Jesus Didn't Finish His Work Of Redemption On The Cross

John 19:28-30, “After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.” When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

I hear many preachers misinterpret this passage. Nothing was finished on the cross concerning redemption! The Gospel, as defined in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 is Christ's death, burial and resurrection (none of which were finished on the cross). Christ had not even died yet when He uttered “It is finished.” So what was finished? Jesus tells us in John 19:28—all of the Old Testament Bible prophecy concerning Him up until that point. Everything that Jesus was supposed to do, had been accomplished. Only one thing remained, which was for Jesus to cry out “I thirst!” (Psalms 69:21). Once Christ had made that statement, all of the prophecy concerning Him had been fulfilled, and He could now dismiss His Spirit (die). Remember, Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. Since Jesus was sinless, He couldn't be killed. That is why Jesus commended His Spirit into His Father's hands (Luke 23:46). 

The Lord knew His Bible well! You will never find any student of the Bible, who searched the Scriptures more diligently than did our very Savior! When the Devil came to tempt Jesus in Matthew 4:1-10, Jesus used the Scriptures to overcome temptation. When Jesus witnessed to people—whether it be the Samaritan woman at the well in John chapter 4, or the two men walking on the road to Emmaus in Luke 24—He expounded this with the Old Testament Scriptures. Think about that! Over 99% of soul-winning Christians today stay in the New Testament, but all they had to work with in Christ's generation was the Old Testament. And how remarkably skilled they were using it!!!

Let's go further shall we. Jesus did NOT finish anything concerning redemption on the cross. I love teaching the Bible! I love teaching the Bible because God has blessed me with a good understanding of the Bible. I have been saved for 40 years now. I have had the best Bible teachers; such as, Dr. John R. Rice, Dr. Harry A. Ironside, Pastor Jack Hyles, and Dr. Max D. Younce. Hebrews 10:1, “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.” It is important to understand dear reader, that everything that happened in the Old Testament was written for our learning (Romans 15:4), and as we just read, was NOT the very image of the things they represented. The Old Testament ceremonial laws were OBJECT LESSONS. God never intended for the law (neither moral, civil or ceremonial laws) to give men salvation! As we just read in Hebrews 10:1, the law was merely A SHADOW of good things to come in the future.

Jesus Christ became the fulfillment of those good things to come. Hebrews 9:11-13, “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” 

It disturbs me greatly that so many preachers today totally ignore this passage of Scripture. Anytime you hear a preacher say that salvation was finished on the cross, please tell him he is a liar, according to Hebrews 9:12. The Word of God says Jesus BY HIS OWN BLOOD entered once into the heavenly Holy Place, to obtain eternal redemption for us. So redemption wasn't obtained by Christ on the cross, but through the cross of Calvary. Hebrews 9:12 plainly teaches that Christ obtained our redemption when He sprinkled His blood upon the Mercy Seat in Heaven. 

That is why we read in Hebrews 12:24, “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” Jesus is our Mediator. A mediator requires two parties, so he can mediate between them. On one side we have God the holy Father. One the other side we have sinful men. Man is not God, and God is not man. But praise be to God, our blessed Redeemer is the eternal and sinless Son of God, Who is both man and God. 1st Timothy 2:5-6, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” Salvation can only be obtained through Jesus Christ.

And please notice that Christ gave Himself as a ransom “FOR ALL.” Here again we see the fallacy of Limited Atonement refuted by the Scriptures. I am shocked that Pastor Charles Spurgeon, as brilliant a theologian as he was (most of the time), blatantly and utterly got this truth wrong! In fact, Mr. Spurgeon taught the Calvinist heresy of Limited Atonement, as does Pastor John MacArthur today. This blatant heresy claims that Christ did not die on the cross for all humanity; but rather, only for the saints. Thus the term “limited.” Dear friend, Christ's work of redemption was accomplished “FOR ALL,” as we just read in 1st Timothy 2:6. 

1st John 2:2, “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” Could the Bible be any plainer? I think not. I believe that Charles Spurgeon caved in to ecclesiastical peer pressure from other ministers, just like many Neo-evangelicals ministers do today. Sadly, the apostates at Bob Jones University (BJU) in South Carolina have been caving in to pressure from pseudo-scholars, Neo-evangelicals, the LGBTQ community and liberal politicians, for decades now; so much so that the fundamental Christian world cannot even recognize BJU today as being a Christian institution legitimate anymore. Dr. Steve Pettit since 2014 has preached another gospel of hardcore Calvinist Lordship Salvation at BJU, even honoring John MacArthur's Satanic ministry in California. God's curse is upon these ungodly men, and their ungodly religious institutions, for preaching a perverted gospel of partial faith in Christ PLUS WORKS (Galatians 1:6-9; Acts 15:1).

Again, dear reader, I say to you that Christ did NOT finish redemption on the cross. What Christ did finish was all of the prophesy concerning Himself, based upon His thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. I mean, after all, John 1:1-3 and 14 declares that Jesus Christ was the Word of God incarnate (made flesh). Jesus is the Living Word; the Bible is the Written Word. That is why Jesus commands every believer in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”  We learn about Jesus in the Scriptures, and Jesus is the Word of God (Revelation 19:13).

Redemption was finally completed when the last drop of Christ's literal, physical, liquid, blood was sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat, which is located in the Holy Place, within the Tabernacle. The Apostle John said that in the future, the city of the New Jerusalem will descend upon the earth, in which is found the TABERNACLE OF GOD. Revelation 21:2-3, “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” It is within that Tabernacle of God that the Mercy Seat exists, where Jesus' blood is forever a testimony of His sacrifice for our sins. The blood had to be applied in Heaven folks.

