! The inspired Holy Bible simply teaches that we are all guilty hell-deserving sinners (Romans 3:19-20; Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:8), and that Jesus paid our debt through Calvary's cross (1st Corinthians 1:18), by the precious blood that He shed and sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat to pay for our sins (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24; 1st Peter 1:19-19). Jesus was buried and then raised up miraculously from the dead three days later. Any guilty sinner who by faith receives Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as payment for his or her sins, believing that Christ is risen, is saved. It is that simple to go to Heaven. 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”
Woe unto Ken Ham! Woe unto Temple Baptist Church and their senior pastor, Clarence Sexton, in Tennessee for wickedly bidding Godspeed to Ken Ham. Woe unto Pastor Jeff Redlin and his cronies at PCC's Campus Church, for wickedly honoring such a devil as Ken Ham, who corrupts the grace of God into works. If you missed it earlier, or have already forgotten what Ken Ham promotes at his Satanic ARK ENCOUNTER, here it is again: Ken Ham requires lost sinners to“turn from your sins and give your life to Him [Jesus]” to get to Heaven! Sadly, what Ken Ham is teaching does not match what Jesus said in the Bible.
Did not Judas give his life to follow and serve Jesus? Yes, he did. Judas was one of Christ's very apostles. Yet, tragically, Judas perished in his sin of unbelief and is burning in Hell still today without hope, rest or mercy. Judas made his choice! Jesus said that it would have been better for Judas if he had never been born. Oh, what am unnecessary tragedy!
I want to repeat a great quote that I shared with you earlier by Pastor Frederick B. Meyer (1847-1929):
"I believe that if there is one thing which pierces the Master's heart with unutterable grief, it is not the world's iniquity, but the Church's indifferences." —F.B. Meyer
And here also is a needful quote by Pastor Thomas M. Cucuzza:
“The Devil is doing his greatest work behind pulpits. [I] hate to say it, but that's the truth; because people have the presupposition that when you come to church, and somebody gets up to speak, that person is speaking truth. That's the way we've been raised.” —Pastor Thomas M. Cucuzza, “Important Truths Satan Does Not Want You To Know”
God pity the incompetent pastors today who are indifferent toward doctrinal error. By God's grace, I will continue to faithfully expose the lies of the Devil, and the ungodly preachers who are pulling on the same rope as the Devil. Thank you for reading my blog. Jesus is precious!!!
Now here are some observations about Lordship Salvation . . .
1. In the final analysis, it is salvation by works, which is in direct contrast to the teaching of the Scriptures. Titus 3:5, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." Romans 3:28, "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Romans 4:2, "For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God." Ephesians 2:8, 9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Romans 4-5, "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
2. If one must accept Christ as Lord of his life in order to be saved, it would of necessity remove growth in grace. If one has yielded his life to Christ as Lord at salvation, there would be no babes in Christ, but the simple truth is that there are babes in Christ. I Corinthians 3: 1, "And 1, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ." I Peter 2:2, "As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby."
3. Lordship salvation necessitates the doctrine of losing one's salvation. If one must make Jesus his Lord in order to be saved, then when he backslides to the position to where Jesus is no longer his Lord, consistency would drive us to believe that he is no longer saved. This would make us doubt the salvation of Peter when he denied the Lord, the salvation of Barnabas when he had contention with Paul, the salvation of Jonah when he left the will of God, etc.
4. Lordship salvation makes no provision for the carnal Christian. None of us takes pleasure in the carnality of a Christian, but the fact remains that there is such a person taught in the Bible. In I Corinthians 3:1 we have the carnal Christian and the spiritual Christian. "And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as babes in Christ." The world is divided between saved and lost. The saved are divided between carnal and spiritual. I do not delight that there carnal Christians, but I must accept the fact that they exist.
5. Lordship salvation removes grace and would nullify the plainest verses in the Bible concerning salvation. John 3:15, "That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 5:24, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 1: 11, 12, "He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." Ephesians 2:8, 9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." All of these verses plainly tell us salvation is by believing; that is, by faith in the finished work of Calvary. 6. Salvation is receiving, not giving. John 1: 12, "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." In salvation it is God Who does the giving, not man. Man does the receiving. God gives His Son. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God gives eternal life. John 10:28, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand." God gives us all things. Romans 8:32, "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" To be a believer, one accepts what God has given. To be a disciple, one gives. Salvation comes from the sacrifice of Christ. Discipleship comes from the sacrifice of self. Salvation depends on God's faithfulness. Discipleship depends on my faithfulness. Hence, salvation cannot be lost. Discipleship can be lost.
Occasionally someone will say, "You can be saved if you will give your heart to Jesus." Now I think that people who use this statement are sincere, and many have been saved in response to their appeal, but technically one is saved, not because he gives his heart to Jesus; one is saved because he receives Jesus and His gift of eternal life.