Dr. John MacArthur is an unsaved dangerous false prophet, who teaches that Jesus' literal liquid blood is NOT in Heaven, and that it soaked into the dirt at the cross. Pastor Marty Herron (former pastor of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam) is a big fan of John MacArthur. So also is Dr. Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University since 2014). Dear reader, you have no idea who corrupt Dr. MacArthur really is. Did you know that MacArthur teaches Jesus' blood was not God's blood? Read his statements for yourself, and weep. In case you did or didn't read it, here are his words again, because this is so important I want you to see this:

GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN!!! Evidently Mr. MacArthur forgot the VIRGIN BIRTH! What normal man has ever been born of a virgin? That's right, NONE! Jesus was 100% a man, but he had God's divine blood in His veins, making Him 100% God as well; otherwise Jesus would have had a sinful nature, just like you and me (Romans 5:12). Woe unto John MacArthur! Woe unto Bob Jones University for bidding him Godspeed! Woe unto Steve Pettit, Marty Herron and anyone who bids this false prophet Godspeed. Woe unto the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for bidding this ungodly reprobate Godspeed! 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” All of the aforementioned religious people have blood on their hands, for betraying the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

If there be any doubt that Christ's blood was divine, please read Acts 20:28, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” God purchased the Church with His own blood. That means Jesus' blood was God's blood! And why wouldn't it be, since Jesus is the only begotten biological Son of God? Only an unsaved liberal preacher like John MacArthur would deny that Jesus had God's blood, deny that children can be saved, deny that Jesus' blood is applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven, and deny that childlike faith is sufficient to receive God's gift of eternal life. Please beware of any Bible college, church, or preacher who hobnobs with, bids Godspeed to, or promotes Dr. John MacArthur! All that glitters is not gold!

Catholics Teach “Born Again” Same As Lordship Salvation

Galatians 1:7 and 9, “...there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ ... As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

The following quote is taken from a 100% devout Catholic website, authored by David MacDonald, which clearly reveals that all of the apostate Contemporary Christian Music [CCM] singers, sinister ecumenical ministers, and Lordship Salvationists; totally AGREE with Catholic theology (which is unbiblical heresy and lies of Satan).

Are Catholics Born Again?

I think Evangelicals and Catholics totally agree about the awesomeness of a personal encounter with Jesus. In Pope Benedict XVI's new encyclical, 'Spe Salvi' we read:

'Life in its true sense is not something we have exclusively in or from ourselves, it is a relationship. And life in its totality is a relationship with him who is the source of life. If we are in relation with him who does not die, who is life itself and love itself, then we are in life. Then we 'live... Our relationship with God is established through communion with Jesus -- we cannot achieve it alone or from our own resources alone.'

Much debate has set Catholic 'Baptism' against the Evangelical 'Born again' concept. I think that greater common ground can be found if we compare the Evangelical 'Born Again' experience to the Catholic 'Second Conversion' experience which is when a Catholic surrenders to Jesus with an attitude of 'Jesus, take my will and my life, I give everything to you.' This is a spontaneous thing that happens during the journey of faithful Catholics who 'get it.' Yup, the Catholic Church teaches a personal relationship with Christ:”

That is EXACTLY what John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron, CCM singers, Max Lucado, Rick Warren, Moody Bible Institute, and all the other Lordship Salvationists are teaching today. In case you haven't realized it yet, Lordship Salvation is CATHOLIC DOCTRINE!!! David MacDonald claims that evangelical Christians and Catholics agree that salvation is an “experience” in which a person “surrenders to Jesus with an attitude of 'Jesus, take my will and my life, I give everything to you.'”

May I say, that is a doctrine of devils. Being born again is NOT an “experience” as David MacDonald refers to, nor is it surrendering one's life to Christ; it is a lost sinner being saved by the power of God (John 1:12-13). It is a miracle of God in response to a man's faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I tell you that the Catholic religion is Satanic through and through. 

Being born-again is a new birth—a second birth, a spiritual birth into the kingdom of God. It is having He (Jesus) Who is the Beginning (Revelation 1:8) born in us. Just as the physical birth (first birth) brought us into this earthly life, so also does the spiritual birth (second birth) bring us into God's family.

The Salvation Army follows the heresy of their founders, William and Catherine Booth, who considered salvation a “state” that could be lost if one failed to continue in obedient faith. May I say, salvation is NOT a “state,” it is a new birth. It is a second birth, a spiritual birth. The spiritual birth is as irreversible as the physical birth. The teaching that salvation is a “state” that is conditional upon “continued obedient faith” is demonic works-salvation. The believer's salvation is secure in Christ's finished work of redemption. Jesus died, was buried and arose. He ascended into Heaven. The blood has been applied to the heavenly mercy seat (Hebrews 9:12, 24). The price has been paid.

I KNOW I am saved because eternal life is rooted in the PROMISES of God (Titus 1:2); and not upon how good I'm doing in life as a believer. My salvation is secure in Jesus Christ and has nothing to do with my efforts. Eternal life is a gift (Ephesians 2:8-9). A gift has no strings attached. Our part is simply to trust upon the name of Jesus. God does the saving (John 1:12-13). Salvation is not a state, nor an experience, nor a feeling; but rather, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1st Peter 1:23). We are born anew of the Spirit of God (John 3:5) by the seed of God's Word. Amen!

Catholics, CCM singers, ecumenical ministers, Lordship Salvationists, and other apostates, all talk about being born-again as a feeling or an experience; but they deny the power thereof (2nd Timothy 3:5), which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Notice in the preceding quote that David MacDonald, admittedly a devout Catholic, continually refers to being born-again as an “EXPERIENCE” (just as the apostate Newsboys CCM group do)!

David MacDonald defines being “born-again” the exact same way as apostate CCM singers and sinister ecumenical ministers, teaching, “Jesus, take my will and my life, I give everything to you.” That is a false Gospel. Judas was one of Christ's very Apostles, a follower of Jesus, but still went to Hell. Jesus called Judas a devil (John 6:70).