7. Lordship salvation would make salvation a trade or a deal or maybe even a bribe. It would take away the simple reception of Christ for eternal life and would become God giving us something if we give Him something. God would say to us, "You give Me something; I'll give you something. We will trade, and you will be saved." Salvation is not my giving God something and God giving me something; salvation is God giving me something and my receiving it. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
In order to understand the Lordship of Christ, let us notice the following:
1. The unsaved man is IN the flesh and sin is IN him.
2. He receives Christ. Christ comes IN him. Colossians 1:27, "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
3. When Christ enters, the old man does not leave. Though Christ is in him, so is the old nature. Romans 7:15-17, "For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me." There is the new man and there is the old man in the believer. Romans 7:22, 23, "For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members."
4. The new man needs new environment. Hence, he is IN Christ. 2nd Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Ephesians 2:6, "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." The term "in Christ" or its equivalent is mentioned over 130 times in the New Testament.
5. Now that I am IN Christ, many things are made available to me. Ephesians 1:3, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." I Corinthians 3:21, "Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours." Romans 8:32, "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?"
6. Though these things are available to me, they are not forced upon me, though I live where they are. Notice that I am already in Christ, and now that I am in Him, these things are available to me, but I must choose to have them.
One of these things is fellowship with God. Ephesians 2:13, "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ."
Another is a spiritual walk. 1 John 2:6, "He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked."
Another is His approval. Romans 16:10, "Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus' household."
Another is spiritual growth. Colossians 2:7, "Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."
Another is spiritual maturity. Colossians 1:28, "Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus."
Another is sanctification.1 Corinthians 1:2, "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours."
All of these things are available to the believer. All are at his disposal, whereas none were before he came in Christ. When he became a new creature and entered into Christ, these and many other things were made available to him. Now to whatever extent man avails himself of these things that are at his disposal, Christ is his Lord. Naturally, the baby Christian does not avail himself of all the things that are his any more than the babe in the house avails himself to the washing machine or the family car. However, as we avail ourselves more and more of the things that Christ has made for us, we grow in grace and Jesus becomes more the Lord of our lives.
Perhaps the greatest Christian who ever lived was the Apostle Paul. In speaking of himself he said, "O wretched man that I am." He called himself "the chief of sinners." He said the things that he would do, he did not, and the things he would not do, he did. Probably Jesus was Lord of more of Paul's life than any other person who ever lived, but Paul himself said he had not yet apprehended.
In conclusion, notice the vanity and pride involved in one testifying to his salvation who believes in Lordship salvation. He is saying, "I have made Jesus my Lord." That means that Jesus controls his life and he is totally yielded. My, what a statement for a person to make about himself! On the other hand, notice the humility in the person's testimony who says, "I am saved because I received Christ as my Saviour." He is talking about a salvation that he did not merit. He did nothing to receive it except receive it. It was a gift. Whereas, if we had to give something to God to get something in return, he and God made a trade and his salvation is earned.
“A man can slip into Hell with his hand on the door-knob of Heaven.” —Evangelist Billy Sunday
Pilgrim's Progress - Thrown Into Hell From Heaven's Gate
There is a fine line between faith and foolishness. All of these incompetent pastors today who embellish the Gospel with unbiblical additions are polluting God's simple plan of salvation. In so doing they are mudding the water and complicating how to be saved. Consequently, far fewer people are getting born-again. Some of these heretical additions are as follows:
1. walk an aisle 2. pray a prayer 3. join a church, denomination or convention 4. turn from your sins 5. repent of your sins 6. be willing to turn away from sin 7. feel sorrow for your sins 8. forsake a lifestyle of sinning 9. be baptized in water 10. speak in “tongues” 11. turn over a new leaf 12. ask Christ into your heart 13. invite Jesus into your life 14. surrender your entire personality to Christ 15. surrender all 16. begin to follow the King 17. live a holy life 18. live a changed life 19. give control of your life over to Christ 20. faithfully run the race 21. count the cost and pay the price 22. live a lifestyle of repentance from sins 23. turn away from the old life 24. follow Jesus no matter what the cost 25. make Jesus the “Lord” (Master) of your life 26. be sorrow for your sin 27. confess Christ publicly 28. keep the Sabbath Day 29. keep God's Ten Commandments 30. get rid of sinful bad habits and vices 31. ask Jesus into your heart 32. have a religious experience 33. feel hatred for sin 34. begin the process of submitting to the one true King 35. believe in Jesus as the religious leader of your life 36. have a relationship with Jesus 37. become a Christ follower 37. perpetually turn from your sins 38. endure until the end 39. follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins 40. make full submission
NONE of these things are required to get to Heaven. Yet, I can hardly listen to a sermon today—or visit a church website, or watch a YouTube video, or hear a Bible college chapel service, or read a religious tract, or listen to religious radio, or attend a church service—without hearing these unbiblical additions to God's simple plan of salvation, which are damnable heresy! The new birth comes only to the guilty sinner who puts one's childlike faith (trust) in the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and bodily risen the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-6). That's it, that's all, no more! ...