Notice that the mention of “sin” is not made. Being born-again is a matter of having one's sins taken away by the precious blood of Jesus Christ (1st Peter 1:18-19; John 1:7; Revelation 1:5). Colossians 1:14, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” The Pope doesn't mention “sin” when he speaks of being born-again. David MacDonald talks about having an experience, just as the evil Newsboys sing and teach; but they leave off any mention of coming to God as a guilty, hell-deserving “sinner” (Romans 3:19).

Modern apostates jumble a bunch of Biblical terms into their fruit cocktail of religious music and sermonettes; but fail to present the Biblical Gospel of a man coming to God as a guilty sinner and trusting upon the Lord, apart from all self-righteous works, to be forgiven (Romans 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8-9). Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for our sins (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). Salvation is not a feeling, nor an experience; it is a miracle of God in response to a sinner's faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ (John 20:31; Romans 10:3-4; Galatians 3:26).

Asking Jesus to “take your will and life,” and “giving everything to Him”; are not the ways to be saved. This is made clear in Matthew 7:21-23. In verse 21, Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Jesus said You must do “the will of the Father.” What is the will of God how to be saved? John 6:40 tells us exactly what the will of God concerning salvation is... “And THIS IS THE WILL of Him [God the Father] that sent Me [God the Son], that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Amen and amen! So there you have it, the will of God how to be saved, i.e., to believe on Jesus Christ. The will of God is to BELIEVE... to BELIEVE... to BELIEVE on Jesus Christ, as the Son of God (Acts 16:30-31).

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

Catholics Are Not Christians

Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

I read online today that Peter Criss and Ace Frehley (original bands members of KISS) are both Christians, Catholic. Roughly 51,000,000 Americans are Catholic according to Pew Research. You need to understand dear reader that there are many different meanings of the term “Christian.” The Roman Catholic meaning is far from the biblical meaning.

The way I see it there are three meanings, as relate to this article here: 

1. Unsaved people see a Christian as a follower of Christ - In the Bible, a Christian is someone who follows Christ. The disciples were first called “Christians” at Antioch (Acts 11:26). It was the unsaved world, and not believers themselves, who called the followers of Jesus Christians. If you were placed on trial and accused of being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
2. Catholics see Christianity as a system of beliefs and practices, a religion - https://www.catholic.com/encyclopedia/christianity
3. The saved person has been born again - This is the true biblical meaning of what it means to be a Christian. Only a born-again person can enter into the Kingdom of God.

John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” As a musician myself I have always admired Eddie Van Halen (1955-2020). Yet, Eddie was a devour Roman Catholic. The Bible doesn't say you get to Heaven by being religious. Sorry Eddie! His brother Alex is also Catholic, an ordained minister in fact. Alex has often performed the weddings of celebrities and friends. And as I mentioned earlier, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss of KISS are professing Catholic Christians. But dear friend, these men are not born-again believers!

One woman on Facebook was upset with me, trying to shame me for saying that Eddie Van Halen served the Devil all his life, and is likely sadly burning in Hell now. Dear reader I didn't say that, Jesus did. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The Catholic church perverts God's free grace by adding keeping Seven Sacraments to it. According to official Catholic dogma, the first of the sacraments is water baptism, which the Vatican says is the door into the Catholic church. They teach that the Catholic church is the Body of Christ, with Peter (the first pope) as its head. The Bible teaches something very different in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The Vatican says there is no salvation outside of the Catholic church, but Jesus said He alone is the way, the truth and the life.

I truly hope with all my heart that Eddie Van Halen died in the Lord, but it doesn't appear to be so. I do not say that because of the wickedness of Van Halen's career, but because Catholicism is a false religion. Granted, we all have our opinions. But what saith the Scripture? Jesus exhorted everyone in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” El Papa over in Rome cannot save himself, let alone anyone else. Your sinful Catholic priest or Lutheran minister cannot forgive their own sins, let alone yours! You can confess your sins to some sinful priest in a telephone booth all you want, but the Bible says in 1st Timothy 2:5-6, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” My friend, the Bible is abundantly clear that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven!!! Jesus is the one and only Mediator.

The Bible says that eternal life is a free gift. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” A gift is a take proposition, not a give proposition. Salvation is received, not achieved. Do you know why so many preachers today are going astray from the truth? It is because they spend more time listening to their peers and buddies than they do searching the Scriptures. There is no way that you can listen to the Gospel of John or the Epistle of Galatians, and walk away thinking that you must “repent of your sin” to be saved. You won't find the phrases “turn away from your sin” or “repent of your sin” anywhere in the King James Bible. Yet every pseudo-Christian cult teaches that you must repent of your sinful behavior to get to Heaven.

Please understand that I am not a Catholic basher! If you are Catholic I respect your right to believe as you choose. This is America, right? A truly free society is one in which it is safe to be unpopular. So if you are a Catholic, I love you with God's love. I am not berating you for your beliefs. However, I am letting you know as a true friend does, that the Devil is deceiving people with Catholicism. Truly, the Catholic church is a religious prisonhouse! There is nothing taught in the Bible about sacraments. Listen to what Jesus warned in Mark 7:9, “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” Do you see how Catholicism is manmade? The preceding link shows a few dozen of Catholicism's manmade fabricated doctrines. Psalm 118:8, “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Catholics are not Bible-believing born-again Christians, they are Vatican following religious churchgoers. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again. John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:7, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” 1st Peter 1:23, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” The inspired and incorruptible Word of God is the seed (Luke 8:11) by which we are born anew from above by the Holy Spirit of God (John 1:12-13). If you are born once, you die twice (Revelation 21:8); but if you are born twice, you die once (Revelation 20:6). John 3:7, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

Exodus 20:4, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”

Exodus 20:5-6, “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

Dr. David Jeremiah’s False Tests For Salvation Assurance

Ephesians 1:12-14, “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”

Pastor David Jeremiah is way off in some of his Bible theology. In 2nd Corinthians 11:3-4 we are warned by the Apostle Paul about complicating “the simplicity that is in Christ.” My Christian friend Curtis Smale made these helpful true observations:

I just listened to a sermon by Dr. David Jeremiah. The problem with so many of these preachers is that they preach the biblical truth that if you believe in Jesus you’re saved forever—and then they take it back in the next sentence by telling you that if you don’t do these things and don’t stop doing these other things, then you probably aren’t saved.

My Criticisms of David Jeremiah’s teachings about salvation:

• There are no “Birthmarks of salvation.”
• Confession of faith is not necessary for salvation or proof of it. (False confessors; some Jews in the time of Jesus believed in Him, but would not confess their faith in Him because they did not want to be rejected by other Jews and thrown out of the synagogue.)
• Practicing righteousness is not a condition of salvation or proof of it. (There are civic-righteous Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Roman Catholics, Jews.)
• Love is not a condition of salvation or proof of it. (Loving Atheists, Buddhists, Hindus, secular people)
• Conflict with evil is not a condition of salvation or proof of it. (Human-level Righteous non-believers)
• Winning over sin is not a condition of salvation or proof of it. (Unbelievers in AA)
• Repenting/stopping sin is not a condition of salvation or proof of it. (the sinning believers in the Corinthian church)

As our text passages of Scripture teach, the evidence that a person is a child of God is the indwelling Holy Spirit, which only an individual can determine. That is what the Epistle of 1st John is all about. 1st John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” Many Bible students misunderstand the Epistle of 1st John, thinking that we should examine our life and works to see if we are saved. But the Bible never says that. What saith the Scripture? 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” God authored 1st John so that you, as an individual believer, can determine if you have the Holy Spirit. 

And how do we get the Holy Spirit? Galatians 3:1-2, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” Notice that capital “S,” meaning the Holy Spirit of God. You get saved and indwelt by the Holy Spirit by simply putting your faith (reliance) in the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ when you hear it preached. Paul calls this “the hearing of faith.” 

We see this beautifully evidenced in Acts chapter 10. The Apostle Peter preached the Good News of Jesus crucified on the cross, buried and risen the third day, and when Cornelius simply believed what he heard, he was immediately saved and indwelt with God's Holy Spirit (Acts 10:38-43). Kindly said, Pastor Jeremiah complicates the simplicity of the Gospel. 

False Bibles—An Enemy of Soul Winning

In order to live as a child of God, I must have a perfect Bible. Matthew 4:4, "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Notice the words, "every word."

If I have my prayers answered, I must have a perfect Bible. John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." That means that somewhere in the world, there has to be a perfect Bible.

God has told us that His words are pure. Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times."

God has told us that these pure words would be preserved forever. Psalm 12:7, "Thou shalt keep them, 0 LORD, thou shalt preserve them for this generation forever." Since today is a part of forever, somewhere in the world there must be pure words of God. Hence, it does not satisfy me for someone to say that only in the original do we have the pure words of God. Since there are no original manuscripts today, or for that matter, there are no manuscripts even near the original manuscripts as far as time is concerned, then what these people are saying is that we do not have anywhere today any book that contains the pure words of God. Yet, I am commanded to preach the Word.

II Timothy 4:2, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

Now since the words of God are pure, and since all of the so-called Bibles do not have the same words, only one can be the real Bible that contains the very words of God, the pure words of God, and the preserved words of God. The purpose of this chapter is not to enter into a discussion about the Textus Receptus or Westcott-Hort; it is simply to say that if God commanded me to preach His Word, He would have to give me His Word to preach, and certainly His Word is pure, because the words of God are pure according to the aforementioned Scriptures and will be preserved forever. This preacher believes that those preserved words are in the Bible that I hold in my right hand at this very moment-the King James Bible!

I have more respect for the person who says that one of the false Bibles contains the very words of God than for a person who says only the original contains the very words of God. At least he believes, though wrongly, that we still have the words of God which are pure. For many, many reasons I believe that the King James Bible has been preserved in the English language word-for-word. I have to believe that. I must have the words of God, if I live, if I preach and if I get my prayers answered.

1. There are some things that are incorruptible. 

The word "incorruptible" means "perfect," "cannot change," "cannot be improved." If you change something, it must go to perfection or from perfection, so if something can be changed, it must have been imperfect and been made perfect, or it must have been perfect and made imperfect. Let us notice some things that are incorruptible.

(1) God. Romans 1:23, "And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things." This means God is perfect. He cannot be improved; He cannot change. He cannot be taken from imperfection to perfection or from perfection to imperfection.

(2) Our future crown. I Corinthians 9:25, "And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible." Once the crown is received, it cannot be improved; it cannot change. It will be perfect.

(3) Our glorified bodies. I Corinthians 15:52, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." I John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." Notice that our glorified body will be like His, and it will be incorruptible. His glorified body is incorruptible. You cannot improve it; you cannot change it. Then, my glorified body will be incorruptible. It cannot be improved; it cannot be changed.

(4) Our inheritance. I Peter 1:4, "To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you." Our inheritance will be perfect. It cannot be improved; it cannot be changed.

(5) The Word of God. I Peter 1:23, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever." Psalm 126:6, "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." Luke 8:11, "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God." You will notice the seed from which we are born again is incorruptible. It is the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. Consequently, you cannot improve it; you cannot change it. If you do, you must go from imperfection or to imperfection. Notice in I Peter 1:23 it is called "incorruptible." Just as God is incorruptible, just as our crown is incorruptible, just as our glorified body will be incorruptible, just as Jesus' body is incorruptible, just as our inheritance is incorruptible; likewise, the Word of God is incorruptible.