“But we've so muddied the Gospel, that when men want to make a decision to trust Christ, we've made it so complicated that they can't make a simple decision to 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.' We'll say, 'If you don't do this' or 'You don't do that' or 'You haven't done that,' you're not saved'; but the truth of the matter is that when asked in the Bible, 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?,' one clear simple answer was given to him — 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.'” —Pastor Curtis Hutson
The Bible teaches that the Gospel is “the power of God” unto salvation, nothing else. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” God does not need our oratory skills, eloquence of speech or human wisdom to bring lost sinners to Jesus Christ, we simply need to share the Gospel. 1st Corinthians 2:1-2, ”And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”
The Apostle Paul said that he did not try to beat around the bush or sway the Corinthians with his cunning words or excellency of speech. Paul only wanted to know one thing—did they believe the Gospel? That is, what was their attitude toward Jesus' death on the cross, His burial and bodily resurrection? That is the only way to get to Heaven—through faith alone in the Gospel alone.
I am astonished by all the embellishments of the Gospel today from nearly every pulpit across America, adding things which are nowhere taught in the Scripture. Earlier I listed 40 unbiblical embellishments of God's simple plan of salvation. I can name all the corrupt preachers and institutions who add those embellishments to the Gospel. For example: The 39th embellishment to “follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins” is the heresy that Pensacola Christian College (PCC) teaches today, which is not a free grace Gospel. Sadly, PCC has become a neo-evangelical cult, preaching damnable heresy!
May we all be careful to guard against muddying the Gospel.
Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
2nd John 1:10-11, “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
Shame on Pensacola Christian College (PCC) and their wicked Campus Church for sinfully bidding Godspeed to false teacher and infidel Ken Ham, who says that faith is not enough to get to Heaven. According to the counterfeit plan of salvation of Ken Ham's ANSWERS-IN-GENESIS, you must also turn from your sins, turn from your wicked way, and begin to follow Christ, none of which are biblical.
PCC wickedly invited and honored Ken Ham in 2022. 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝟭𝟲:𝟮𝟵-𝟯𝟭, “𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘀, 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱? 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲.” Paul and Silas didn't tell the man to turn from his sin, turn from his wicked way, nor to begin to follow Christ (which is discipleship, not sonship; it is service, not salvation).
John Bunyan said it best:
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)
Dear reader, we have multiple plans of salvation circulating in our churches today. Sadly, that definitely includes so-called independent fundamental Baptist churches. To make matters worse, 95% of pastors and preachers today couldn't care less about what I just said. Due to the ungodly love of money and settling in to one's backslidden “comfort zone,” today's clergy have become complacent and indifferent. They are dropping the ball for God.
The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM
Even worse, when faithful laymen and preachers like me faithfully contend for the faith, exposing doctrinal error in the churches and social media, wicked pastors become angry, resentful, defensive and ban me from attending their churches. Here are some of the rotten names of those corrupt pastors: Marty Herron, Jared Baldwin, Joe Hensen, Gary Walton, Sean Quinlan, Jeff Redlin and Timothy Zacharias. I am not the only one who has suffered this terrible cruel fate at the hands of ungodly pastors. I know of numerous individual believers who have been banned from returning to church, simply because they TOLD THE TRUTH and it offended the pastor. Then when those hurting human beings begged to come back to church, those cruel, arrogant, proudful, bad pastors refused, making matters worse. It is shameful.
Yes, our churches are dying, and many are already spiritually dead!
Sadly, I have to remain silent in the Baptist church that I attend now, lest my pastor show me the door. He's done it to other believers. Since I need a church family, I just stay quiet. But the church languishes in mediocrity and struggles to grow, because there is no organized soulwinning. The pastor doesn't believe in it. He says it's the church member's job to go soulwinning, not the church's. Folks, that is just ridiculous! Pastor Lee Roberson (1909-2007) was absolutely right: “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” If the pastor doesn't lead the way, by meeting with the church to go soulwinning as a group, then no one will do it. Dr. Hyles used to wisely say: “The most important job is the one that doesn't get done.” I love that quote.
In Ocala, Florida, Pastor Sam Adams at the Independent Baptist Church preaches hardcore Lordship Salvation. It sickened me when I listen to one of his sermons, and I heard numerous church members shouting “Amen!” in agreement with his damnable heresy that you must turn away from your sinning to be saved. Those church members are hellbound in their self-righteousness, all because of their ungodly pastor. But if their pastor preached a free grace Gospel, they would shout “Amen!” in agreement just the same. Why? It is simply because of what Dr. Lee Roberson rightly said: “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” Wherever the pastor leads the people, they WILL follow him. Heavy, heavy, hangs the fiery judgment of God upon any pastor who misleads his church congregation regarding how to be saved. If you are wrong on the Gospel friend, you will go to Hell to burn forever in fire and brimstone. It is that simple. As good as it may sound that you must forsake your lifestyle of sin to get to Heaven, that is another gospel, not the Gospel taught in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, which is Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection three days later. That is the 'GOOD NEWS' by which all who BELIEVE IT are saved immediately, irrevocably and permanently (Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 1:21).