Notice in Psalm 126:6, it is "precious seed." This implies that there is some seed which is not precious. Luke 8:11 teaches us that this seed is the Word of God. It is perfect; it cannot be changed; it cannot be improved.

2. The words of God are the genes of regeneration. 

Titus 3:5, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." Actually the word "regeneration" means "to be re-gened." Just as the genes of my parents brought my old nature into existence, even so the genes of God brought my new nature into existence. Your old nature is sinful because there was sin in the genes, but the genes of the Word of God are incorruptible, meaning that which is born of God; that is, the new nature, cannot sin.

Now if the very words of God must be pure, and if in fact the King James Bible contains the preserved words of God, then any other words are not the words of God. This means that the Revised Version is not precious seed because it is not incorruptible. This means that the Good News for Modern Man is not precious seed, because it is not incorruptible. This means that the Living Bible is not precious seed because it is not incorruptible. This means that the Reader's Digest Bible is not precious seed, because it is not incorruptible. This means that the New King James Bible is not precious seed because it is not incorruptible. This means that the New Scofield Bible is not precious seed, because it is not incorruptible. This means that the New International Version (NIV) is not precious seed, and it is not incorruptible. This means that the American Standard Version is not precious seed because it is not incorruptible. If the versions do not agree, then all of them cannot be the very words of God that have been preserved for us.

3. The genes of the new birth must be incorruptible. 

I Peter 1:23, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." These words were penned in the first century, but it says that the incorruptible seed "liveth and abideth for ever." Since today is a part of "for ever," we must have the incorruptible seed in order to be re-gened, or regenerated, or born again.

4. Suppose corruptible seed is used. 

Can a person then be born again from it? You answer that question. According to I Peter 1:23 we read, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed...." Then, if corruptible seed is used, one cannot be born again. I have a conviction as deep as my soul that every English-speaking person who has ever been born again was born of incorruptible seed; that is, the King James Bible. Does that mean that if someone goes soul winning and takes a false Bible that the person who receives Christ is not saved? I believe with all of my soul that the incorruptible seed must have been used somewhere in that person's life. If all a person has ever read is the Revised Standard Version, he cannot be born again, because corruptible seed is used, and I Peter 1:23 is very plain to tell us that a person cannot be born again of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed, and it explains that that incorruptible seed is the Word of God, and it explains that it liveth and abideth forever.

This is also borne out in Psalm 19:7, "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple." Notice the words, "the law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul." It is the law of the Lord that converts. It is the Word of God that regenerates. The Word is the seed, and the seed must be incorruptible.

7. The perfect Word of God must be used if a person grows in grace. 

1 Peter 2:2, "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby." Notice that it is the "sincere" Word of God by which we grow in grace. So, to grow in grace, we must have the sincere (pure) Word of God.

This same thing is taught in Deuteronomy 4:10, 36, "Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children. Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire."

Notice the words of God are what teach us, and from the words of God we are to be instructed. If they are in fact words of God, they must be pure, because a pure God could not give impure words, and an incorruptible God could not give corruptible words.

8. These words of God are perfect. There are several things in the Bible that are called perfect.

(1) His work is perfect. Deuteronomy 32:4, "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he."

(2) His way is perfect. Psalm 18:30, "As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him."

(3) The Heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

(4) The glorified body will be perfect. I Corinthians 13:10, "But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

(5) The law of the Lord is perfect. Psalm 19:7, "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple." So we must have an incorruptible, perfect Word of God. To say that this could be found only in the original manuscripts is to say we have no words of God today that are perfect, which means we have no perfect Book to preach, we have no perfect Book to read, we have no perfect Book by which to grow, and we have no perfect Seed by which we can be born again or re-gened or regenerated.

9. There are several ways that the words of God are made into impure words by translators and theologians (self-styled).

(1) They add to the Word of God. Proverbs 30:5, 6, "Every word of God is pure; he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." Notice several things in these verses. First, every word of God is pure. Psalm 119:140, "Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it." Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." Psalm 19:8, "The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes." Second, in Proverbs 30:6, we are told not to add to these words. Third, in verse 6 the Bible says that He reproves those who do add to His words.

Then in verse 6 also, the Bible says that those who do add to His words are liars.

Now notice Deuteronomy 4:2a, "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you...." We are commanded not to add to His Word.

(2) They take away from the words of God. Deuteronomy 4:2, "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you." God plainly commands that we not diminish His Word.

Now notice Revelation 22:19, "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." A stern rebuke and warning is given to anyone who takes away from the words of God. This means that God's judgment will rest upon those who try to give us a condensed Bible.

(3) They will try to change the Word of God. Jeremiah 26:2, "Thus saith the Lord; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word." Here we have a command not to diminish one word. It is not talking here necessarily about taking words away but changing a word or diminishing a word. Let the translators of the many versions take heed and take warning.

In conclusion, one may ask, "What does this have to do with soul winning?" Beloved, it has everything to do with soul winning. If the words of God are the incorruptible seed, and if seed must be incorruptible, if someone is born again, then the soul winner must have a perfect Bible. Thank God, we do!

The Opposite Of John 3:20 Is THE TRUTH, Not Turning Away From Sin

John 3:20-21, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

The Bible teaches that people who love their sinning WON'T come to the light. Jesus is the light (John 9:5). Christians are the light (Matthew 5:14). The inspired Word of God is the light (Psalm 119:105). The truth of the Gospel is the light (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4). The unsaved world will NOT come to the light, lest their evil deeds be reproved (negatively spoken of). Lost sinners don't want to hear that fornication is a sin. They don't want to hear that drunkenness is a sin. They don't want to hear that homosexuality is a sin. They don't want to hear that covetousness, pride, lust and taking God's name in vain is a sin. They don't want to hear that failure to honor one's mother and father is a sin. John 7:7, “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”

Our sinful carnal human nature naturally thinks the opposite of John 3:20 is to turn away from sin. Since love for sin prevents an ungodly man from coming to the light to be saved, then it makes perfect sense to our carnal nature that the remedy is to TURN AWAY FROM SIN. This is why we hear this false teaching in so many churches today. In fact, you'll hear this false teaching taught in MOST churches today. Tragically, that includes independent fundamental Baptist churches. They certainly are not fundamental, and they have gone independent of what the King James Bible teaches. Much of our doctrines taught in churches today has its origin in the flesh, and not in the Spirit. These are doctrines of devils. 1st Timothy 4:1-2a, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared...”

Sadly, the Bob Jones University crowd comes to mind. Every preacher has his arch enemy. For General William Booth and his Salvation Army it was the Skeleton Army. I am not joking. The Skeleton Army hated the Salvation Army, comprised of atheists and bitter unbelievers. They hurled dead cats, stones and bucket of feces and urine off the rooftops upon the Christians preaching the Gospel in the streets below. For Pastor Jack Hyles his arch rival was the Hammond Times for the latter years of his ministry. For me it is Harvest Baptist Church of Guam and Bob Jones University. I didn't choose this battle, it chose me. 

I shared THE TRUTH as any faithful Christian ought to do, but Pastor Marty Herron tried to shut me up and drove me out of Harvest Baptist Church. Sadly, his successor Pastor Gary Walton has continued to ignore, ostracize and hurt me, by shutting me out of their church family completely. God will hold these ungodly religious men accountable for what they are doing (Romans 14:10-12; Matthew 7:1-5). I am not judging them, they are judging me. I have always wanted to go back to church, but they continue to refuse. So this whole mess is on them alone! I haven't had a church family since 2014 because of Marty Herron and Gary Walton, but these arrogant men wipe their mouth like the adulterous woman in Proverb 30:20, “Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.” They have all done wickedly, and God sees it all. Hebrews 4:13, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Their pomp, arrogance and haughty attitudes will cease, so promises the Bible (Galatians 6:7). 

We KNOW that the opposite of John 3:20 is not turning away from sin. Whatever the opposite of John 3:20 is that causes a man to come to the light, it cannot be turning away from sin. How do I know that? Simply read the next verse in John 3:21, “John 3:20-21, “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” There you have it... HE THAT DOETH TRUTH!!! The Bible doesn't say HE THAT TURNS AWAY FROM SINNING. No, it simply says “he that doeth truth.” I can conform this with 2nd Timothy 2:25-26, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” Amen! Did you see that... REPENTANCE TO THE ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE TRUTH!!! What truth? Why, the truth that you are a guilty sinner (Romans 3:19-20).

Dear friend, you don't run away from sin to receive the free gift of eternal life, you simply ACKNOWLEDGE THE TRUTH that you are a guilty sinner, and believe the Gospel to be saved. It is that simple. The Gospel (or 'GOOD NEWS' according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 is simply that Christ DIED on the cross to pay for your sins. He was BURIED. After three days Christ RESURRECTED bodily from the dead. Anyone who gladly receives this GOOD NEWS as their own, making this YOUR HOPE for Heaven, is immediately, irrevocably and eternally born-again!!! You have God's Word on it dear friend. Nothing else is required or allowed in salvation. 

Now if anyone comes along, like John MacArthur, Marty Herron, Gary Walton or Steve Pettit, saying that more than faith is required, you know they have been inspired by demons! The ungodly Harvest Baptist Church of Guam is absolutely saturated in the heretical Calvinist doctrines of Steve Pettit and John MacArthur. Don't believe it? Listen to what Bob Jones University (BJU) president Steve Pettit sinfully taught 2,700 students and faculty members on January 26, 2015 in chapel:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

Ladies and gentlemen, that is the Devil talking! That is not the Gospel of free grace, not even in the ballpark. Steve Pettit is the infidel that Dr. Bob Jones Sr. (1883-1968) warned everybody about in 1945, and of whom he said he blow the college to smithereens with a stick of dynamite if he could. Bob Jones College is of the Devil. BJU no longer preaches sound doctrine; but rather, the Calvinist ranting of a theological madman behind the pulpit. Shamefully, Harvest Baptist Church of Guam IDOLIZES this wicked false prophet, bidding him Godspeed. Pastor Gary Walton needs to be fired. All of their pastors at Harvest are bad seed! They should all be fired, and bring in genuine men of God who are sound in the Christian faith. Anybody who thinks that you must turn away from sin to be saved is a theological fool.

As I have plainly shown you from the King James Bible (and there is no other English Bible), repentance is acknowledging THE TRUTH, a simple change of mind, and NOT turning away from a lifestyle of sin as Marty Herron, Charles Phelps, Tom Ferrell, Charles Lawson, Steve Pettit, Gary Walton, Sam Horn and John MacArthur errantly teach. These men all have blood on their hands. These men are all arrogant in their false teachings, insistent that a person cannot be saved without making an effort to turn away from your sinful behavior.

The Bible is 100% on my side. I am on God's side. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Liars every one! You cannot show me even one Scripture that teaches to repent or turn from sin to be saved. That is a FACT!!! The opposite of John 3:20 is THE TRUTH, not turning away from sin.

Religion Is The Worst Thing That Ever Happened

Matthew 15:7-9, “Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

My biological father Arnold Leonard Stewart (1933-2010) was a Christian and a Skid Row Preacher for over 30 years. I know very little about him. My Dad grew up very poor during The Great Depression in the 1930's in Escanaba, Michigan. My Dad was one of 11 children siblings. They were put into an orphanage at a young age. At age 15 he was adopted by a Christian who lived on a farm. He ran away, got into gangs and crime, but in his late 20's turned his life around. That's about all I know. He never wanted to talk about it. I wish I knew more about my father's life. At age 13, my mother (Barbara Jean Josephson) came from Sweden with her grandmother to America. Since my grandmother was an officer in the Salvation Army, my parents were both involved with the Salvation Army. I was dedicated to the Lord at age one by my parents at the Salvation Army.