Then there is Bob Jones University (BJU), a Lordship Salvation Calvinist cult. BJU invited and honored hellbound Calvinist, Paul Washer, in December of 2022 at BJU chapel. Kindly said, if you think Calvinists are going to Heaven, you are also going to Hell with them. PCC is a disgrace to the cause of Jesus Christ. They have dipped their sails in sinful compromise, refusing to break sinful ties with the Alexandrian cult at Bob Jones University (Note: I don't agree with several teachings by Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, 1921-2016, but this series that he wrote exposing BJU is awesome). Please beware of PCC, BJU and any other false teachers who promote infidel Ken Ham, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, et cetera. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!! It matters what you believe.
Remember, the lost sinners in Matthew 7:21-23 boasted of their “many wonderful works” all done in Jesus' name. They preached in Jesus' name wherever they went. They called Jesus, “Lord, Lord.” Yet, Jesus denied knowing them as His sheep, and they went to Hell forever. The reason why is that they failed to trust Christ alone. Instead, they lived the Christian life. They served Christ. They did many wonderful works, but they never ceased from their own WORKS, just like everybody today in churches who are trying to turn from their sins to be saved; they never rested completely in the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:10-11).
Psalms 9:17, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”
Many years ago, General William Booth (founder of The Salvation Army) warned, “The day will come when they will preach Heaven without preaching Hell.” Ladies and gentlemen, we're now living in that generation. I dare say that the average Baptist pastor preaches on Hell once every two years. Sadly, it is rare to find a full-length sermon on Hell anymore. Dear reader, everyone needs to hear Bible preaching about Hell.
We need to hear about Hell, so that the lost can be warned and get saved by faith in Jesus Christ before it is too late. We need to hear about Hell, so that we will be convicted and reminded by the Holy Spirit to stay busy soulwinning. We need to hear about Hell, because billions of lost souls are crying out from the depths of Hell beneath, for a Christian to go share the Gospel with their loved ones (Luke 16:19-31). Everyone needs to hear preaching on Hell. The lost need it. God's people need it. Impressionable children need it.
Two of the most common subjects for our Lord Jesus to preach on were Hell and giving. Yet those are two of the most neglected topics in our pulpits today. For those of you who have followed my ministry writings over the years, you know that I am against tithing 10%, simply because it is unbiblical. If you are unemployed or struggling to make ends meet, then you cannot and shouldn't even try to give 10%. You give only what you can feasibly give, so that your family doesn't suffer. God doesn't need your money friend, but men want it. The amount you give will vary considerably, depending on your income, financial obligations and life's circumstances.
It is a crying tragedy in most independent Baptist churches today, that they believe in a burning Hell where Christ-rejecters will spend eternity suffering in torment, yet they don't preach on the subject of Hell. There are over 300 references in the New Testament to the fires of Hell. The Lord Jesus gave 22 discourses in the New Testament on the topic of Hell. The Bible has more to say about Hell than it does Heaven.
I've heard people foolishly say, “I don't believe a loving God would ever send someone to Hell. The Bible says that God is love.” Yes, 120 times times the Bible says God is love. But God's love is a holy love. God's grace is a holy grace. God's mercy is a holy mercy. God's wrath is a holy wrath. What God's holiness cannot and will not endure, His love cannot embrace either. Sin must be paid for. If you don't accept the payment for sin that Jesus made, you'll have to pay for it yourself in Hell forever. That is a horrifying thought! Have you ever heard Pastor Joel Osteen warn anybody that Hell is real, and that if you don't get born again you'll go there? I haven't, and neither has anybody else, because Joel Osteen is a false prophet.
I once talked to a lost man about being saved, to which he replied: “Preacher, I don't believe in Hell. How could I go to a place I don't believe in?” Dear reader, that's like going down to your local train station and standing on the tracks, because you don't believe that a train is coming. Just because a person may not believe that Hell exists, doesn't mean that it doesn't. Isaiah 5:14, “Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.” Perhaps you are familiar with the true story of The Rich Man and Lazarus...
Luke 16:19-31, “There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”
We know that this is a true account, and not a parable, for a few reasons:
Jesus didn't say it is a parable. He always announced when telling a parable.
Jesus didn't explain afterwards what the story meant, which He did with parables.
Jesus used proper nouns (Abraham and Lazarus), which He never did in parables.
Jesus would be a deceiver if Hell doesn't have fire, because in this story He says it does.
Isn't it strange that people have God's mercy available to them for a lifetime and spit on it, and as soon as they die, they want it. As soon as they get to Hell and begin to suffer, they want what they rejected when it was available to them for free. Jesus Christ—the most reliable human being who ever walked the face of this earth 2,000 years ago, said that there is a placed called Hell.
Could you imagine someone saying, “Why, I cannot believe that loving people believe in prisons!” Isn't that exactly what people say about God? Dear reader, if wrong doing is punished in this sinful world, do you actually believe that a holy God doesn't punish sin? Revelation 21:27, “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.” Why? Because if God allowed even one sin into Heaven, it would not be Heaven anymore. Adam and Eve just ate a piece of fruit, but it caused the downfall of the human race. Their greater sin was disobeying God. There is not a person who is not guilty of violating the law of God worse than Adam and Eve did. We have all sinned.