Having said that, my father used to say: “Religion is the worst thing that ever happened to this world.” That is his most memorable quote. As I thought about writing this article, my father's quote came to mind. Religion is dangerous! May I say, with all Biblical authority, that no religion can get you to Heaven my friend. You can join any or all religions on earth, and yet still go to Hell in your sins. Jesus said in John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Salvation is not found in any religion, but in a person—the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Dear reader, you cannot get to Heaven through religion. The Roman Catholic church does religion right, just like Kentucky Fried Chicken does chicken right. From the cradle to the casket, Roman Catholicism has a religious package for you! They'll provide for your every religious need, right up until you burn in Hell for all eternity without Jesus Christ! You cannot get to Heaven through manmade traditions, rituals, ceremonies and the oracles of man. You must be born again! How do you get born again? 

First, you must know that you're a guilty sinner. Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” 

Second, you must know that there is a penalty for your sins, which is death. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” This includes the second death in the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Third, Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ, Who died on the cross to pay for your sins. Jesus was buried, and after three days He miraculously resurrected physically from the dead. ... 

John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” 

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 

Romans 3:24, “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”

If you admit that you are a guilty sinner deserving of Hell, and you see your need for the Savior. All you need to do to be saved is BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ. Simply take God at His Word as recorded in the Scriptures, receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins. It's that simple. You don't have to turn away from your sinning to be saved. You must turn away from your unbelief as a guilty sinner. Whatever changes God desires to see in your life He will attend to after you are saved, but to receive God's free gift of eternal life, all you need to do is cease from your own self-righteous works and rest completely in the name of Jesus Christ. ...

John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” 

Simply REST in Jesus Christ, placing all your confidence in Him alone, to forgive and wash away all your sins by the precious blood that He shed on the cross to pay for them. ...

Hebrews 4:9-10, “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” 

Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” 

1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

My father was absolutely right, and the older I get the more I appreciate his wisdom in the matter. Religion wants to fit you with glasses, but the Lord wants to open your eyes! Religion is man trying to reach God through human effort, but Christianity is God trying to reach man by the sacrifice of His only begotten Son on the cross. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. God will not save anyone who is trying to be saved, He will only save those who are trusting to be saved. Dear friend, going to Heaven when you die is not a matter of YOUR faithfulness, it is strictly a matter of GOD'S faithfulness to keep His solemn promise “TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE” (1st Corinthians 1:21b). 

The heathen world is continually speculating about the afterlife, eternity and the mysteries of beyond the grave. Well there is no mystery or speculation if you believe the inspired King James Bible. God only authored one Book, not two, certainly not hundreds. Yet today we literally have hundreds of English Bible revisions, all claiming to be the most accurate, but none agree. That is Satan, the author of confusion. God is not the author of confusion (1st Corinthians 14:33). God has kept His promise in Psalms 12:6-7 to keep and preserve His pure inspired Words in the King James Bible forever. The modern corrupt Bibles remove this promise. Dear friend, I am telling you THE TRUTH.

Jesus, please don't leave earth without Him. There is no other way to be saved according to Acts 4:10-12, “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” 

If you want God's free gift of eternal life, it only comes wrapped in the package of Jesus Christ. If you reject Jesus Christ, you don't get the gift. It's that simple. If you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you get the gift with Him. John 1:12-13, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” I hope and plead with you friend, that you will receive Jesus Christ now if you've never done so. Simply put your faith in the Scriptures, believing the record which God has given of His dear only begotten Son, the Christ, Who was crucified on the cross for your sins and mine. But Christ is not dead, HE IS RISEN forevermore! Trust Him now! Rest in the name of Jesus and you will have eternal life immediately and forever!

Jesus Is Our Peace

Ephesians 2:1-17, “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.”

I love this Bible passage. The world is filled with carnal knowledge, bad advice and ungodly counsel. Secular psychologists, relationship experts and educators will tell you all kinds of advice to find peace, but the Bible teaches that JESUS IS OUR PEACE. Robert Puff, Ph.D., is host and producer of the 'Happiness Podcast,' with over 8 million downloads, who states:

A daily practice of appreciating nature is one of the most beneficial activities you can do to increase happiness and reduce stress. While you may feel like you have no time in the day, it only requires a few minutes. Start by taking a five-minute walk outside every day. During this time, disconnect yourself from electronic devices.

...Being in nature is our opportunity to check in with ourselves and listen to our bodies and minds. We may realize that our mind chatter is so intense that the stillness of nature is actually stressing us out. We may be exhausted once we’re at our retreat destination. All of this is important information that will help us take better care of our minds and bodies.

I agree with those helpful ideas. Spending time in nature is good for the soul. When I am feeling a bit down and frustrated, I take a long walk in nature. It doesn't matter where you live. Whether it be a tropical ocean in the south Pacific, or a dreary winter day in Indiana, being in nature is good for the soul. There's nothing, to me, that cheers my soul than a snowstorm. I love the big flaky snowflakes that stick to everything. I encourage you to get out of the house and spend time in nature if you are battling depression. Go bike riding or buy a drone to take pictures in the air. Millions of Americans today are depressed, because they stay inside all the time. Psalm 19:1 teaches that nature declares the glory of God.

That brings me to the point of my article. Although I agree with the preceding advice about spending time in nature, the author totally misses the most important thing about finding inner peace, which is being right with God. NO ONE can truly have inner peace who is at odds with his or her Maker. Isaiah 45:9, “Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?” There is no greater inner joy and peace, than knowing that you are at peace with God. Romans 5:1, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” The ONLY way for anyone to find true lasting peace is by faith alone in Jesus Christ. I KNOW that I am saved and on my way to Heaven.