Countless billions of people throughout history have been wronged by others. Could you imagine going to a park one day with your children, so they can play. But then you notice that one of your children is missing. You frantically search for your child, but cannot find him. So, you call the police and an Amber Alert is sent out. Weeks pass and you child is still missing. Months and then years pass, and you have no idea where your child is, or if your child is even alive. Thousands of grieving families are suffering this horrifying living nightmare today.
Just last week in New York, it was reported in the news that a 9-year old little girl went missing. Thankfully the police traced a fingerprint and found her safe. Some evil nutcase kidnapped her, and sent a ransom letter to the girls' hurting parents, demanding $50,000. I shudder to think what would have happened to that little girl, if the assailant hadn't sent that ransom letter, and that the police did a good job dusting for prints. Those parents are so fortunate to have their daughters back, because most kidnapped children end up tortured and then murdered. We live in a wicked world. I listened to a needful MP3 sermon today by Pastor Steven Anderson titled: "THINGS ARE WORSE THAN YOU THINK." He's sure right about that!
Dear reader, do you honestly think that on behalf of all the abducted, tortured and murdered children in the world, that there is no place of Hell where God punishes them? You better believe there is a Hell. Granted, God is willing to forgive the vilest sinner who comes to Him by faith in Jesus Christ, but John 3:20 teaches that those who do evil refuse to come to Christ. That is why a sinner must repent to be saved, that is, a sinner must change his or her mind to acknowledge THE TRUTH that they are a guilty sinner, so that they will trust what Jesus did for them on the cross to be forgiven and saved.
Did you know that the center of the earth is a molten inferno? The Bible even says that Hell burns with “fire and brimstone.” Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Brimstone is sulfur, the primary element in volcanic lava. The Bible says that people descend into the earth—or go down—into Hell (Matthew 12:40; Ephesians 4:9). I humbly believe that Hell (Greek: Hades) is compartmentalized, with the place of Torment on one side, and the place of Paradise on the other. We see this truth confirmed in the true account of The Rich Man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31. Abraham told the rich man (who is now so poor) that there was a Great Gulf fixed between them, which was impossible to cross over to the other side. My friend, Pastor Max D. Younce (1935-2023), has authored a helpful book titled: 'A BIBLICAL EXAMINATION OF HELL" on this very topic.
There is a Hell dear friend, of that you can be assured. Science evidences that there is a Hell, as I just mentioned about the center of the earth being a molten sphere. Actually, scientists cannot drill down 4,000 miles into the earth's core, so they cannot determine if the center of the earth is solid or liquid lava. Considering that scientists do know that the earth's inner mantle is in fact liquid brimstone, it would only seem logical that so also is the innermost core. One thing is for sure, the Bible teaches that Hell is located beneath the earth. Proverbs 15:24, “The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.” Solomon was the wisest man who ever lived, and he knew that Hell is located “beneath.”
Something else to consider is that the wicked world has always known there is a Devil.
Infamous Satanist, Aleister Crowley
Elvis making a 666 hand sign
Masonic occult imagery on every U.S. one dollar bill
George W. Bush flashing the El Diablo (I love the Devil) hand sign
Bohemian Grove's mock human sacrifice 'Cremation of Care' ceremony
Infamous Satanist, Anton Lavey, flashing El Diablo hand sign
I could show you thousands more photos of famous people showing their allegiance to Satan. Do you really think dear friend that the Devil doesn't exist? Well, these people above all sure do. When I look at nature, the moon and stars, all the awesome foods that I eat, the incredible way that our human body was fashioned, and so much more, I am 100% fully convinced that God made all of this (Psalms 19:1-3; John 1:3; Romans 1:20; Colossians 1:16 - Note: All Scripture references are only to the inspired King James Bible).
It was British Prime minister Winston Churchill who rightly said, “The moral landslide in Great Britain is due to the fact that Heaven and Hell are no longer proclaimed throughout the land.” After visiting most churches today, from their dead pulpits you'd never get the impression that a place of Hell even exists. Shame on the pastor who refuses to preach the reality and horrors of Hell. In the year 1869, Fanny Crosby wrote these mighty words:
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying, Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave; Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen, Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.
Dear reader, please make sure of Heaven today while you still can. Once you've breathed your last breath, it will be too late. I am saddened when I think about Apple Computer founder, Steve Jobs (1955-2011), who died as a Buddhist. Mr. Jobs couldn't take a single penny of his amassed $10,200,000,000 with him into the grave. So sad and tragic.
The same can be said of David Bowie (1947-2016) who also died in his Buddhist faith without Christ. If a man dies in his sins, Hell will be his everlasting home, damned without hope.
One of my favorite Hollywood actors is Gene Wilder (1933-2016), aka, Willy Wonka. Very sadly, Mr. Wilder was a self-professed Jewish, Buddhist, Atheist. Jesus plainly warned in John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Neither Steve Jobs, David Bowie or Gene Wilder were born-again believers. Almost assuredly (unless they repented of their dead works on their death bed) they all died in their sins, and their Buddhist religious faith could not save them from God's wrath against all Christ-rejecters. John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” Oh, the loss of souls is so heartbreaking!!!