Many years ago I unintentionally greatly offended a Muslim co-worker. I asked him if he “ knew” that he was going to Heaven when he died. That is a common question that a soulwinner asks others. The man, Ed, was very offended. He harshly replied, “How arrogant! How proud of you, to think you KNOW you are going to Heaven!” Ed further added, “You had better do your best and hope to God that he accepts you someday when you face him.” I deliberately used lowercase letters, because Allah is a myth, not the true and living God. Kindly said, Islam is a false religion. Sadly, there are an estimated 1,600,000,000 Muslims in the world, all of whom reject Jesus as the Christ. 

According to the Holy Bible, they are all going to burn in Hell forever (Revelation 20:11-15). 1st John 2:23, “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” John 3:36 teaches that God's wrath rests upon all Christ rejecters! I love Muslims, as my fellow human beings, but as a born-again Christian I feel sorry for them, because they will die IN THEIR SINS for not believing on Jesus Christ (John 8:24; 20:31). I am sad for my old co-worker Ed, because he never would listen to my wise advice. I gave him the truth of the Gospel, but he rejected it. In fact, some of my unsaved co-workers started harassing me for even witnessing to Ed, angry that I had said he couldn't get to Heaven through Islam. They will sadly all burn in Hell one day, by their own foolishness. John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.”

Ed does not have peace, and neither does any Muslim. Ed used to religiously (no pun intended) uses his breaks and lunch time to roll out his mat on the floor, facing the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia (the holiest city in Islam), praying to Allah. Muslims pray in coordination with the cycles of the moon, 5 times per day. Islam is literally rooted in worship of the moon. It is a wicked false religion that rejects Jesus as the Messiah, just as Judaism also does. Both of these religions will foolishly embrace the Antichrist when he comes, thinking he is Christ. 

Ed used to take a squirt water bottle with him into the bathroom. To put it delicately, Muslims are so entrapped into religious bondage, that they are required by the Hadith (one of their holy books) to cleanse their body every time they use the restroom, lest they go to Hell for being defiled. I kindly asked Ed one time if he believed that he would go to Hell for not washing himself after using the bathroom. He replied, “You got that right!” In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have asked him that, but it blew my mind that a person could actually believe such nonsense. Ed does believe it, with all his heart. No wonder Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Islam is a hard religion of bondage, fear and uncertainty.

This is why I get so upset at false teachers like Dr. Steve Pettit (president of Bob Jones University since 2014), who preaches the same type of bondage as Islam:

“You can't just speak about getting saved, and you accepted Christ, and then that's it! There is a justification; There is a sanctification; There's ultimately a glorification, and though there are three parts, they are all part of the whole, and you cannot separate them. In order for you to qualify for the award, you have to get into the race, you have to stay in the race, and you have to finish the race. If you want to win, you have to run to the end; and winning in the Christian life is everything, because if you lose—if you don't finish—you lose everything—you lose your SOUL. And so, the Christian race is the life of faith that begins, is run, and is finished when we cross over into Heaven!” [emphasis added] —Dr. Steve Pettit (“What Does It Mean To Run 'The Race'?” - 11:34)

What do you mean I cannot just accept Christ and speak about GETTING SAVED? Of course I CAN! Dr. Pettit is preaching another gospel, not the gift of God. Pettit is a heretic, an infidel in the pulpit who perverts the free grace of God. You CAN speak of getting saved because you accepted Christ. By requiring MORE, Steve Pettit is just as guilty as Muslims, who require living one's life up to a certain standard of self-righteousness to get to Heaven. According to Steve Pettit's ungodly plan of salvation, you cannot have the sweet absolute assurance of salvation until you've faithfully lived the Christian life to the end. How is that a free gift? How is that the grace of God. It isn't, not even close!!! 

Sadly, for exposing this woeful evil and crying aloud against this great evil, I have been banned, ignored and ostracized by the ungodly Harvest Baptist Church of Guam since 2014. Pastor Marty Herron is a close personal friend of Steve Pettit, who are both devout followers of Dr. John MacArthur. Kindly said, these three men are all infidels of the faith (false Christians). They masquerade as preachers of righteousness, but in reality they are Satan's ministers of unrighteousness, preaching another gospel (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15; Galatians 1:6-9). I speak THE TRUTH as your friend. I love these men, enough to tell the truth to them. I personally handed several books to Pastor Marty Herron in 2014 at HBC. I was trying to help him see THE TRUTH. He was greatly offended and drove me out of my church family I lost everything near and dear to me. Pastor Herron lost nothing, collecting his undeserved paycheck, stiff-necked against THE TRUTH.

Do you see how they agree? They both teach that you can't just get born-again and that's it. They both say more is required, that you are OBLIGATED to live a life of obedience to God. This is the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation!!! Dear reader, God knows my heart, I am not a troublemaker. I LOVE YOU!!! I love every human being. I am not a respecter of person, and neither is our great God (James 2:1). I simply don't want you to miss Heaven and end up in Hell. Islam is a false religion. Calvinism (which is the garbage Steve Pettit is teaching) is false religion. Calvinism has been repackaged in modern times, now commonly referred to as Lordship Salvation (LS). In essence, LS simply says that faith is not enough to get to Heaven, MORE is required of a person. The Bible says faith is all that is required. Galatians 3:26, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”

Dear friend, Jesus is our peace. Jesus is our peace concerning eternal life. Jesus is our peace as Christians. When you have problems, run to the Scriptures and claim the PROMISES of God. Jesus said this Himself in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” Jesus doesn't give us peace, JESUS IS OUR PEACE.