The aforementioned famous men could have gone to Heaven and had eternal life, just for the taking. Eternal life is a free gift from God (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:15-18), because it was paid for with the precious blood of His only begotten Son, Jesus. All God asks is that you believe Jesus did it all for you. That's it.
Hell is full of people who thought they had one more day, one more service, one more sermon, one more invitation, one more chance, but they ran out of time and went to Hell. The way to Hell is paved with good intentions. I love you unconditionally whoever you may be, and I want you to be in Heaven with me for eternity. Will you by faith receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins? Will you trust the risen Savior? The choice is yours alone to make friend.
The Clear Gospel In 4 Minutes (Pastor Ralph Yankee Arnold)
John 16:7-11, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
The worst and only “Unpardonable Sin” that a person could ever commit is not to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. I mean, God has made getting saved so easy, simple and free, that no one has any excuse not to get saved. I love and thank God so much that He made His plan of redemption for mankind very simple. In a true sense, eternal life was not “free.” Oh, it is free for you and me and anybody else who wants to have it, but our redemption came at a GREAT PRICE. That price was the precious blood of Jesus. ...
1st Peter 1:18-21, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”
Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay. What a wonderful Savior!!!
Dear reader, please do not commit the Unpardonable Sin of refusing to put your childlike trust (faith, confidence) in what Jesus has already DONE for you through Calvary' cross. I say “through” Calvary's cross because contrary to popular opinion, Christ's work of redemption WASN'T finished on the cross, when Jesus uttered the word: “It is finished” (John 19:30b). Think about it, when Jesus uttered these three words, He hadn't died yet, nor had He been buried or resurrected from the dead. Those three things comprise “the gospel.” So, Jesus' work of redemption were NOT finished on the cross.
According to Hebrews 9:11-12, “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” The liquid blood that Jesus shed on the cross had to be sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat in Heaven, in the Holy Place in the presence of the Father (Hebrews 9:22-24; 12:24). So, what was finished on the cross? Look at John 19:28, “After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.” Also, for cross-reference, please read Psalms 22:15, “My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.”
When Jesus said, “I thirst,” it was the last prophetic thing that needed to be fulfilled. It had been prophesied in Psalms 22:15 that Jesus would greatly thirst upon the cross. Jesus, better than anyone, knew what Old Testament prophesies said concerning Him. Our dear Lord was meticulous about making sure that all Messianic prophecies concerning Him were fulfilled. So, now you know what “It is finished” really means. Christ's time on earth was up. He ran a good course. He fought the good fight of faith; and then because as a sinless man He could not die, Jesus yielded up His Spirit into God the Father's hands, exiting His life on earth.
I hope friend that you have been born-again by faith in the 'GOOD NEWS' (GOSPEL) of Jesus Christ crucified on a cross for your sins, buried and then physically risen from the dead the third day. This is “the gospel” (1st Corinthians 15:1-6) by which all who BELIEVE IT are immediately, irrevocably and eternally saved. You have God's promise of it (Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 1:21; Galatians 3:24-26; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 1:2).
Regarding John 16:8-11, Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980) writes in his Bible commentary titled, “John: The Son Of God”...
The word “of” in verses 8 to 11 might be translated “concerning.” The Holy Spirit convicts the world concerning sin because people do not believe in Christ. That is the greatest sin, and the heart of all sin, and back of all sin (vs. 9). The Holy Spirit reproves the world concerning righteousness, because Jesus will be gone, and His righteous example and teaching before the world will be taken away—so that the Holy Spirit must take His place in this respect. Concerning judgment, since that wicked generation had judged and crucified Jesus, Jesus promises that even the Devil himself will be brought to judgment. How little hope any lost man has to escape it!
“Of sin, because they believe not on me,” Jesus said (vs. 9). The Holy Spirit takes the place of Jesus as Comforter and Teacher and Guide, and so He takes the part of Jesus against this wicked world which rejected Him and crucified Him. He will reprove the world “of sin, because they believe not on me.” All sin—but particularly deliberate sin—because they believe not on Jesus. The Jews and all of mankind have sin coming from our fallen, deceitful hearts. That may be the secret sin referred to in Psalm 19:12, the sins that people did not intend and perhaps are not even conscious of. But rejection of Christ is “presumptuous sin” as that Psalm puts it, a certain willful sin.
All the sin against Christ is the greatest of all sins because it is against God most manifest, that is, in Jesus Christ. It is a sin against such mercy, such compassion, such righteousness. To reject Christ and refuse to trust in Him is the summing up of all sin.
The Jews who rejected Christ sinned so greatly “that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias. which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation” (Luke 11:50, 51).
That rejection of Christ by the people of Chorazin and Capernaum was worse than the sin of Tyre and Sidon and Sodom, Jesus said. And after being exalted by seeing the mighty works of Jesus, they would be cast down to Hell. And where the disciples went and preached Christ, if people would not hear, the disciples were to shake the dust off their feet as they departed, and God would hold the city accountable at the judgment.
...The Holy Spirit will come to judge “of righteousness” (vs. 10). That is, Christ had been so plain in His preaching about righteousness; now the sweet Holy Spirit comes to rebuke sin and reprove it He comes to reprove all the self-righteousness, all the Pharisaical righteousness, all the ceremonial righteousness, all the religion without Christ. For we remember that the Jews to whom Jesus talked did as they did with Paul: “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God” (Rom. 10:3). And we remember how Jesus, when He was here, cried out, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites.”
That kind of human righteousness is an abomination. Any so-called righteousness that leaves out Christ and the blood is a human, manufactured righteousness that will not stand up before the all-seeing eye of a holy God.
And so the Holy Spirit is to carry on in His condemnation of any righteousness without God, any morality without the fundamentals of the Faith and trusting Christ as God's atoning Saviour.
And the Holy Spirit is to convict the world “of judgment.” Why? “ . . . because the prince of this world is judged” (vs. 11). The world that crucified Jesus has to come to judgment. The world that made that pure and Holy One like a criminal must come to the bar of judgment and its wickedness must be revealed. All who takes sides against Christ, all who helped in His shame and trouble, have a sad and terrible judgment coming. To takes sides against Christ means that this Holy Spirit of God takes sides against you and passes judgment on wicked men who turn down Christ.
I love and admire Dr. John R. Rice. I never had the privilege of meeting him. I was only 13 years old when he graduated to Heaven in 1980. Brother Rice is so right in his commentary on John 16:8-11. The greatest sin of all sins is to turn down Jesus Christ as one's Savior.
God has intentionally made the new birth very simple. You simply need to realize that you're a guilty sinner for breaking God's commandments. You need to know what you are being saved from, the penalty of sin which is to suffer and burn in Hell forever. This is the 'Second Death' (Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). There is none righteous, no not one, the Bible says (Romans 3:10). We are all horrible dirty sinners.
The biggest sinners of all are the hypocritical religious crowd (like at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida) who condemn other sinners, overlooking their own horrible sins. Pensacola Christian College's (PCC) ungodly pastors have banned me from attending their so-called 'Campus Church' since August 2, 2022, because I criticized their mistreatment of people. It didn't matter that I sincerely apologized to Campus Church and PCC, they refuse to forgive me. What hateful hypocrites!
A sign of a baby Christian is that they look down on other sinners, now that they (like PCC) have chosen to clean up their life of bad habits. That is spiritual kindergarten. But a sign of a mature Christian is that they count them self among the fallen and guilty, having the humble attitude: “There but for the grace of God, go I” (Galatians 6:1-3; Philippians 2:3).
Make sure dear reader that you have been born-again. Believing that Jesus once existed is not enough to get to Heaven. Living the Christian life is a sure road to Hell, fire and damnation. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. The hellbound infidels in Matthew 7:21-23 boasted what THEY HAD DONE for Christ, but they failed to trust Christ alone for their salvation, which is the Father's will (John 6:40).
It is the worst sin imaginable not to trust Jesus Christ. All other sins, no matter how heinous and evil, will be forgiven to any sinner who places their childlike trust in the sinless Lamb of God. John 1:29, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
Pensacola Christian College (PCC) and their pathetic Campus Church (which is not a real New Testament church) wickedly invited and honored infidel Ken Ham in 2022.
Young earth creationist con man, Ken Ham preaches another Gospel. Like most false teachers do, Ken Ham's Answers-In-Genesis business speaks with a forked tongue. Ken Ham says in one breath that you get saved by trusting Christ, but then he literally says that there is a "SECOND" thing you must do to be saved., Answers-In-Genesis says is to: "Turn from your sin; turn from your wicked way and begin to follow Him." ...
The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM
Dear reader, there is NOT a "second thing" which you must do to be saved. Ken Ham is preaching a counterfeit plan of salvation. If you watch the above video by Answers-In-Genesis, you can even hear them use the word "SECOND" at 50 seconds time. This is damnable heresy, a false Gospel, not the truth.
So, what must you do to get to Heaven? When the Philippian jailer asked what to do, to be saved, Paul and Silas answered in Acts 16:31b, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins and mine. He was buried, Three days later Jesus bodily resurrected from the dead. This is the GOOD NEWS (the GOSPEL) according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. Anyone who comes to God by faith as a guilty sinner, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that Jesus was buried but then raised up from the dead the third day, is saved.
There is no “second thing” that you must do to be saved. Ken Ham is preaching another Gospel, accursed by God (Galatians 1:6-8). Nor does the Bible say that you must "begin to follow Him" to be saved, that is WORKS! Look at this comparison of what Ray Comfort, John MacArthur and Paul Washer preach VERSUS what the Jehovah's Witness cult preaches. I took these quotes from the preceding article that I humbly wrote:
Ray Comfort: "If belief is all that is necessary for salvation, then the logical conclusion is that one need never repent.
Say what? That is DAMNABLE HERESY!!! How can salvation be a free gift from God if effort is required on our part? That is a major contradiction. If I give you a “free” birthday gift, but then tell you that you must wash my car to get it, is it really a free gift? No, it would be an exchange, a trade, or a reward, but it couldn't be a gift (because a gift must be completely free). Jehovah's Witnesses are theological liars!!! So also is Ray Comfort, Ken Ham, Pensacola Christian College, Bob Jones University, Marty Herron, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, John MacArthur and Paul Washer—all theological liars!!!
Answers-In-Genesis are guilty of the same doublespeak as the Jehovah's Witnesses and proponents of the Lordship Salvation heresy. God Himself calls turning from your evil way “WORKS” in Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Turning from one's evil way is WORKS. According to Ken Ham and Answers-In-Genesis, faith is NOT enough to get to Heaven, they say you must do a “second thing,” which is to: “Turn from your sin; turn from your wicked way and begin to follow Him.”
Dear reader, I love you with God's unconditional love. I want you to be in Heaven with me at the end of this earthly life. But you won't be in Heaven if you follow the counterfeit plan of salvation of Ken Ham and Pensacola Christian College. PCC says that you must repent to change your behavior to be saved. That is another Gospel of partial faith in Christ plus works!
I am alarmed that 99% of pastors and laymen today are calm, unconcerned and complacent regarding the deadly false doctrine of Lordship Salvation, misunderstood repentance and the Devil's corrupt Bible revisions.I feel like Jeremiah who uttered the words in Lamentations 1:12a, “Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by?...” Doesn't anyone care? Apathy and indifference is nothing knew. What is the difference between apathy and indifference? I found this helpful quote today:
Apathy and indifference are often used interchangeably, but they do have slightly different meanings. Apathy refers to a lack of feeling or emotion towards something. It can be described as a lack of interest, motivation or engagement. Someone who is apathetic may not care about anything, and may not be moved by good or bad news. Indifference, on the other hand, refers to a lack of preference or bias towards something. It can be described as a neutral stance or a lack of investment in the outcome. Someone who is indifferent may not care one way or the other, and may not be moved by good or bad news. In summary, apathy is a lack of emotion, while indifference is a lack of preference. SOURCE
Regardless of their meanings, it is sinful for a child of God to be either apathetic or indifferent concerning the things of God. If you don't care that the Devil has corrupted the Word of God, that is wrong and sinful. If you don't care, like PCC doesn't care, that infidels like Ken Ham have corrupted the Gospel of free grace, then you are guilty. PCC honored Ken Ham in 2022, which makes them partakers of his evil deeds. PCC has much blood on their hands according to 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” If you aren't upset, you're not paying attention. The preacher isn't the only one who should be upset today (and sadly 99% of pastors are apathetic and indifferent toward heresy and sin).
As we learned earlier, apathy is when you just don't care, which is a sinful mindset for any child of God to have. Indifference on the other hand doesn't necessarily mean you don't care, it just means that you don't have any interest in something, which is also a sin for God's children when it comes to the things of God. It is difficult in any generation to find people who genuinely care about the things of God. The Apostle Paul couldn't find anyone who shared his burden for the church at Philippi, which is a city of Macedonia, the foremost of the district, a Roman colony in Greece. Philippians 2:20, “For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.”
I humbly know how Paul feels, frustrated. If I graduated to go home to be with my blessed Savior today, my ministry websites would be gone within a year, because the hosting plan that I pay for annually would expire. I don't have anyone interested to continue my work, except parasites who want to exploit my website domain to sell merchandise to make money. It will happen over my dead body, literally. Right now I am paying $880 per year for 150 GB of server space. I think that is a great deal considering how God is using my humble labors to change lives, help families, expose evil, promote soulwinning and reach lost sinners with the Gospel of free grace. Somebody's got to expose the Devil's deadly fake Bible revisions. Somebody's got to expose the Devil's deadly lies of Lordship Salvation and misunderstood repentance. Somebody's got to care!!! If not me, who? If not now, when? If not here, where? Is there not a cause?
Pastor Clarence Sexton of the Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee is another guilty heretic! They own and operate the Crown College. Unfortunately, Pastor Sexton has also invited, honored and promoted infidel Ken Ham. What is wrong with these overpaid pastors today, who wickedly bid Godspeed to false teachers like Ken Ham, Paul Washer, Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Sam Adams, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Sam Horn, Adrian Rogers, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Gary Walton, Marty Herron, Steve Pettit, Chuck Phelps and other hellbound children of the Devil? No one is saved who teaches that faith by itself is not enough to get to Heaven. All of the aforementioned names are of ungodly men who require lost sinners to forsake a lifestyle of sinning to be saved, which is 100% WORKS. The inspired King James Bible is very clear in Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Nothing more is required to be saved than childlike faith in the death of Jesus on the cross for your sins, His burial and bodily resurrection from the dead three days later. 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”
Kindly said dear reader, Ken Ham is a fraud, a theological liar, a wolf in sheep's clothing according to the Word of God (Matthew 7:13-15; 2nd Corinthians 11:3-4, 13-15).
